I took my wedding band there to be repaired. There was a broken prong. They did great work on fixing the prong. I paid for the services, but upon further inspection, a diamond had fallen out of my band while in their care. I made the employee aware and she apologized that she hadn’t noticed and told me to come back in a few days. When I went back to pick up my band, I had to pay again. I asked if it was the diamond replacement to make sure I wasn’t paying for the broken prong twice since I had talked with two different ladies and she said yes. I didn’t think I would have to pay again since the diamond was lost while they were working on my ring. I sent them an email to inquire about their policies and if it was standard to have to pay when they lose the diamond and never got a response. I don’t think I owed them money for the diamond that was lost while my ring was at their shop. The broken prong was fixed beautifully but I do feel let down and that is why I gave 3 stars instead of 5. Especially since I reached out over a week ago and haven’t heard anything back.

I drove down from Birmingham to pick out a ring for my wife. Sean the owner was so helpful in picking out something that she would love. Absolute joke of a business. I don’t usually post reviews ever but this place is very unprofessional. Spent a month and a half back and forth with this business over a gold chain. We ordered two necklaces which got “miss-placed” or in better terms sold to someone else. And the owner proceeded to tell me he never ordered them. Owner was very rude and condescending. Not to mention that when we finally got a refund he was short 25 cents.

I have lived across the nation and I have never found a more knowledgable and trustworthy jewelry expert than Sean and the pros at Tallahassee Diamond Center. If Sean doesnt have what you want he will find it all while delivering very straightforward info and incredibly fair pricing. Purchased an engagement ring 8 years ago and still going back.

My husband and I were looking for a unique and nontraditional wedding ring and heard about Tallahassee Diamond Center from a friend. We went in and were helped so efficiently that we found the PERFECT ring within minutes! We hadnt had a specific style in mind, just amethyst and silver or white gold. We were only visiting town for a short time, the store had our ring sized and polished in no time! 10/10 would visit again for our custom jewelry needs.

After a brief interaction with this place, Ill definitely take my business elsewhere. Too bad you didnt realize that I would have waited for a custom design....and paid the fees....and paid cash for a 1.5-2 carat diamond to go in that custom setting. Oh well, your loss!

Did not try to up sell and did not pressure me to buy. Very professional staff and a great experience!

Tallahassee Diamond Center has been my jeweler of choice for years. The staff is wonderful- honest, kind, and patient. Brad, the jeweler, is incredibly talented. He has repaired countless pieces for me, and even custom made a pair of earrings! His work is fantastic! Ginger is so very nice and helpful (and stylish -- shes always great for an opinion!). The owner, Sean, is honest, kind, and always has a witty response. Hes like a jewelry savant. His prices are more than fair, and shopping there is so fun that Im actually sad to leave the store.10/10 would recommend.

Jewerly Store disgusting and rate them as a zero. Not a trustworthy business with terrible customer service. Please go to other places cause he DOES NOT give top dollar on nothing. Try it and you will see for yourself. He will discourage you that he pays top dollar. Dont tell him where you are going after you see him FIRST. Carly worked with us to put together, yet again, another dream ring. Their prices are competitive - you get the best bang for your buck no question about it. We were able to get a better quality diamond and setting for a much better price than competing retailers. We were also drawn to the the fact their warranty covered anything... anything. All cleanings, re-dippings, or repairs are covered.

I went in today with (what I thought was) a big chip on the table of my engagement ring. The stone is a family heirloom, so I was devastated. Sean looked at it and offered me options to repair it, and after closer inspection he realized it was just something stuck to the top of the stone--cleaned it up and didnt charge me a cent for the inspection. I appreciated his kindness so much + hope to go back for any jewelry needs in the future!

We went into Tallahassee Diamond Center to try on engagement rings. We had been to several other jewelry stores to try on rings before visiting Tallahassee Diamond Center and the problem I was having was that I liked EVERYTHING. The staff here was great at helping me to narrow down my choices and by the time I left I had found two rings that I was in love with! The staff was also very knowledgeable and was great at suggesting rings to me that I might not have picked otherwise, but that I ended up really liking. They were great listeners and had a better selection than the other jewelry stores wed been to in town. We will definitely be returning! :)

I bought a diamond ring else where, but needed reassurance. The lady that helped me was really honest, and she said they are a diamond whole seller, so they would have matched the price. I will probably buy from this place next time instead.

