Bailey was amazing! This young lady is VERY educated about dive equipment and was extremely helpful. Thank you very much Bailey! The store is set up and very inviting, everything from wet suits to dive tanks. They have an amazing mask selection and even swimming trunks. They literally cover ALL of your dive, snorkeling, and swimming needs. I highly suggest that you stop in and ask for Bailey, she rocks 🤘!

The crew is absolutely incredible. This is our second time going with Art and the crew.I definitely recommend these guys. Captain Dane will put you right on the spot and make sure you’re at the best possible place for the water conditions. Art was absolutely incredible he knows where most of the cool animals are and shows you things you wouldn’t find on your own. He was able to help two people in the group who had problems so that we didn’t have to end the dive and get up safely. George who works in the shop was very knowledgeable and helped us and taught us how to properly clean our gear. They all went above an beyond. It was definitely worth getting up at four am to get their at six, barley no one was out there.

So far we have had 3 family members going through OW and Im finishing up AOW. Also bringing in one of our employees to get certified as a thank you for helping us out on a project. Plus we can then do working dive trips. Kyle is a wonderful instructor and very accommodating to our crazy schedule. Staff is great. Art and Dane on the boat. George, Bailey and Alexandria in the shop. Very knowledgeable, personable and helpful. The group made getting into the sport a lot of fun and very comfortable.

I live up in the northeast where the water is cold. I planned on getting certified last year but with covid that was put on hold. I started planning this year in January for a trip in March. I did my online and pool work where I live in February. I had my open water certification setup with another company. The day before I arrived in Florida they told me they didnt accept padi referrals. I spent the first 2 days of my trip trying to find a new dive shop. We found Narcosis Scuba Center the second day. We explained everything that happened and wanted to see if they could fit me in. With one days noticed they said theyd make it happen. I was paired up with Kyle. Couldnt ask for a better instructor to work with. Super cool guy. Easy to work with and very professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking to get certified. Just want to say thanks again to Kyle and all the staff.

Excellent staff, helpful and friendly! Extremely knowledgeable, highly recommend this store. Great first Scuba experience for my 10 year old daughter with Art and his staff who took great care to help her through her first pool dive. Kind and caring, they helped my nervous daughter feel confident and comfortable with her first lesson and introduction to Scuba.

Narcosis did a great job getting my family out for some good memories. Captain navigated the rough water keeping the bumps to a minimum. He was informative and attentive to all the divers on the boat. Art (dive master) was great telling us the best ways to get around on the wreck. Now the bad. No anchor winch on the boat. Poor Art had to pull that anchor all by himself. #saveart :)

While on a family vacation we decided to go Snorkeling. We were taken to Devil’s den to snorkel and Art & Sandra were so nice to work with. They made sure we had all the gear we needed, brought fish food so we were guaranteed to experience the fish and even provided water and snacks for after. I would definitely recommend Narcosis Scuba Center.

Im new at diving and Steve was very helpful in guiding me through my options and choices. Made the experience fun. Went in yesterday with some basic beginner questions and the two divers in there. Kyle and (Marc) ? were the best!! They were informative, enthusiastic and inspiring!Cant wait to go down under!

We were looking for a new dive shop and happen to come into narcosis, I bought $114.00 worth of items, one being a pair of swim shorts. I couldnt try them on because of covid so I brought them home to try on, but they did not fit. I took them back the next day for a return, all of the employees are fairly new so they didnt know how to do a return and called the owner. She walked them through how to do it over the phone but something went wrong and the pin they needed was sent to her email and they couldnt do it and she was apparently busy at the time out side of the store. They asked me to come back in a few days when she could help, so I came back a week later. They then told me that they cant do any returns and that I had to do store credit...even though they were already trying to get me a return.Honestly, I think that the owner had no idea how to do the return and panicked and just said no returns, basically, you have to spend your money at my store.It was very frustrating to be told one thing one week and another the next.Figure out your computer system and relinquish a bit of control onto your employees. Or put up a sign that says no returns. Very unprofessional and I felt annoyed that I had to spend 60.00 on some other product of theirs instead of getting my money back.

