On two (2) occasions I have moved between Florida and Ohio. Each relocation I have used Browning Moving and Storage, Lakeland and Tallahassee, Florida. Michael Haimowitz was my initial contact with Browning; Mike is professional and efficient; outstanding at providing an accurate estimate of all costs with solid ideas at minimizing costs as well. Subsequent to meeting Mike my relocation was assigned to Lora Stokes as my full time Point of Contact (POC). Lora was available 24/7 in order to answer any and all questions and eventually coordinated every aspect of my relocation which was handled flawlessly. Lora stated she felt I would like each individual she assigned to my relocation; and, she was right. Darryll Murray, Angelo Anchondo, Carlos Lyons and Ricardo Williams are all personable, very likable, with a dedicated hard working attitude. It was a pleasure to meet and interact with each of these individuals!!During my career I moved between offices located in Detroit, Miami, Chicago, Washington D.C. and El Paso using moving companies contracted by the federal government. Run dont walk away from this company.They forged my signature onto inventory sheets with the condition of my household goods, and proceeded to lose many high value items and not pad and of my furniture when they loaded it into the truck in Tallahassee. It was padded when it left my house and taken to Tallahassee, but it showed up without a stitch of padding, so they apparently unpadded everything en route and never padded it again.Out of 3 Restoration Hardware cribs, only 1 survived because it had never been out of the box from Restoration Hardware and had their padding still. Brand new, expensive American-made furniture was left unpadded with ladders, metal file cabinets and the like shoved into and onto them. These are the most incompetent movers in the history of moving. Even furniture items that were on our high value list arrived without a stitch of padding, including new items from Charleston Forge.Im not sure how this company is still in business. Forging customers signatures on inventory sheets for federal contracts is illegal. Period. Law enforcement and the legal officer have been briefed.

Mike, our sales agent, was very professional and accurate in estimating our out of state move costs. April, our move coordinator, was very patient and accommodating with all of our questions and assisting us in packing boxes. Our head driver for the move was very professional and thorough. All of our items arrived intact and he even managed to deliver our belongings to our new home earlier than estimated. I would highly recommend this team for any residential moves!

The house was sold and we needed to move our furniture and store until the new house was built, about 10 miles distant. We contacted Browning and Michael Haimowitz came out, inventoried the goods, explained the process and gave us an immediate quote (very reasonable) for moving and storage. We accepted and were contacted by April Snow who coordinated the move. Browning also gave us a variety of boxes to pre-pack. Moving day .. and David, Tim, Daryyll and Angelo arrived on time. They were very polite, efficient and professional. They wrapped and handled our heavy furniture very carefully and safely plus all the boxes we had pre-packed. An excellent and experienced team! I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am in our overall experience with this group. I used a company that had moved us to Florida to set everything up. Browning was the local company they chose to make the move and send us on our way to Texas. We - the other company and I - specifically warned Browning that they would need a shuttle because of steep driveway below the grade of the highway, and the small highway itself. They showed up in a Big box truck. They began to handle furniture without wrapping it. They finally got a shuttle, loaded it and proceeded up the grade - with the door open. Guess what - weight shift, things fell out - shocker. Once our stuff arrived in Texas - we are missing a leaf to a table, they broke: three antique tables, my gas grill, a floor lamp. Countless pieces have chips and paint marks from improper handling and storage. Suffice to say, my claim form is lengthy.

We used Browning Moving and Storage for our office relocation. The weeks leading up to the Big Move were stressful and overwhelming. Monica followed up with our office regularly to make sure we didnt need any further assistance and to offer any suggestions. We were provided totes to pack our loose items so that we didnt have the burden of trying to locate moving boxes. They were very professional at all times. On Move Day they showed up before their expected time and immediately assisted in the final packing of our office items. They took great care in wrapping and securing our computer equipment and office furniture to avoid any damage. The worked carefully and quickly to get us moved and set up at the new location. Browning Moving and Storage of Tallahassee did an excellent job boxing up and loading my daughters household goods. They ensured there was no damage to the apartment and no damage to my daughters household goods. We have used over 15 mover in 40 years. They treated my daughters household goods as if they were there own!! They are the best we have used for boxing and loading the goods. The people to ask for are Darryll Murray, Payton Ocallaghan, and Joshua Langille.

My driver was very friendly and helpful, however many of my boxes arrived soaking wet, which ruined the contents. Ive lost close to $500 in records and collectibles and countless more in invaluable items. My computer desk was broken in the move, as well, and several of my boxes were mysteriously repacked without my knowledge. I get pressured to sign forms and wasnt able to verify the condition of my items prior to the driver leaving. Ive reached out to the company about these issues and have received no response. I would not recommend this mover for long distance moves. This was the highest quote I received and the service was subpar. I trusted this company because of their affiliation with United Van Lines, but that trust was clearly misplaced.

I enjoy working with this company. I also like that they also help children in need with their charitable efforts.
