I bought a beautiful queen-size sleigh bed and mattress here. The quality is not the very top of the line, but it is a beautiful piece. I had to repair it a few times. During a period of foolish, emotional discontent I also impulsively bought a lovely but pricey (over $200) lamp here and LUCKILY found a matching one at a local resale shop for $15. Thats still an average of more than $100/lamp which I openly admit Im embarrassed about overspending. We live in Taos, not Los Angeles. But I digress, and I forgive myself. Ive changed my ways.Taos Lifestyle also carries awesome scented candles, the $4 votive kind that make your room smell fantastic even if you never light them, so thats a plus. They even feature some local artisan pieces--which I totally support!Last month, I tested every single couch there with my girlfriend. We literally laid on them, pretending we were watching Netflix. Nope. And my friend WANTED to buy a couch there. They are pretty, but not comfortable, maybe a tad pricey. Great for the waiting room of a much-needed therapist, but not for the real-life home of Taosenos with friends and family. Im not sure if it is accurate to name this store after a lifestyle that it doesnt reflect, but it is a nice store with nice things for the homes of people with a generous budget for new furniture. I respect the owner and admire her business acumen. After 20 years in Taos, my lifestyle is quite different than what I found there.

What a wonderful experience. Judy was absolutely knowlegeable about all the ins and outs of the furniture we saw and helped guide to what we feel was a great decision for us. I highly recommend them.

An outstanding selection of top tier mattresses, pillows and bedding. Quirky and fun home furnishings, as well. The small but capable sales staff could use some backup.

Full disclosure: I have known Mary, her store manager Judy and several of their employees for years. I will try to be objective. I have spent about 10k at Marys stores over the years and have no regrets. While the new Mountain Lifestyle location is more Upscale Rustic Cabins and Lodge style, the original flagship Taos Lifestyle is the perfect mix of modern and contemporary furnishings with a bit of an emphasis on the bedroom.I recently moved to Santa Fe and tried at least 10 stores over several months and nothing was as good. I ended up buying about a half a household and having them ship it down here.All of this was easy and affordable. When there WAS a problem with an electric recliner...they just got me a new one. No problem. TLs prices and service are the best in Northern New Mexico. Highly recommended.

After twelve years of nightly use, our mattress had aged poorly. I awoke most mornings with a sore back that persisted until I did my daily yoga routine. So, my wife and I went to Taos LifeStyle where Jane explained the many available options. After numerous questions and tests, we decided on a Beauty Rest hybrid, which we purchased at a very good price. Now I wake up well-rested, and my back feels fine long before I get on the yoga mat.

Great store and service with a vast assortment of furniture. We bought a mattress after delivery we weren’t happy with our selection. Our sales associate Kim helped us select another option that worked for us and arranged for the exchange. That would not happen with mattress in a box . So happy we can shop local and receive excellent service.

Best. Store. Ever! We got a BeautyRest hybrid mattress with motorized frame delivered to our house a couple weeks ago and it is AWESOME! My wife and I are sleeping WAY better now. Well be loyal customers for life!
