This is a great gun shop. Went in yesterday. Met with a knowledgeable salesman. Showed me a wide selection of handguns. Ultimately bought a beautiful H&K and an asp. Met with the owner. Nice guy. Very friendly. Shared a laugh or two with him. Start to finish, including choosing a handgun, all paperwork and background check, out the door in 30 minutes. Will definitely go back.

This place is the reigning champion of all firearm stores in the greater Tampa Bay Area- believe me, Ive been to pretty much all of em… The owner Bobby is the man- he has always treated me more than fairly and with respect(despite the fact that I can be an indecisive PITA)- Nate is cooler than the other side of the pillow and so is his bro- and, to top it off, despite the fact that they stay busy and hard at work, they never make me feel anything less than welcome and are eager to stop what they are doing to help me and answer any questions I might have. The store, despite its size, is clean and laid out well with l a shockingly good selection of products that are updated and refreshed more frequently than competing businesses in the area… Even if they didn’t have the best prices around(which they do, and by a good margin) I would still continue to spend my money here and support a local shop that clearly appreciates my business and values my patronage. Thx guys!

Just picked up a FFL transfer. These guy were very friendly and knowledgeable and the whole process was fast. Plus they had the speedloader I was looking for.

I was so taken aback by the utter look of contempt and poor customer service from the owner that I was compelled to leave multiple reviews from multiple accounts (all in which display my actual name) in order to explicitly illustrate my negative experience at this establishment. Being reminded about the Ammo limit would have been nice to hear from the friendly Sales rep on the floor, and not from the Contemptuous owner at check out.

I dont expect gun shops to be Disney Land in any way, shape or form. Honestly from experience, I expect a slight bit of apprehension from the employees (and owners) of this type of work. Were dealing with firearms, not Toys R Us. But to anyone who cares to read my saga of reviews for this business, I am telling you there are better establishments who go out of their way to inform you and extensively and knowledgeably answer any questions that you might have. When I was told about the ammo limit, I had already made up my mind that I wouldnt be returning because of his smugness from the moment I walked in the door. But me being me, I decided to continue trying to brighten the interaction by jokingly asking what if I come back for another, in disguise? To which the owner dryly replied you can come back tomorrow .. I then said Oh, so one box per day!, With a smile. The owners response was another smug look at me, this time silent, as he handed me my Covid inflated priced receipt.

Bobby and his staff have always been helpful and professional. Zero complaints here.

Was able to answer all of my gun related questions and well stocked. One minus is that the driveway is a little low and if you are not careful, you could scratch the bottom of your car. Apart from that minor issue, it is a great location.

I bought probably one of the cheapest firearms they sell, and they still treated me like my business mattered to them. I know they dont control the background check, but it was probably the fastest one Ive ever had done (took like seconds.)Ill be back for sure, great shop.

Having bought all my previous firearms at Shoot Straight, this place is a breath of fresh air. Bought a Glok 17 for $150.00 less than Shoot Straight. The atmosphere is relaxed and helpful, unlike Shoot Straight. Would definitely purchase here again.

The owner has the most dismissive and rude attitude toward customers. It was an uncomfortable experience. I wouldnt recommend shopping here unless you want the feeling of being judged from the moment you walk in here. Im not sure if he is like this to every customer, but Im pretty sure he has a specific personal reason to give me the evil eye. Never shopping here again.

Called at 5:52pm December 21st. I asked if 45acp was in stock. He quickly replies after a big sigh. Yes. I ask what grain, he replies I got customers, come in person tomorrow as he abruptly hangs up. I do not mind being on a hold. I do not mind being asked to come in person. But this was the rudest firearm worker i have ever seen work a firearm store. I guess the $500 i had to blow on ammo will be spent elsewhere. By the way, $30/box is a decent price, i was literally about to ask the opening time as i was being hung up on. Do not go here. There is rude. Than there is this business. I buy $1500 of firearms monthly for fun. Guess this shop wont be somewhere i invest in my collection of 1911s and ars at.

Love to shop local instead of buying from the big stores. The is a great local shop. I was able to order online easily, fill out the paperwork in store, and pick up with no issue. I tried to get an FFL transfer done here but they wouldnt let me receive the firearm because the transfer seemed fishy. All the directions on the website were followed but they still refused to do the transfer. I guess a black man buying a gun online is too suspicious for them.

Great place. While it is a small shop he keeps the right items in stock. Owner isnt the normal pushy salesman type which is great. I was surprised at the deal he was able to give me on a gun I just ordered. I will definitely be back again.Edit: wanted to add super fast delivery. He ordered my gun Monday and I got a call it was in Wednesday around noon.

Nice little shop right on the border of Tampa and Brandon Florida. Bobby has a no nonsense approach and will not “sell” you on a product, he gives it to you straight. I did a lot of research and this shop had the best pricing around. Prefer to shop local versus the chain operations.

Decent prices. Definitely a lack of inventory.. I think this place is more of a FFL for you to order online and have it shipped to them. It is very small, ran out of a storage unit.definitely lacking customer service. LOL Im guessing the guy at the desk is the owner and when you walk in there he hardly acknowledges you. When I came in he asked me what I was looking for, then when I told him I found his store online and that I just decided to come in and browse... He put his head back down to his computer and didnt say a word.