Never have I ever had such a welcoming and embracing introduction to some amazing people. I walked into that store with a mission and the family there had made it such a humorous endeavor. Narcosis has won my business for life. Made my day so much I wrote my first review! 😂

I got certified with Narcosis back in March and had a great time! Steve was incredibly patient as I struggled with a couple of skills and made sure that I got the most out of my four training open water dives. Would highly recommend!

This crew did a great job and kept everyone safe at the dive sites. The first site was a bit rough the visibility was impeded by all the fish. They made sure we could see lots of marine life

I can be more happy with Narcosis Scuba Center, I did my Nitrox Class with Divemaster Steven Salib from Narcosis Scuba Center, it was the most professional treatment in all aspect from him and all the staff from Narcosis. The made this class to feel simple and easy to understand form the beginning to the end. Best place to do anything related to Scuba Dive and specially the scuba dive charter. Special thanks to Steven Salib, for his professionalism and good customer services, he make you feel like he know you all your life.

Steve Summers (one of the instructors) was really competent and patient adding a ton of good info helpful for safe and comfortable diving. The whole operation was tight along with each crew member on our boat dive. My 16-yr old son and I finished our open water certification with Narcosis and we had a great learning experience.

The staff and instructors here are awesome, lots of specials and clearance. Definitely coming back next time I need something in Florida.

I took semi-private open water scuba dive lessons with my girlfriend through Narcosis and they were absolutely incredible. If you plan to take classes here, ask for Steve, hes the man. He took the time to walk us through all the skills and had a risk-based approach to his instruction, which really helped us when we went solo diving for our first trip. Overall great experience!

I just did a refresher course with Stephen after a 4 year hiatus from diving. I’ve done a refresher course in the past else where but, this was way better. He was a great person to be around and learn from. He also went above and beyond what was necessary to ensure I was comfortable getting back in the water. I would higher recommend going with him and can’t wait to be back under the water with them soon.

Never come to this place they sold me diving tickets for a tour that never existed And I was in the place waiting at 5a.m. The place was closed plus they never mentioned I needed a license before selling me the tickets and latter they didn’t wanted to give a refund when I never took the tour and it was their fault.

I have been on 2 dives with Narcosis. The crew remembered who I was even after the month between dives. That made me feel very special and welcome. Dives were great and expertise was great as well.

False advertising and less than friendly staff. They claim that the captain talks to the guests on board at departure to determine dive locations based on what charter guests want to dive, but instead the captain took us to his “secret coordinates” which was a plain ledge with nothing out of the ordinary that would make sure he could get back to the dock as fast as possible for his next charter. Very stuffy/no fun vibe on the boat. Equipment rental was more expensive than competitors in the area and the equipment return process was a pain and the young guy in charge of equipment return was flat out rude. We felt like unwelcome strangers when trying to shop in the store afterwards. Go spend less money and have a better time with Tanks-A-lot or 2 Shea where they make you feel like they’re actually happy that you are giving them your business.

My 13 year daughter and I just completed our scuba certification with Steven. He was fantastic! He is so knowledgeable and made us feel so comfortable in every step. Would 110% recommended. Every single employee we had the pleasure of meeting is so friendly and helpful 😄

I had a great time diving with these guys over the weekend. Pete, Mu and Captain Mike were personable and very helpful. Got to see a ton of marine life. I highly recommend these guys and hope that I can use them again soon.

This was not a great dive trip and it was a result of the crew. We had to wait almost an hour on the dock waiting for the other dive to return. The crew did not provide a proper dive briefing of the area to adequately prepare divers to the area, so we missed most of the ledge and spent most of the time looking at sand. My dive buddy got sea sick, but they kept shoving a camera in her face to build their own marketing video. We didnt feel like the crew actually wanted to make our dive memorable or took our safety seriously. Overall, in comparison to the other 100+ dives I have this was one of the worst experiences.

