Totally dishonest customer service. Went in twice about gettin linear trunk actuators installed along with 4 15s and a box built but mysteriously both times I was asked for my phone number. Like really? If you didnt know how to do it, I would have had better understanding if you would have just kept it 100 and said yall dont know how to or dont install actuators. Simple. Then to tell me 4 15s wouldnt fit in my car🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️. Whats so hard about installing what Im paying for???🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ Still to this day hadnt received that phone call. I went way to Houston just to get what I wanted. I wouldnt recommend this place to no one but to each its on.

The building isnt fancy, but the knowledge is plentiful. They have been in business for many decades and have always been helpful. The estimates are pretty close to the actual bill so no bait and switch surprises that can happen in this industry. I see the quality equipment they sell and use to wire the systems. They want you to be satisfied with the work you asked them to do. They dont over sell, but will make suggestions based on budget and facial expressions. If you want a tight clean sound that can still pound loud enough to make you smile stop by and see what they can do for you. Jeremy Shaw

Everything came out great, but the price was $100 more then I was quoted when I dropped off the car. Was told no I never told you that. Looked at the bill and was charged twice for installation. Once for $85 the second time for $100.

Every time I went into the shop. One of the tech guys would tell me some of my speakers where blown. They were not blown when I drove into the shop. They would switch the amp modes so the speakers would not play proper, in order to sell me new speakers. The next time I went to the shop they said one of your woofers is bad. Ordered a new replacement. They installed it and it quit playing before I got home. They would not take responsibility for wiring the speaker up wrong. They said my amp was bad. Took out the speaker they installed and my system played fine. I have never recommended anyone to Stereo Sales and I never will. I hope this review keeps you from wasting valuable time and money!

I had an extensive stereo system installed in my 2001 Dodge Ram. I bought this truck brand new and keep it that way. Paul and team did an awesome job in incorporating all the equipment and custom install. Customer service, follow up and after sale service with warranty seems to be unmatched by others. I drive 400 miles round rip to be serviced by them and its worth it.

Went to Best Buy but they were booked up to a month and a half, so I went to Stereo sales to get my head unit installed faster. It ended up being like twice the price of what Best Buy offered, the head unit they had was an older version and more expensive then Best Buy as well. The sales guy was nice at least. When I got my car back they destroyed and cracked the dashboard around the head unit. So I basically paid twice as much to get sloppy work done. I would most likely recommend not coming here.

Put speakers in fast and did a good job. Were very accommodative and after the first set of speakers they were gonna put in “dodge things” they found domed better ones and gave me a great deal on them.

Great service and an amazing installation. The communication was very refreshing. And the end product is astounding. I am so glad I went there to have my stereo system installed.

I took my truck to stereo sales on July 10th to see why my bass amp wasn’t playing they charged me $8 for a fuse and $40 to see why the amp wasn’t playing, only to tell me my amp was blown never took my radio out to test the wires or anything. Well today I took my truck to the radio place that put my new door speakers in and he took my radio out checked my wires the original guy that put my system did it wrong he tested my amp which was getting power so with that being said my amp was never blown stereo sales are crooks. Don’t ever go there I never will go there again in my life

Worst service ever! Guy lies to me about telling me how long my car was going to be there, so I never got serviced at that point just a refund was all I wanted!

Went and bought speakers and had them installed. When I got my car back my whole dash piece was loose. Cigarette lighter outlet broke, radio not bolted down just moved around. Very unprofessional. Charged almost $400 to install speakers. Outrageous. Will never go back. Now have to go somewhere else to have them fix what they did.

Left very satisfied with the work. The staff was very kind and courteous. Ask for Todd he is very helpful in answering any questions that you may have and does a great job in installations. Pricing was also reasonable for the work done.

This is my third stereo installation and the staff are very professional and courteous. They are willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of and working properly and that we are trained on how to use the new stereo. I would highly recommend them for your future install or purchase.

They do decent work, but go a block down the road to Audio Addictions and get the same quality for a lot less Money. Stereo sales was $25 more labor to install an amp wiring kit and the amp wiring kit was also an extra $20-$30 dollars more there. So I saved at least $50-$60 going to Audio Addictions. Audio Addictions $110, Stereo sales $175 for the same wiring install for subs. So yes they can often offer same day install a lot of times, but they cant compete on price.

Guy with gold Tahoe, Nick, and especially Todd definitely knowledgeable and friendly. Not trying to rip you off just trying to get you where you wanna be. I appreciate the work these guys have done and doing. Only complaint is managment was too careless and didnt know much but Todd was quick to get everything straightened out for me

The installer did more than I requested. I only asked for my wires to be ran but they went ahead and hooked the whole system up. Would have been 5 stars if they would have been a little more friendly.

Todd was a VERY knowledgeable person, he asked me what options i was looking for and he showed me a few radios with those options, one of them was in his personal vehicle! Did my install on a Skar audio system for a fair price with seamless results . Only issue is there lack of diagnostic capabilities when problems arise . My amp blew do to the florida heat but they assured me it was a blown speaker. Took it directly to the manufacture and they said other wise. Im sure they are fully capable of finding solutions but choose not to figure out problems once all is said and done . Altogether there customer service is pretty responsive and they don’t try to upcharge you as most shops are known to do but they can still make an effort to do better in certain areas .

Quoted me 3 hours for a 2 hour job. Took them 4.5 hours total. Looked Jerry rigged with wires hanging when picked up. 240 bucks for a 150 dollar job on top of all that.