Not the best experience buying something simple off of their site. Called multiple times to try to ask for help, associates over the phone did not seem interested in helping or willing to give information to help. Had to place order 3 times for it to go through and had to go out of my way to receive the part I ordered. Not an ideal experience hopefully they can make it up next time.

Did a transfer from Palmetto State Armory (PSA), as per R&R’s website I didn’t show up until I was notified by the store that they received my package. I waited 3 days after the store received my package, and gave the store a call since the store hadn’t contacted me. They did claim to have sent me an email, but they didn’t. Once at the store the transfer happened quickly with no problems.A couple weeks after the transfer I decided to buy some items off their website. I received an email on a Friday that my package was ready for pick up, and I waited until Monday to go get it (I worked all weekend). I went to the store at 9:30am, and the store wasn’t open (suppose to open at 9:00am). I went back around 12:00pm to try again. The store still wasn’t open. I left a voicemail asking for a call to go pick up my package since I didn’t want to keep calling, and driving 20 mins one way for my package. Never received a call, so I called again the next day. They happened to be open. I was able to get my items.I won’t be doing business here again, since I don’t like chasing down what belongs to me.

I have done a lot of business with Bobby. He has THE BEST prices for shipping and receiving of firearms in the Tampa/Brandon/Plant City area. Most definitely worth the drive. The location is not as hard to find as some would have you think, North of hwy 60 on Falkenburg.

Ive done a couple FFL transfers through R&R. By far the best transfer prices in town and always prompt in letting me know when he submits his paperwork to the dealer and when it arrives to him. Hes got a fairly small shop but has a great assortment of commonly requested items. Also, he has recently expanded so Im sure theres even more now. Check him out!

I must say I was a little taken back by the smaller gun store, but once I went and actually talked to Bobby, who was working there, I learned more about the business. We chatted about business owners etc, I have owned several small businesses. I am appreciative for his store being there, and after he expanded (yes it was smaller at one time), it has become a nice small gun store, His prices are very reasonable compared to many other actual onsite stores, and usually it is comparable or less to many online prices.(Remember most online charges you shipping). Online stores can sometimes sell for cheap, they have no overhead, actual onsite stores do, so I understand if his prices are a few bucks more, and usually I will order from him, but I have ordered from others and transferred through this store (great prices on transfers, if you did not know). Sometimes he doesnt have tons of inventory, sometimes he has a good selection. If not he can usually get something in a few days, welcome to business people, small business cant afford to have tens of thousands of dollars tied up in products that arent selling quickly. Yes he is a small store, and usually is the only one person (they have to eat lunch as well and when you get sick there is no one to watch your store, been there done that myself). He usually always returns emails to phone messages, when he can, so sometimes you have to wait to speak to him, A business tries to give all the customers attention, but you can only work one at a time. I for one am glad his store is there, and will continue to do business with him, both through his website and online. The prices are good and the conversation can be as well. If you dont know they also sell ammunition, and you can pick it up in the store (when the warehouses have ammo), his ammo prices can beat most any store (with store pickup).

Absolute joke. I called this establishment and the person I spoke with was rude, stated he didn’t have time to talk to me, and hung up on me mid-sentence. If you don’t have time to speak with customers, don’t pick up the phone!

Bobbys shop is small, but he carries quality firearms at the best prices I have found in the Tampa area or even online. Id shopped around for a Colt Night Cobra at the gun show, at local stores that claim theyll match other prices, and they claimed their cost was over $100 more than Rr&Rs - which was also lower than Budss and any online deals I found. I thought Id try R&R, Bobby was matter of fact, told me hed have it here in 2 days, called me the moment it was delivered, and I picked up my NIB Colt Night Cobra an hour later. I am very satisfied and impressed with Bobby and R&R, and I will check with him first on my future purchases. I bought my 1st gun 45 years ago when I was a young Marine. Ive bought many many guns since and I am rarely this impressed to write a review. Thanks, Bobby, till my next purchase.

Very unapologetic for not being there during business hours to receive my firearm delivery (which was on a Friday). So instead of picking up my firearm on Friday (which I had paid extra for a speedy delivery), I had to wait until after the weekend to pick it up. At least apologize for inconveniencing a customer. Seems to not care much for public relations as he was not very pleasant to speak with over the phone (very matter of fact attitude). Me: Sir, they tried to deliver the firearm Friday but they werent able to for whatever reason. Him: I wasnt here. No apologies. No explanation. How unprofessional! What a d-bag. Ill gladly pay the extra $10 or $20 bucks for the transfer elsewhere.In reply to the owners response, there were five (now there are thirteen) stellar reviews that I have given to businesses that excel in the product they provide and their customer service. Most people tend to inform about their bad experiences first. The nineteen, 1 star reviews are of companies that should not be in business... Thats including yours.

I did a transfer from Buds Gun Shop through R&R Sports. Easy peasy. I like the small shop mentality. At Shoot Straight you pay an arm and a leg for a ridiculously simple service.Here I paid only $10 for my Glock 43. I would have spent $50 at Shoot Straight. I also found they have some really good deals, that are lower than Buds so I definitely will be coming back in the future for all my purchases.