Staff was fully prepared & on hand for anything at all. Making the dive experience all the better. I would definitely recommend anyone to come on out and enjoy all the beauty the sea has to offer!

Justin and the entire crew at Narcosis are top notch! Highly recommend. Justin was terrific and extremely patient helping students work through their fears into becoming capable open water divers. Safety was always the priority and these folks are passionate about what they do. Mustufa and dive masters Shawn and Brandon joined us and were exceptional. There is great comfort being in the presence of such professionals. If you are on the fence about doing scuba, maybe have concerns (or doubts from an old injury like I had) or something else, stop in and ask anyway. Our final qualification dives were right in the Gulf and I was amazed with the amount of life I saw. I got to see Goliath groupers up close and now Im wondering how soon I can get back out there. I only wish I did this sooner. Better late than never. Thank you, Narcosis Scuba!

The owner Joyce is an amazing person who truly cares about her customers/students and it shows.We just did a discover scuba class and Art was our instructor. What a great time we had and an awesome education. He was patient and a great teacher. We felt so comfortable and safe! Staff is super cool and theyve got great spots for spearfishing. They will help you get into the water or you can take off and do your own thing, so appropriate for all levels of divers. I had a lot of fun with them and they put us on fish, so wake up early and go make friends.

It’s 1:20 pm on FridayTook the guy at the front desk 7min to do one transaction because he didn’t know how to use his own system or do math. He literally tried to ring up the item 4 times and couldn’t figure it out. I had to tell him to ask for help because he was doing the same mistake over and over again expecting a different result. There is a term for that. And he tried charging me $2.65 in tax on a sticker that had a tax amount of .55 cents ? Where do you find these guys lol?7 min to buy one nitrox sticker lolEvery time I come here it’s ridiculous.

My 16-year-old son did his four open water check-out dives while we were on vacation in Florida with Narcosis Scuba Center. His instructor was John. John was truly amazing! One of the nicest, most patient people I have ever met. The other student diving with my son was a mom with two kids – she was very nervous and asked a lot of questions during the two days. John was so patient with her. He never became frustrated. My son had a difficult time equalizing (prone to sinus infections and allergies). John never gave up on him. He tried numerous techniques until he found the right one that worked for him. It took several hours to find the right technique, but that didn’t matter to John, he truly wanted to help my son be able to complete this certification and start his diving journey. I just can’t say enough about John. Narcosis Scuba Center staff were also fantastic. It was a really great experience.

I had the best experience dealing with the staff at Narcosis Scuba, renting gear and Captain Joyce was the greatest owner of a Dive Shop ever, so educated and knowledgable and more than anything friendly. My Dive buddy and I dove The Circle of Heroes and it was breathtaking and so symbolic. Cant wait to go again. Cheers to you all!

My son and I are new OWDs from Georgia. We chose Narcosis based on reviews that we read and made the trip to Tarpon Springs for my birthday. We were met at the shop the morning of the dive by Mu and he fitted us for gear and made a few size changes that i had requested over the phone. We were pleased when we found out that Mu was going to be our dive master for the day. Short drive to the marina where we were helped to the boat with our gear. About an hours ride to the first dive site where Mu and Shawn help check over our gear before we entered the water. Once in the water, Capt Mike had put us on the perfect dive site, about 40 of water with plenty of fish, sponges, and interesting sea life. We got back on the boat where refreshments and snacks were waiting on us and Mu went over some buoyancy issues to help me out. Second dive was better than the first. Hopped back on the boat for the ride back to the docks. The crew unloaded our gear for us onto the docks. We dropped our rental back at the dive shop, got our log books stamped and headed out with some awesome memories. I highly recommend that if youre around Tarpon Springs, you give them a try.

