You, know just like cars often we get attached to stores and think of them as friends. Kmart was a huge part of my life. It had the good old, simple 80s nostalgia. It had everything I needed and it was right around the corner. I am sad that one of the last vintage 80s stores closed. I took vids and pics on the last day, thats how attached I am rest in peace Kmart. You will be dearly missed.

One of the many many reasons why k-mart closed. try using the store locater on their website. you would think by now they would have just a list of the stores that are open. you cannot blame Walmart for everything

I know theyre going out of business, and that makes me sad. Sad to see anyone go out of business, not just Kmart. The reason for the 3 stars is that I went there anticipating the closing/clearance sale would result in some good bargains. All that seems to have happened is that the merchandise got re-tagged at crazy high prices. For example, a winter coat for a two-year-old shows the price tag of $39 99.. So sure its 70% off, but the resulting price is what it should have cost in the first place at Kmart. Another example? Washcloths - standard, tan facecloths for your bathroom had a 70% off sign. I picked one up to look at the tag. $7.99. Yes, you read that correctly. $7.99 for a normal, beige, not-special washcloth. THATS why KMart is going out of business, imo.

Im non-binary. My pronouns or they/it and Ive figured out this when I was 3 months old. I have had a rough life being the way I am. People used to always call me k-mart because I wasnt as good as the other kids, because they thought of themselves as Walmarts and Targets. But now Im a published author with hundreds of awards and a Nobel Peace prize. Thank you so much Kmart for being cheap and trashy just like me.

I had a fantastic experience at the Tallmadge Kmart. The store was very busy, things where located conventionally, staff was very friendly and understanding. There are only two downsides.1: The pantry had no freezers unlike other Kmart stores for refrigerated goods such as Deli, Frozen Meats, etc.2: The store is liquidating and permanently closing.I wish all the staff at the Tallmadge Kmart good luck for all their future endeavors.

Meets all of my expectations for Kmart, besides if you are going in for a pickup, the time it takes before they find your stuff is variable at best. Its taken 5 minutes at times and 45 minutes and 3 employees others.. otherwise pretty decent people and store seems clean.

Unless this is some wayyy in depth hipster social commentary art project, I am pretty sure that the entrance to this store contains some sort of wormhole that either transports you to a post apocalyptic future where the store has been looted and only desperate mutant stragglers remain, or the wormhole somehow takes you back to hours before hurricane Katrina hit, and plops you in a Kmart in heart of New Orleans. These are honestly the two most logical explanations I have for how a store could possibly look and function the way this store does.

They took forever to ring us up because they couldnt figure out how to redeem the 9 dollar discount I had, and they lost an online order that we had because they gave me the wrong one the first time. We were there for 2 hours. Do not recommend

My favorite KMart. Pretty soon it will be the only one left for miles. Easy to get to. Nice hours especially during the holidays. Located in a semi residential area. Perfect for clothing, shoes and more. Sometimes cold in the winter and can be hot at the checkouts during the summer months. Clean and friendly.

This is a friendly, clean Kmart with a wonderful staff. We go here quite often because they offer decent merchandise for a good price on most things. We also get our keys done here, and the staff has always done a good job.

The store looks like it is on its deathbed. Dingy, empty shelves, disorganized, etc. The few times I have gone in I have regretted it as the item I was looking for was out of stock. The only redeeming quality is their blow out sales when they are getting rid of inventory, then you can get some good deals.

Not sure how this place hangs on. They have fair prices, but they are never really crowded. The staff is kind enough. The selection range is good. I dont know how the Hardware section lost so much ground after the merger. Before the Sears merger I could get 90% of the items that I needed for quick home or auto maintenance or repairs from here. Now I come up empty handed unless i need a standard socket light bulb.

This place is always out of everything and had poor service, every time I walk in to buy something I walk out empty handed. I would call this place a joke but jokes are funny this place is a sad relic of what used to be a simi-reputable location. Use the time you would have wasted looking here more productively, just drive somewhere else.

