Went to Cycle Gear to buy some equipment for my sons new dirt bike and luckily met up with Mario there. I am not exaggerating when I say that Mario was the most personable and helpful sales associate that I have ever met. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient(my son and I were clueless when it came to dirt bike equipment), and helpful. He treated us like gold. He even helped my wife and I install a dirt bike rack to our vehicle out on the hot parking lot....in fact he basically did all the hard work. We look forward to making all of our future purchases with Mario and I highly recommend asking for him should you visit the Tampa store.

We went in on a Sunday and Marcus greeted us. I hadn’t ridden in 10 years so I needed a bunch of gear and was not well educated on the new trends. Marcus was super patient and friendly with us. In the end, was very excited with my new riding gear! That aside it was probably one of the best retail experiences I had and was impressed on the experience!

The personnel at Cycle Gear are awesome. They truly provided me with exceptional service with my exchange of a helmet. Zach personally handled this while training a young man to be able to handle such an exchange on his own eventually. Last week I sent in a email to cycle gear had a issue with a pair of riding pants. Was told go back to the store. First thought. Throw them away and move on. Today I went in told the guy working what was going on. Treated me like I was family and he owned the place. Said he would have no problem with helping me. This was easier then sending something back to Amazon. Satisfied customer and gave them more of my money.

Michael was awesome. The text system from the website connected me with him initially. He listened and helped me find exactly what I needed. We spoke on the phone to complete the order. When my items came in, he called me himself immediately and we set up a time to pickup. At the store, Michael made sure we were educated about our new gear. He took his time to set up the Bluetooth systems in our helmets. He had tons of advice and answers for every question. Great overall experience. Thank you Michael.

Customer service was great. Appreciate all the help and good advice. Not happy however with the selection of Frogg Togg rain jackets. The neck on these jackets was so large, anything smaller than a chicken could get past the neck area and get me soaked during a downpour. Motorcycle rain gear needs to fit tight around the neck. Somebody isnt paying attention here. The store rated 5 stars. The corporations choice of WHICH Frogg Togg items to carry: not so good.

I came here for a first time to purchase a tire and have them install it for me. I had my other 2 bikes tires installed from other local dealers near my home and both times they scratched/nicked up the rims. So I thought this is a normal thing. Cycle Gear did an amazing job, not even a small nick on the rim. This place has so much motorcycle gears that you can select it from. And to top it of, the service was outstanding. Very friendly, nice and professional employees. I knew the moment I spoke to one of the employees on the phone that I need to come and check out this place. It took me 30minutes and passing thru 5 local dealerships in my area to get to Cycle Gear, but it all worth it due to their amazing service. If you ever need motorcycle gears and great service for your motorcycle, you have to check out this place. I highly recommended.Update: 5/23/20 I drove all the way here from south Tampa to purchase a second tire. Passing at least 5 motorcycle shops on Dale Mabry along the way. I went to several motorcycle equipment dealers and it always seemed like nobody really knew their products. Did that change when I talked to Marcus at Cycle Gear in Tampa. I was looking for the differences between the ARAI brand helmets and you would think Marcus was one of the designers for the brand. He explained in detail the minute changes in models and how ARAI has several different head shape options. Needless to say I left with an order placed for an ARAI Quantum - X by the time I was finished. Excellent customer service and knowledge of products in the store. If someone from ARAI is reading this… give Marcus a sponsorship!

The store manager Michael helped us. He was polite, listened and answered our questions. Being new to the new helmets and bluetooth technology it was very confusing, but Michael walked us through it. We bought one helmet and we will be back to buy the other and the bluetooth set up. We found out from our son what brand his is so we can get the same so when Father and Son ride they can communicate with out problems.

This is a nice store specifically designed for motorcyclists they have a lot of helmets to pick from, safety gear, and accessories. They even have some basic maintenance items in the back of the store. The staff is very hopeful and very friendly period and the store was very clean. They will help you assemble anything you might need help assembling. My partner needed help putting the Bluetooth into the helmet and they had no problem helping to install it.

I went to this location to look at the helmets, jackets, boots and gloves. Tamara (I believe that was her name 🤦🏽‍♀️), she was super helpful and had excellent customer service. She took her time and explained everything about the products that I was looking at. She made sure I had the correct size helmet and jacket. I believe I took up an hour and a half of her time but she was so patient with me and my husband the whole time and answered all of our questions. She really educated me on the products and even gave me a recommendation for my bike training. I really appreciate all her help and will be returning to purchase more items. Thank Tamara

The price at Cycle Gear is comparable to nearly all non - name brand shops in the area. Cycle gear is more professional and has a warranty on tire installation, plus once its done the manager has to give it the once over before its allowed out the door.I will not allow some fly by night outfit to do my tire changes. From now on its Cycle Gear every time