The Narcosis Scuba Center crew made my first Gulf dive very enjoyable. Captain Mike found two really cool dive sites for me and my family to explore and then kept us safe by keeping a watchful eye out for conditions that might change. He also kept track of the diver bubbles and knew where we were at all times. Everything was explained fully by our Dive Master, Jim, and Shawn so there were no questions about what to expect. Both Jim and Shawn were very helpful assisting us as we prepared to dive. Jim spent extra time with me as I was apprehensive and stayed with me throughout the dive. As we descended to depth there were so many fish they had to make an opening for us to go through. We saw Goliath Groupers and very large Angelfish. On the second dive the family found a huge Conch shell and saw lots of other types of crabs and fish. If you are looking for a crew to hire this crew is a must. Very friendly, Very efficient!

Truly exceptional service, everything on time, prices reasonable, and the diving was great. The rental equipment I used was in great condition and a joy to use. Very kind staff who were happy to work my group of very diverse skill level divers. Even with not great weather, they were able to get us onto some pretty ledges with good visibility. Well be back!

My son (11) recently took the Junior Open Water certification program with Narcosis Scuba. I was there to watch much of the instruction process. The team at Narcosis were nothing short of excellent and I cannot recommend them enough. It was really special to watch them build my sons skills and confidence and the individual care and focus they give to each student. Both Mustufa and Jim were absolutely fantastic instructors and we could not be more pleased with the course.

I went on a 2-tank dive trip with Narcosis today and it was great. The parking and loading situation is one of the best I have seen. The crew loaded everyones gear and made us feel at home on the boat. The dive sites were nice and I was able to shoot a couple fish. I cant wait to dive with them again! Whether you are spearfishing or just pleasure diving I would highly recommend them.

Nice place. Good selection of equipment. Went in to look at spear guns. They had quite a few. A bit pricey compared to others we had seen.Have scuba classes and excursions that you can attend. Spear fishing trips are around $100 per trip and they need three people.

We had the best time with Narcosis! This was our first dive after getting certified and our first dive in the Gulf! We loved the guys at Narcosis. They took such wonderful care of us and were very patient. I even freaked out a little at the beginning of my first dive and one of the certified dive masters calmed me down and stayed with me. After that I had the best time. They took us to the Veterans Reef where the 3 barges are and then to the Masthead Ledge for our second. Both were amazing!!!!!! I can’t wait to go back and we’ll be visiting them again VERY soon!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Me and a couple friends drove down Friday night from Jacksonville, our originally scheduled charter with a different company got cancelled at the last minute so I was able to book with Narcosis Scuba on short notice. We dove with Narcosis Scuba yesterday and we had an awesome time, the captain, crew, and the staff in the shop did a great job making sure we had a great dive day. We will definitely book with them next time we are in the area. The staff and crew of the boat are very friendly and knowledgeable our overall experience was A+.

I traveled 3 hours one direction and returned driving another 3 hours after waiting for an hour plus, to no avail.Yes, I was comp the dive (did not accept), yes I was offered money refunded, what is left? Narrcosis Dive Shop lack of honesty, integrity, sincerity, and lack of overall business sense. How does one trust blindly a promise?..YOU DONT! Awesome Experience. Just recently completed my PADI Open Water Certification with Mustufa. He is an excellent instructor who is knowledgeable, patient, and was able to calm a classmate who had major anxiety clearing her mask and performing under water techniques that caused severe panic attacks. I honestly didnt think this person would be able to stop panicking, but his demeanor is calming and he was able to talk her through the fears and she was able to overcome them. It was great to see her finish the class. I will be advancing my certifications and will definitely use Mu as my instructor!

My brother and I had an amazing experience and a fun dive. The Narcosis Scuba Center has that family run and personable feel to it, while being very informative and helpful. Captain Mike and his crew, Steve and Mustafa, were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They took us to two great dive spots, making sure we saw lots of fish and other underwater life. My brother had just been certified and it has been many years since my last dive. They provided us with great guidance and were a huge help for two divers in our situations. Id recommend this dive shop and charter for divers of all ages, experience and interests. Just went to finish my Open Water Certification with my instructor Steve. He was very friendly and a very nice guy. He truly cares when we went out in the bay on a boating trip, when the condition were too rough for me and I didn’t want to dive. He didn’t pressure me nor try and persuade me in. He was very helpful and an awesome instructor. We rescheduled for the next day to finish it and met at a Quarry type place called the Hudson Grotto. I again felt uncomfortable with the water visibility of 15 which was more of a personal thing, and proceeded not to dive again. He felt truly guilty and asked if he could have done anything better. He was a very nice and thoughtful guy and I definetly recommend this dive shop if you are looking to earn your open water certification, or just looking to go for a fun boat dive! Another instructor who was very humorous and very helpful was akin, who also didn’t try and pressure me or persuade me into anything I didn’t want to do. The next time I’m back in Florida and looking to dive, Narcosis Scuba will be the place to go

