Do not buy anything from this place they will not give you your money back for any reason. I purchased a chainsaw from them 15 days ago and a little confused that they insisted that the product operated before I left the store so they added oil and gas and spent 20 minutes trying to start it,when it did finally start left the store only to find out that it didnt want to start for me after 2 uses. I studied enough you tube videos on it and followed the directions and it just wasnt working so I attempted to return it when the jack ads manager refused and picked up the saw from the counter and followed me out of the store saying its fraud if you reverse the payment on your credit card. This place will not be in business much longer go to lowes and home depot avoid this place

If you love tools like I do, you gotta love this place! Always friendly and helpful and have a good inventory. Not always the lowest price in town but you get what you pay for.

Very very very terrible service, needed to replace a product that I paid with debit card at the store, had warranty but did not have my receipt, I should still be in the system. Was not in the system and the lady was very reluctant to help, I have shopped here before and I have returned products with no receipt before so should have been no issues. Never shopping here again good riddance

Very nice place a lot of tools with good prices.

Great experience! I chose the wrong item, rather than berate me, lol, the Manager nicely brought the correct one from the back. 1 year warranty on most items, as opposed to Harbor Freight with 90 days on their junk. Much better quality and name brands for sale too. 10 times better than the quality and dis service from, again, H/Freight.My new go to store.

The store is very well organized with easy access. BUT, mr Taylor, ran out of patience very easy. I asked for a discount for a spare tire ( for my employers trailer), which had sings of use (someone had already mounted it, on a trailer) . His last word was : I dont care if it has sings of use, there is no discountSee pics attached.

The Tampa store is fun to visit because they have an amazing variety of tools, equipment, casters, you name it. Prices are great, store is clean, and full of cool stuff.

Processing was very user-friendly, but my only suggestion is that you make shipping free for orders totaling a certain dollar amount and offer faster delivery times for less. Otherwise, I wouldve rated five stars!

Incredibly BAD customer service. Tried to spend a gift certificate and the cashier said she doesnt know how to find or apply the certificate and I could call corporate and come back (45 minutes each way).

This my second set of Gorilla Lifts that I have ordered. The first set works like a charm, and the delivery date was faster than I expected. I would give them a five star on the first set, and I hope the second set is just as good!

Usually we find what we are looking for but some of their personnel requires training in Customer Service. Some of them make you feel as if they are doing you a favor by talking to you. Other than that the store is fine.

Definitely coming back to shop for more it was my first time at the store and I absolutely love the prices looking forward to getting tools for myself.

This store is ok, the location in Tarpon is much nicer. It seems like whenever I come to this one I struggle because what I want is out of stock?

John is a unhelpful employee and made my shopping experience horrible. Since I walked in the door he was rude and extremely abrasive. He was rude and very nasty. Not a good representation of this company at all.Me and everyone with me were highly offended. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I will not be going back.

Like others said, staff doesnt know what they are selling. Bought two Honda Generators during hurricane Irma. My intent was to run two in parallel. I discussed my intentions with the store clerk. Was advised as to what I needed and purchased the generators, but they were out of the parallel connection cables. Upon doing research for the parallel cable, I understand that I really need a companion generator which is also sold at Northern Tool for a higher price. Store policy during hurricanes is no returns. I understand that, but do not want to return. I want to exchange for a higher priced product to accomplish what I discussed with the clerk. Manager said to sell it on-line. Really? Your staff advised me what to buy, now you wont let me get what I really need. Way to take advantage of people during a disaster.

I have done 2 online deliveries and 2 visits to the store.-prices are not competitive with home depot, lowes or ace.- in store always out of stock on items.Not a 1 stop destination and again selection of products in stock are just poor.

I always enjoy shopping here. I’m a DIYer and I don’t like buying cheap tools. I come here for the mainly for tools and yard items.That and the bathrooms are super clean. I dont have to clean the toilet before I use it!

Store managers has a really poor attitude when questioned about pricing. Wanted to buy trailer tires. Check pricing they wanted double the price of most other retailers. I ask the store manager about the why the huge price difference the reply was rude and he didnt care. Told him I would go elsewhere his reply was joyfully just simply okay. Only been in northern tools 5x bought a press washer from them. The floor employees seem nice enough but the managers seen nasty and have no respect for the customers. No competitive pricing and nasty attitudes we questioned about it. Check online before you buy at the store the store even tries to rip off its own online customers.

Some good products at a decent price. But its best to know what youre looking for before you walk in the door. They were willing to honor the online price when product was more expensive in store.

Terrible customer service and appreciation I bought a large surface cleaner my 3rd one from them and tried to return it with an open box yet unused and he said he cant take it back but if he did he could only give me $200 for it and i paid $900 this store and the managers are a joke im taking my business to a local pressure washing shop forward after spending $30k in past 3 yrs with them there is just no loyalty 😡

Seemed like there was only two associates on duty in the entire store, and one of them claimed to be on his break when I asked for help. Tool selection was pretty limited for a tool store, expected a lot more out of them.

This is absolutely a terrible company. They have a price on the Internet for a knife sharpener, and I bought it. Then they came back and told me the price wasnt high enough and they refused to sell it to me at that price. I asked them to honor the price they had on the Internet as that was their responsibility to have an accurate price. They refused I would not sell me The knife sharpener at the advertise price. Do not do business with this company they are not honorable

Bought a gas air compressor. Called ahead and talked to Taylor. This guy is the best. He went over everything, mait. performance... Went next day for pick up. Had paper work and mait kit set up to load. Taylor was out but the man help me load was great too. N T has some great people working at their stores. Hopefully mgt reads their reviews.

I predict that if this business keeps doing what they do, as poorly as they do, that its days are numbered...Poor customer service at Hillsborough location today. Store not busy, at least 6 clerk standing around shoot the bull with each other, I walked around looking for a particular tool and left empty handed but pockets still full of cash. Went to NAPA where the service is always pretty good. I dont know what they pay their employees to do during store hours, but Im pretty sure it is supposed to be to talk to the customers, not each other! Theyll be another bankrupt business that will blame their failures on the economy, instead of looking at the fact that their just lazy complacent idiots!