I came by Stereo Sales to see why my car alarm key fobs were not working properly. The technician took apart and tested both alarm systems. He successfully fixed one of them and advised me on how to get another online and get it programed which saved me money. Speaking of $$, he didnt charge me anything.What sold me on them was not that they didnt charge me but the fact that he recommended an alternate solution to my problem. I highly recommend them. !!

Brian, Paul, Josh, and crew were very hospitable. They installed a Bluetooth/XM Ready radio with special harness for steering wheel controls in my 2007 MINI Cooper S. While actual install time went over due to issues out of their control, they were super awesome and let me know what was going on the whole time. Their install was clean and professional and the radio looks great in the car. If you want a local company who will take their time to ensure that EVERYTHING is up to your expectations, give them a call.

The sales and installers were AWESOME BUT the OWNER TRAVIS lied straight to my face. I would come back because of the workers but HONESTLY I dont think I would come here because of the owner running this place you cant trust what he says because of him lieing to me!!!!!! My first encounter with Stereo Sales started with a trip to the Ford dealer. My fuel pump burnt out and they disconnected my after market sound system because it was being powered by the BCM fuse. They didnt want to hook it back up because the power source being the BCM fuse is what shorted my fuel pump.. in a 2016 vehicle.Stereo Sales charged me $130 to run a new power supply, parts and labor. The work was quick and efficient.About two weeks or do after that, the digital signal procezsor, a JL fix 82, stopped working. An employee from stereo sales told me it would.be $300 for the part and $75 for labor over the phone. I authorized it. I then went to the store to pick up my car and was told $350 for the part and $75 for the labor. I was called a liar when I said I was told $300 on the phone. Then I found out that stereo sales actually installed the system back when the previous owner of my car.So now I learn that I was charged $130 to fix a problem Stereo Sales created... That also caused my fuel pump to die. Admittedly I got angry at this point and raised my voice, but ultimately told them to remove the replacement part after I was called a liar.I paid for the labor since they did have to do work.I called several days later and came to an agreement. I would pay nothing more labor but would pay $300 for the part if they wanted to keep my business. The owner agreed. He said he would have to calibrate it though to make it sound right.I said no, Im not paying any more than I already have. The system, upon completion sounded like reverb instead of bass, and my highs and mids sounded tinny and had 0 soul to them. I thought my front six speakers were blown.I returned to stereo sales. They agreed to calibrate the digital signal processor because I thought the speakers were blown out.After nearly an hour, my system sounded better but still the front speakers sound hollow and empty. They barely work. The bass still sounds more like noise than actual musical notes. The system used to sound like a choir of angels. Now it sounds like something at a low budget car show.I havent taken it back to Stereo Sales yet because I refuse to give them anymore money to fix a problem that should have been done right the first time. Even if that means going an hour and a half away to find another JL dealer.

Stopped by this place to get a price some things installed, got a great price from the installer driving the gold truck, he told me to come back cause it was too late in the day. So I went in there he wasnt there, the other installer told me some outrageous price, like double! I said no thanks and went down the street to Audio Addiction

I had a bad installation with another stereo store in jax. Brought it in to stereo sales the next day and they hooked me up with perfect bass.

They did a phenomenal job on my car and to show them my appreciation my car was totaled the next day

Mr. Todd was the most helpful technician at stereo sales he got my whole radio hooked up in less than 10 minutes and was very polite and respectful and I would give him a 10 out of 10 on customer service. Mr. Todd is the only reason I go to stereo sales now

(Including the dash install kits, steering control modules, rear view cameras etc.)Dont look anywhere else because they wont anything in stock and will just ask you to wait for shipping.Todd truly backs his products and came up with a nice JL entry level setup. Rich designed an awesome custom ported truck box that would allow room for W3 growth without compromising my truck space.John, Josh, & Ryan were freaking MVPs after I had a few mix-ups with the lower power gain due to my skimpy wires and speakers not being parallel.Nothing but good things to say about this Shop and the team. Awesome upgrade! I went for what I thought was going to be a quick speaker and subwoofer swap, turns out I had more troubles than I knew. I explained to the technician (Todd), that I had a couple of blown speakers and that I would like them changed out. I was offered varying prices, but ultimately I wanted my system to sound really clean and crisp. We had agreed on a price and they got to work, turns out my amplifier had a couple of blown channels and had to be swapped out, this of course changed everything. I have a 2004 Toyota 4 runner that had a JBL Synthesis system, before it blew it sounded what I thought was really good, until I heard the new system that Stereo Sales installed. They had to pretty much change out the entire system. The technician (Todd), that worked with me, made sure that he explained everything that he was doing along the way as well as different options. This goes a very long way in my book, He even showed me how the new stereo operates and the settings that could be done. I didnt even know but as a bonus I was surprised with a handsfree bluetooth setup that works beautifully. What I really appreciate is how hard they tried to get the system that I had to actually work and that they explained that I would never sound as good as I wanted it to with the problems that it had. I got what I feel was a very nice and great sounding system. Great job Todd

Came in looking for a custom sub enclosure, subwoofers, and amp.The design took longer than expected with Rich, but it was because he was actually throwing in a few surprises with the design to accommodate some future upgrades! #MajorKeyAlertTodd went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of.Josh and John was were awesome as well they knocked out the box construction while Ryan fine tuned my system to accommodate my recent upgrades.Their time and expertise truly brought my trucks audio quality alive.They constructed the custom subwoofer enclosure with ease, installed and spent the extra time to fine tune my Pioneer XS2800 BS, JL RD 500/1, & JL W0V3-4 subs!!!!Dont go to anyone else in town and ask them about their specials they have packages for all budgets!