Went on my first ocean dive with the crew from Narcosis dive shop and Im impressed. The divemaster Joe was amazing. He knew it was my first time and made sure I understood how things worked out in the ocean. He then pointed out different fish and points of interest at the wrecks we dove. Next time Im in the area Im definitely going back out with them.

Just went in there for a weight belt. The two guys in there were very helpful.

We went out into the Gulf with Narcosis this last Saturday and had an absolute blast. The entire staff is friendly and professional—we particularly liked John and Mustafa, with whom we were able to work while on the boat. Moreover, we liked that Narcosis is a family-owned business; Joyce does a wonderful job running the place, and we look forward to going back for more dives with the Narcosis team.

Brought in a tank for VIP and hydro, they had it for 2 weeks, and it just sat there. They didnt send it out, update me or have any idea what was going on or why. Seems to be run pretty incompetently. When I went to take the tank somewhere else they tried to give me store credit??? Had to call the owner multiple times to figure out what to do. I would strongly suggest anyone to go elsewhere.

Great dive shop! If you want to go diving in the Tampa area, Narcosis Scuba has the best diving and spearfishing charters in the Gulf of Mexico. The boat is located at the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs. They are the only dive shop in the area that has their own dive boat so they have the best sites and dont go to the same public spots over and over like most of the others. They have the best Instructors, Divemasters, and a Captain that can put you on the fish! My go to spearfishing charter. I always bring home lots of fish.

Had a great time! The dive master, Mustafa, was very attentive to our needs and safety as well as being informative. He made me feel safe!!!! Brought a few items after we got back and one of the divers who works with narcosis gave me a deal on the items which I think was awesome!

This dive company is great. We had to change our dive plans last minute due to weather issues and they were extremely accommodating and made sure we had the best dive given the conditions. We also had an emergency underwater and our dive master was prepared for the situation. He likely saved us from what could’ve been a horrible situation. 5 stars.

Narcosis Scuba are highly considerate and understanding to their customers. Due to Hurricane Irma - most people postponed their class to November - however, I have a trip already scheduled in mid-October that I needed my certification before the trip. They were very understanding in cancelling my class (they needed a minimum number to go on with the course) and gave me a full refund!!! Even offered for a discounted private lesson course. Mustafa was great - he made sure everything went smoothly even while I was getting frustrated. Thank you Narcosis Scuba!!!!

It was a lot fun and the first gulf dive since I moved here. Captain abd the crew were great and make you fill like you known them the whole time. It was nice to go on a charter that wasnt loaded to the gills with 30 people like I have done before on other dive boats which makes for in my opinion a much better experience. Highly recommended. The earlier your ready the better the spots. Just a all around great time for me abd my girlfriend. Will be going back for sure especially with summer around the corner

Just finished obtaining my open water certification and I could not be more pleased with the class. Mustafa was the primary instructor, but all of the staff were exceptional. When I could not get certain items, Craig spent more than a few hours working with me until I got it. I only saw professionalism and expertise in knowledge. At no time did I feel unsafe or concerned with the quality of the training I received. If I had any recommendations it would be a larger classroom. Great Job guys and thanks for this opportunity into a new world.

Amazing all around experience, my instructor Mustafa was very nice and professional and made the experience that much better. Would highly recommend to everyone I know.

