Wow! Their customer service was top notch. The gentleman that I spoken to took the time to explain to me, how to diagnose the problem. Walked me through the possible fixes. Took the time to explain how each would work. I have called other transmission shops and they would not even give me the time of day. Sunbelt Transmissions have earned my trust.

I was referred to Sunbelt Transmissions a couple of months and they are by far the most knowledgeable, qualified mechanics I have come across in the Tampa area. I brought my vehicle in and they found the problem and fixed it in the matter of a couple hours. I highly recommend them to anyone who is having transmission problems.

These guys are the guys you wish all other shops were. Passionate, patient, detailed and of course, solved the problems. You dont always have to replace the WHOLE transmission like other places advise. Most of the issues are with the electronics/valve bodies. I was there when another guy was so happy after going to other shops, his issue was also fixed and not related to transmission (they can fix anything?). Fabian is extremely knowledgeable, was able to correct my AW55 transmission. I would recommend to friends or fam anytime. Shop is also clean and has a pressure testing/rebuild area all top notch.

These guys are TERRIFIC! Seriously. I purchased a transmission valve body / control module from Sunbelt for my Nissan XTerra -- a hard part to find in stock anywhere, but carried by Sunbelt. I had a problem, however:I live in Nicaragua where I work for the U.S. government, and Sunbelt ships only via UPS. Not a problem for these guys. They worked a special arrangement for me to send them a USPS shipping label, and got the part to me in perfect shape without delay. (Garrett... thank you for such outstanding customer service.) My nissan trany has a problem. Fabian is working with me to get it fixed. Nissan is horrible people who dont care. I am working on getting the $$ for repair asap from Sunbelt Fabian. Its hard sense iam new to Tampa but it will be good to get help from these professionals

I hardly ever write reviews especially if not a compliant but let me tell you. I have a work van and a bad transmission. Talked with Fabian (owner) and he freely shared knowledge on what smaller parts that I can replace myself instead of having a new transmission since I cant afford it right now. Ive gone to 2 other places before here and was given the automatic (pun not intended) you need to rebuild or replace transmission for about $2,400! Fabian and Garett helped me with knowledge and time and parts. I was able to fix my van for $185.I highly recommend Sunbelt Transmission/ Valve Body Builders. They were professional, knowledge, honest, and courteous. I tell all my friends about this really refreshing experience at a mechanic shop!2001 E250 van 4.2L engine with almost 1/4 million miles!

Took my truck to them to fix the valve body and it was worse when I picked it up so gave them another chance and got a call IT IS READY awsome picked it up now the transmission slips... Never had that problem so after $750 I cant even drive my truck now tried to call fabian and was told DONT CALL ME NO MORE so two tries 750 dollars later and im worse off than I was

I have TR-60SN/09D valve body used in Volkswagen and Porsche...this is an Asian Warner valve body...the transmission shop wanted to charge me $4k to install parts and labor. I was able to get this part for $850 remanufactured with sonnax upgrades. Tested on a vbt4000...the install was $1000. Before getting your transmission repaired make sure you have the valve body checked by a technician you can trust.

I have never used them again and i will not ever recommend these guys to anyone. I sent in a valvebody from a bmw 325i to get repaired. The only issue i had was a harsh downshift from second to first when coming to a stop. When i received it the first thing i noticed was the rust on the valvebody, bolts and even the color was different. I called fabian and asked him if the valvebody i got was one that was maybe repaired previously. He said no. So i installed it and the 325i wouldnt even come out of first gear. It was worse than when it first came in. I called him and told him that the car is now worse, that im having issues that i didnt have. I returnd the valvebody for him to check and he said everything on his end was fine and i needed a new transmission. I told him thats impossible i only had a harsh dowshift. Too bad so sad. He didnt want to work with me. I bought a used transmission and installed just the valvebody on the old transmission and guess what the car was now driving fine. They are crooks. I called him and told him what i had done and wanted to return the valvebody and i wanted all that i paid in shipping and he said no. He provided me with a service. He didnt care that he had made things worse or that another valvebody did fix my issue he basically told me to take a hike. Im a small shop and cant afford to deal with people like this. DO NOT SEND YOUR VALVEBODY TO SUNBELT

Called fabian a few times and he helped me in several ways. he even told me to take my car to AAMCO to get their analysis before I purchased something that might not fix my issues. I did, they wanted 2600 to take apart and replace seals and a few other things, not including cost of control module, any (hard parts) and the valve body that was my issue... I knew that if i started with them then i would end up getting a complete rebuild and electronics and valve body for about 5000. decided to replace my valve body. called him on monday and paid over phone to him (sunbelt) i had never met. (did look up shop on google earth first). got part via ups exactly 48 hours later. This could not have been any sweeter. KNOWLEDGE, TRUST, EXECUTION, THIS BUSINESS IS THE REAL DEAL and I did a lot of research on trannies and valve bodies>>> NO ONE can beat this price and product KUDOS to Fabian and any and all that made this great Ill leave another review when i install and get to drive my truck again THANKS for going above and beyond for this customerupdate: put it in day after i got it. tranny shifts like a dream. I WON ! lolUPDATE #2- It has been four months, a lot of miles, and it still drives like a dream.