Took my vintage engagement ring in to have stones cut and the settings reinforced (I lost two small stones)...Tallahassee Diamond Center not only found someone to cut the stones (true to the original style) but they reinforced the undercarriage and installed the newly cut stones. The jeweler is AMAZING and the staff are very helpful!

Beware. Took my family heirloom ring to be cleaned and checked. They didnt use the same metal as the ring to replace two prongs then way too soon after their cleaning and reinforcement a diamond fell out. The repairing jeweler said almost all the prongs needed repair and the 2 that were done were completed incorrectly.

TDC is the best place for repairs.

I would like to share a cautionary story regarding one of the most disrespectful and offensive customer service experiences I have ever had.I brought a necklace on a sterling silver chain to The Diamond Center for repair, as a link had separated from the clasp. When I went to pick up the necklace, I immediately noticed that the chain felt much too long, but given that the necklace had been broken for a few weeks, I thought I might have misremembered how it felt. Upon comparison of where the necklace was now falling on my chest with photos at home, I confirmed that indeed the necklace was significantly longer than it had been before.I called the store the next day and spoke with the owner and head jeweler, voicing my concerns. I explained the situation and asked for my original chain back (wondering if a mistake had been made), as this one was clearly much longer.I was met with immediate aggression from the owner, who jumped on the defensive and accused me of being rude and combative for even asserting that this might not be the original chain. I had to calm him down, and then we agreed I would stop in to the store later that day.That afternoon I stopped in to show the owner and jeweler the existing necklace and the comparative photos. The owner and jeweler were uninterested in what I had to say or what photos I was providing. Instead, the owner sought just to prove me wrong and shut me up. He pulled out a ruler and another silver-looking chain, though no proof of it being the same material was provided. He proceeded to pull this chain to attempt to show me how silver can stretch. This may all be well and good when a chain is strongly pulled on from both ends, but that doesn’t explain how my chain prior to the clasp breaking (which was not by force) would have stretched in the week it was left in the hands of The Diamond Center if that was even the case. When I gently questioned this as I was processing what the owner had just showed me, he immediately raised his voice and was completely aggressive, rude, and disrespectful to me that I would dare question him. I think this owner has a serious misunderstanding of what aggression and combativeness versus the courage to speak up when you are dissatisfied with service look like, given that I spoke softly and respectfully both on the phone and in the store.Completely aghast, I simply walked out after being manhandled and berated the way that I just had been. I have never been spoken to in such demeaning and degrading manner, especially by a store owner or manager. I certainly did not trust The Diamond Center with any rectifying solution it may have provided (which, in fact for the record, they did not provide).Do not go to this store for any type of repair work. Do not go to this store if you expect any kind of collaborative problem solving for a service issue. Do not trust that this store will take care of you if you purchase something and it breaks. Do not trust this petty and hot-tempered store owner to listen to you or speak to you with any kind of concern for your satisfaction or respect as a human being.I will never set foot in this store again and caution others against patronizing this establishment.

The prices were good, but you get what you pay for. My repairs were not finished when I was told they would be, and when I finally got them they were poor quality. Stones were set crooked and the one replacement stone was such a poor match it almost looks silly. The people were friendly, but I will not return.

An amazing store!!! Staff was extremely knowledgable. I had a few questions and they were for a lack of a better word HONEST. I had a piece that i thought I knew what it was, they explained to me what it was and how to tell. I followed up with some research and found the owner was spot on. Based on that experiece, I took my mother in laws ring to them, ( She had been in an accident and the ring had to be cut off and as you can imagine stones missing dented and some other details, in was a mess) thinking they would have to replace. To my suprise they believed they could fix it, and they did perfectly!! I would recommend going to Tallhassee Diamond Center before you make a final choice anywhere else!!!!