I did my PADI open water here and it was AMAZING. I opted for a private instructor and did all my course with Mustafa who I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! His flexibility was incredible and I was able to complete everything in three days. But most importantly, the instruction was perfect. He’s an excellent teacher and was super attentive to making sure I captured all the information I needed to learn. After the course, it was clear what it means when people say the instructor can make or break the course and Mustafa really makes it. If you’re looking to learn scuba, this is the place!

My wife rented tanks and a B/C from this shop. The employees were friendly and helpful but the owner was rude and displayed extremely poor customer service. When my wife walked in to the store and employee greeted her and asked her what she needed. The owner came out and told the employee not to greet customers like that and that he was busy and my wife would have to wait. The owner then proceeded to talk on the phone to her husband for at least ten minutes making my wife wait. The tanks were filled properly but the B/C leaked. Not sure how this owner stays in business with this poor of customer service.

I bought a 223 power head from them to use on sharks. The darn thing did not work at all. I reversed the credit card charge, and had a friend of mine return their merchandise to them because it was a weekend and they were closed. They accepted it. They gave him a receipt. Then, they disputed my dispute with the credit card company. Because I didnt get the letter from my credit card company, Im out of a luck. They stated in their reply that I had damaged the merchandise and I still had it. This way, they ended up with both my money, and their merchandise, that they can sell again. They also said that I cursed and screamed at the sales girl. Another lie, I never spoke to them at all. My friend spoke to them and he did not curse, nor scream. These people are absolute crooks! Do not do business with them! They are not honest people. These people are not to be trusted, with your money, or your life! I would give them a zero if I could.

We had a wonderful time with Narcosis this weekend getting our Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certifications! Mustufa and Jim were both attentive, kind and extremely helpful. We will be making Narcosis our go-to dive shop for the future, thats without a doubt! Thank you, Mustufa, for getting me through one of my toughest dives yet and conquering my fears!

Change the hours! If the store is not open till 7 then change it. More than once have I tried to get my tank filled but closed before 6pm but hours say 7pm?

Had a great time getting my AOW/Nitrox certifications with Narcosis! Mustufa was an incredible instructor, teaching me tips that I will carry with me for the rest of my diving future. Mustafa and Jim created a comfortable learning environment that made it easy and enjoyable to sharpen our skills. They were very accommodating to our busy schedules. I will definitely be back to dive with the Narcosis team.

This place is like family. Safety on dive trips is paramount. It’s a pleasure to be the Dive Master for Narcosis and I look forward to the future underwater.

My brother recommended Narcosis to me and a buddy for our scuba certification. We went with the Open Water 3 Day course and it was 100% worth it. By far the best part of the Narcosis experience was the staff! Mustufa (aka Mu) Harianawala was our instructor/dive master, and I can’t say enough great things about him! He took the time to review sections of the PADI course that we had issues with (aka the dive tables) and showed us different ways to get the same results. This shows Mu’s deep understanding and knowledge of scuba. He was diligent in his training and if we struggled with an exercise/skill, he would work with us until we mastered it. Mu actually cares and wants to ensure his students are comfortable and prepared. He is a true dive master.Because of Mu’s training and experience I gained with the entire Narcosis team (Craig also was a huge help and very friendly). I am confident in my abilities to dive in any condition that I am certified for. Mu also took the time to fit us with the correct gear, which we purchased from Narcosis at a very competitive price (actually, Narcosis beat all online prices and we got to try everything on).Thank you Narcosis and thank you Mu! I am looking forward to a lifetime of diving…wish I would have done it years ago! SCUBA LIFE!

My husband and I visited this store for the first time yesterday (Wednesday, August 8, 2018) and let me tell you how awesome Arrianna is. She is so knowledgable. My husband was thinking that he needed new fins, but come to find out the ones he has are fine (we took them with us to compare). She explained the differences in uses: scuba, free diving, snorkling, etc. We snorkel and the ones he has will work perfectly. He also needed a mask and Arrianna was once again so helpful. It was so nice to have someone walk us through the different options that are available and to have the patience to tell us about them. We will definitely refer others to your shop and we will return for our snorkling needs. Thank you, Arrianna for great service!!
