Came in on New Years Eve to rent gear for a dive the day after New Years Day because we assumed they would be closed NYD. Employee did a great job helping us out with trying on gear and assured us that he and the owner were were coming in the next day so we said we would come back NYD to avoid an extra day of rental fees. I am writing this review while sitting in the parking lot on NYD at 1pm and they are closed. Im very disappointed they would hang us out to dry like this after being treated so well on our first visit. If you promise a customer something you should probably deliver on that promise.

Excellent dive shop.Jim, the store owner, and staff are great. They are very helpful with equipment recommendations. It is obvious they have a passion for the under water world and are eager to share their knowledge and love of diving.

I went in to buy gear for my class not knowing what to get and Jim gave me his full attention and helped me find everything I needed. He gave me a lot of options and was very knowledgeable about everything in his shop. I ended up getting a very good deal and was very comfortable with what I bought. I definitely recommend going to this shop, especially as a beginner.

Great diving experience with very experienced divers. Wish they scheduled more dives in my price range but still happy to get my certification from here. Better priced than surrounding dive shops

Great place they were really nice and really described what was needed. They showed us some pictures they took with some of there cameras to demonstrate how well of a picture it took.

I started doing business with Scuba Haven in the mid 90s. Jim and his crew are helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile for you. Great selection of gear, and reasonable prices too. Highly recommended!

Jim was my instructor as a teenager about two decades ago. They always do a good job of taking care of all our scuba related needs. I recommend my friend get his cert there recently and they did a great job and had all the equipment he needed. We go there almost every time for fills, VIPs, etc. Thanks Jim!

Scuba haven has a decent amount of gear for being such a small shop. Ive been there a handful of times but each experience has been very good, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The shop itself is a little bit hard to spot, its on the end of a strip of stores, not facing the street, so its easy to miss driving by it. If you have any questions or need gear they will be happy to help and work with you to find the right fit. Also if you get the chance, sign up for their email announcements. They sometimes have great deals on dives locally and sell things like the Epcot dive at Disney and package dives at exotics locations. I havent done the package dives but the prices seem extremely good for whats included.

I found this shop 20 years ago while going to school at USF. Knowledgeable staff, great selection are just some of the high points. When it came time to have my own kids get licensed - this is where I wanted them to get their training. I trust this shop and you can too.

Older guy was pretty rude when my friend and I went to go rent a wetsuit so we went somewhere else. We werent really familiar with how a wet suit should fit or how to put it on properly and he was irritated by that.

Super friendly and helpful staff..... gave us great information on getting started into the sport and bought what we needed the 2nd time we visited a couple of weeks later. Will definately make this our go to place for gear.
