Recently dealt with this dealership. I was looking to make a purchase over the internet, from out of state and for a very specific vehicle. The sales team was quick to reach out, and Jim, the salesperson who helped me was incredibly helpful and accommodating. What a horrible experience, not only we were recommended but we sat and waited for paperwork for a total of 5 hours .We drove the car, decided on the car but after signing some papers, ready to move from one car to the new one ......THE HAD THE WRONG CAR!!!! The approval, paper-work was for a totally different car .This made my car shopping experience a non-existent . Supposedly, we were going to get a call the next day by a certain time, her we are with nothing . People is not about doing your homework, its about details, who misses a car selection by the client ? who ??? Still in shock !

What a great place to buy a car! No high pressure, a lot of yes and no answers instead of the usual dealership BS, straight up pricing. I purchased a 2020 Mercedes GLC 300 from Eric. The Mercedes was properly represented and was what I had hoped it would be. No surprises. I could not have had a better experience buying a car and I got a very fair value for my trade-in. I almost felt like I was in charge (quite an illusion Im sure!). The whole transaction from start to finish took maybe 2 hours. I would also like to give a big compliment to their finance and closing guy, AJ, who took me through to the end of the transaction. Discovery is like a big boy toy store. Lots of Corvettes and exotics plus some really nice choices of Mercedes, BMW, etc. I saw my Mercedes online and was completely surprised at what I saw in the showroom. I bought a vehicle from them two months ago and I found out the AC compressor had a leak which is a 4k repair. I was out of my vehicle for two weeks. After writing a negative review, the GM from discovery auto contacted me saying he would help pay for the rental. When I told him that the vehicle would take longer than expected to repair, he said he would only cover the first two days of the rental and wanted me to sign basically a NDA asking me not to post a negative review and that would be the only way he would pay for the rental. Do not buy from them, they are scammers in my opinion and they will leave you with a headache. If you do, ensure you buy the extended warranty!

I just bought a BMW here last night and here is my honest unbiased review.Amazing vehicles and even more amazing staff. Cars are super clean. Everyone I spoke with was very professional. I actually wanted a car at a different dealership but was turned off by their high pressure sales. I came back to Discovery Auto and am glad I did. Finance was able to beat my preapproved offer.My sales rep Andre was very knowledgeable with BMWs. He was very kind and did everything possible to make my buying experience exceptional. If any of my friends or family ever want a car I’m referring them to him.The manager I worked with, Chase, also played a big part in making this a great experience. He never tried to pressure me into anything and ensured all my needs were met. The night I bought my car, the system was down and wasn’t able to print out temp tags so I wasn’t able to drive home. In my experience, I was buying a car for the first time (the car I chose to test was the first car I had looked at). I had Craig as a salesman. My mom and uncle (a mechanic) were also there to help me choose the right car. As a first time buyer, there were a lot of check-boxes that needed to be filled in order for me to purchase the car. Craig was very accommodating, so we would be able to look in detail at the car and see if there were any problems. I test drove the car on numerous occasions throughout the 3 day period of time that I was looking at the car. Additionally, any request I made (putting the car on a lift, test driving, requesting CarFax etc.) Craig immediately worked on. He was super diligent with giving me the BEST possible experience. Furthermore, I didnt feel super pressured to buy the car, like most sales representatives would be. Craig was very straightforward with his sales pitch and really allowed me to look at the car and decide if I liked it; rather than him trying to force me to like it and ultimately purchase it. Moreover, Discovery Auto Center took into consideration the former car purchases we made from them when making a price negotiation. They were very reasonable with their pricing and I didnt feel like I was losing out by spending my money on the car they were selling to me. Additionally, everyone was super nice and helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend Discovery Auto Center to anyone looking to buy a nice car for a reasonable price. A special thanks to Craig for all the help!!!

First let me say that this has been the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Picked up a 16 F350 platinum from discovery auto, at first I was skeptical about the place because of all the “buy here pay here” looking lots in the area. But I will say I’m very happy with the purchase I’ve had the truck almost 2 weeks now. I browsed about 20+ other truck throughout the Bay Area and was blown away with customer service and the fairness, experience. Condition of the car was pristine.3. Respect your space and dont pressurize you on buying something you do not like or want4. Give good trade in value of your car.CONS1. They do not have enough staffing to cater their growing business- They do not call back, or keep you on forever hold. I called to check if they have paid off my trade in and I was never responded back.2. They lack attention to detail and product knowledge.- Forgot to add service tax to my quote and I had to shell out 1300$ in cash at the last moment.- Didnt really know anything much about the car I bought, I on the other hand had to look up features on my own3. They might hide facts so be careful- They didnt tell me till the last minute that my car had only one key with it and I have to get the other one made on my own (roughly 300 $)Having said that, they can do a lot better if they turn this family owned drama into a more professional setup.

My husband purchased a Saturn red line convertible in April 2021. Anyway we drive it home with no problems. The very night the problems started. The Chevrolet dealer told us yesterday they cant fix the car, its junk. So we payed$14,000 for the car $4,000 for repairs for junk...the car fax is a lie..buyers beware

Bought a car over the phone from them because they are in Florida and I’m in Texas. Was told it was in mint condition and they said it was that it’s on show room floor but would look it over again to confirm it was in perfect condition. Was told it was in perfect condition, detailed and full tank. Got the car and it was dirty, passenger seat didn’t work. It’s costing $2,500 to fix. Back break pads needed replacing too another $1,600. Found one noticeable ding, leafs in engine cover and a couple scratches. Got to fill in this customer doesn’t care about the condition of the car is a cell or they would do a better job at cleaning detailing and check in the car completely over before they sell it after all they do sell luxury vehicles

I have had great car buying experiences in the past and have found that the dealers ratings from actual buyers is fairly accurate. Discovery should have a five star rating hands down.I worked with Johnny Bowers and couldn’t be more satisfied with how he handled the process. He worked with me through phone and email to answer questions about the vehicle, and when I was interested in purchasing he had it held for me for longer than the standard 24/48 hours. I arrived to a vehicle that had already been prepped, I was given a fair trade amount, and completed all paperwork with zero drama or hard up-sale techniques. Upon our arrival to the lot it was very clean and well maintained. Unlike big dealership the sales person was not lurking behind a car, they let us walk around and look once we came to the front we were greeted by Andres who was very attentive, laid back and did not pressure us. Once we advised we wanted to purchased and would like to look at a few cars still we didn’t feel the pressure as you do at some car lots. From beginning to end with Andres,Enrique and the other staff it was a pleasant experience. They were very honest and forthcoming with information. I would do business again with them. 😊 Thank You!

My husband had contacted Manny Melvin about a car we were interested in seeing, and we went today. I have to say, the whole experience was absolutely wonderful! (and how often can you say that about buying any car, but especially a used car?) Manny was very nice, very knowledgeable, and very low key. After a general meet and greet conversation, we took the car for a test drive, then returned to work out the deal. We feel that we were treated very fairly on the price, then moved on to Max Isaac the finance guy. He also was very friendly and low key.