Lots of expired products on the shelves. Many of the items dating back as far as April and July. Dingy store. Slow customer service and items that were clearly advertised as being on sale were not ringing up as such at the register and the cashiers do not look into it or investigate. They just delete the item from your order and put it under their counter. Vastly disappointed from my shopping experience and noticed very steep prices store wide that vary differently from other stores such as Target or Walmart. I can see why the company is going under.

I always liked K Mart even as a young adult. However they just closed the one near me in Tallmadge, Ohio and its a shame that they went out of business. I will miss it

Absolutely terrible selection of WWE figures. They’ve had the same Bo Dallas since like 2014. Wouldn’t surprise me if they go out of business solely for this reason. I mean what kid wants to play with Bo Dallas, man.However, they more than make up for it with their awesome men’s body wash aisle. Amazing variety as far as the eye can see. This Kmart is one of the only locations that carries my all time favorite, Axe Snake Peel Exfoliating Body Gel. I always look forward to slithering in and buying my Snake Peel.

This store is a little run down and the security is lacking. I wish they had more cameras in the parking lot since my car once got broken into here by shattering a window. To be fair its a good store if you want to avoid the human hive at walmart.

I doubt any Kmart will be around much longer, of the remaining ones, this is a decent one, but you can tell the company is struggling. Dated. A bit like a time capsule, but prices are good and you may find what you need.

So long old friend, the neighborhood wont be the same without you.

12/30-2016 Young teen cashier was polite and very nice. The problem is the store had sales that didnt ring up correctly at checkout. Items in the store missing prices or price tags. My check was denied and I was told by a manager that they couldnt manually enter checks. Really? With that old equipment they are using she should have been able to. I think the register is from the 80s. Too bad Kmart doesnt think it needs to be in this era.

I get sales and coupons out the wazoo. But all I find are closed permanently.

They have great product and I found everything I needed. They treat there customers with respect.

They had everything I needed and good prices.

No option for no star. Worthless customer service, they ignored me and then assisted someone else the moment they walked up. Another employee was running through the aisles with a cart and nearly ran into me and several other individuals. Everything was disorganized and unstocked.A disgrace to the company, hopefully will be on the next round of closings. I will drive to kmart over an hour away before going here again. I walked out without buying what I needed. I will never return to this store, and warn against even setting foot here. Drive to another location, the distance will be worth avoiding this mess.

Scam artists. Bait and switch for years, and Im sick of it.They put stuff on sale so you put it in the cart but it rings up full price and then hope you wont notice. Then if you notice the issue, they make you wait forever for someone to go check. Problem is I checked the SKU before going to the register, and they lied.I stopped shopping here years ago over the same issue. This time I figured Id give them another shot, and you can guess what happened. Earbuds that rang up $6 more than the sale price. What was worse was there were 2 other registers with people waiting on the exact same issue on different products.They dont keep good inventory, the shelves look like theyve been ransacked in electrical. I wanted to buy 2 other brands of earbuds but they were returned items with the packaging all in tatters with packing tape all over them. (Does Kmart really want to sell opened earbuds to people? Thats gross!)I tried to buy a pair of shorts and none of the labels on the hangars matched the sizes of the clothes. It took forever to find the stuff, and forever to ring out.I walked out empty handed. Dont waste your time here. Its worth even a 15 min drive to avoid this dump.

Customer service is horrible. Not willing to help at all. I returned an unused item but didnt receive the full refund first. I asked and they tried to fool me by saying I gotta pay tax to get a FULL REFUND?!!Then claiming I must receive a BOGO for 50% deal or redeem some SYW points without even reading the receipt that ONLY 1 ITEM was purchased at that transaction and the full amount of payment was payed by my bank card. When they finally decide to give me the full refund, it was about 10 mins later. The cashier was nice but she isnt familiar with her job. she spent about 10 mins just to check & look for m pickup orders. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
