Amazing quality of work and really nice people too. Found them via Google and gave them a call needing a 92 gallon aluminum diesel tank replaced. They were super helpful despite my lack of knowledge (I was doing this myself to save money so I had a LOT of questions). I brought in the tank, we discussed what was wrong with the way the original tank was built and installed, why their tank would be better, and how I should install it differently to prevent future problems. The tank was ready in about two weeks and was absolutely perfect. They helped me find a nearby store for the fittings I needed, spent ample time discussing how to install the tank, and were just the kindest and most trustworthy people while doing so. I installed the tank no problem using the technique Mattson explained to me. I then went and pulled up the second tank in my boat and decided to have Mattson replace it too because, even though it was still in usable condition, it was worth the money for the peace of mind that Id have a solid tank for decades and the price was reasonable. Before I committed to Mattson I also got estimates from other places and they were all pretty similar really, but I cant imagine you get the knowledge and politeness that Mattson and Robin bring to the business with their decades of experience. Cant recommend them enough for any boater in the Tampa Bay Area needing a new tank. Thank you Mattson and Robin!

CL Mattson was able to build an aluminum gas tank for my vintage automobile in less than two weeks and it came out perfect! Simply said.......amazing business!!! We look for companys locally that are family owned and were delighted when we found Mattson & Co. The quality of their work is perfection. My husband shared photos of the 100 gallon fuel tank we had made for our boat online and the comments we received about the quality of welding and professional grade was astounding. Great knowable owners, is also a Master and has great advise for your tank project. I had a custom tank made and when I put it in the boat it was a perfect fit. Wow! Called them for information on measuring transom angle for my boat to make sure the used one I was looking at would work for my application. Even knowing I was not looking into purchasing a bracket from them, they were unbelievably helpful and amazingly responsive throughout the multiple conversations it took to figure it out, because of my lack of knowledge!
