Good service. Gelato did not live up to previous reviews. The cone tasted like it had been sitting in the storeroom in an open container since before COVID.

Delicious gelato - try the cinnamon-based Biscoff flavor! Whenever I saw the Dolci Gelati truck around Metro Center in DC, I always stopped by and grabbed a cup of gelato during my lunch break! So glad theres a storefront in Takoma Park conveniently located right next to Roscoes Pizza, perfect for dessert!Out of a dozen or so flavors, Im glad I picked the cinnamon Biscoff flavor. The Dark chocolate gelato looked pretty tempting. Most of the flavors are classic with a few unique seasonal flavors like Cherry Blossom, Blood Orange, and Rose. The flavors at the store are not as exotic as those listed on the website.You can get 2 flavors in a scoop and dont pay any extra! I didnt realize this until after I got my scoop and paid. Next time! Excited to come back and try something new!

This gelato was as good as the stuff I had in Rome. Was great that there were many vegan flavors to choose from, which were really creamy and delicious. I had the toasted coconut which was good, salted caramel which was by far the best!

Another summer favorite. They get delicious gelato the coconut flavor is amazing . It’s a very small shop . They offer some indoor and outdoor seating area.But it’s close to a park and benchesClean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Yum- great gelato- what more needs to be said. This little cafe is in downtown Takoma Park, perfect for a quick snack after going to the farmers market or for dessert after a dinner in one of the excellent downtown restaurants. There are a few tables to sit at but most people go outside and window shop or sit on a bench and watch the people go by.

Dolci, which has two locations, has probably the best Gelato in the DC Area. Takoma Park is kind of blessed with its presence. While its main location is in Shaw, this one is right in my neighborhood! I have never had a bad Gelato here, but my favorite of all time is probably their rum raisin, which is otherworldly if you see them offering it. Either way this place is highly recommended.

The gelato is very good. I especially like the salted caramel. But it is a bit pricey, and the space is not particularly attractive or comfortable, and the service can be slow. So if all you care about is yummy gelato, this is the place for you. But if youre fussy about atmosphere I would recommend Rome or Florence over Takoma Park.

Attempted to go for gelati last night at about 8:45pm - place was closed. The hours listed on google maps and their website say that they are open until 10pm on weeknights... Might want to call before making the trek to be sure theyre open.

Love Dolci Gelato. I had the Espresso and the Cookies and Cream. Both of which were amazing! :)

As an Italian, I was quite disappointed at their version of what they think an affogato is. Not a very big selection of flavors and their gelato is okay. The staff could also be a little friendly and maybe try to not look so darn unhappy.

Awesome gelato and delicious coffee. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Its not really a come, sit, and stay type place - but there are tons of places to sit nearby with a bowl of gelato or a hot cup of joe.

Sok. im glad theyre here and every now and then have an interesting flavor (black sesame once, yeah man!).A pricey treat, tho--i confess im more likely to stroll down to Spicy Delights Caribbean carryout to grab a half pint of York-brand ice cream (rum raisin, soursop, guava, etc.)
