Always have what I need. The finest friendliest staff youll ever know. Its truly the local hardware store. Kind of like being in Mayberry! Also, especially to get in and out quickly.

This Ace Hardware takes the company motto about the place with the helpful hardware folks very seriously. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They almost always have what I need, and usually will, bearing in mind the size of the store, meaning theyre not going to have massive amounts of lumber or other bulky items. The store is always clean and well stocked. Their hours are whats expected, but just note that they are not open on Sundays.

The people in Ace are the Best.No matter what Ive been in there for in the last 3 years they have been quick to help me find it. From screws to. the rubber seals for jars. Love them. THANK YOU ACE!

This location made me a convert to the Ace Hardware model of business. Superlative customer service with floor staff and cashiers who are kind and filled with common sense and experience. Excellent variety of stock with hardware, garden, and pool supplies. Great coupons and rewards program. I left the big box stores behind (with their high employee turnover and unreliable help) a year ago and havent looked back.

I love ace hardware they have all the hard too find tools and accessories. And if they dont have it theyll get it plus they are always friendly and knowledgeable.

Not as friendly as it used to be. Specifically cashiers!There is also a guy there that really needs to be retrained on propane procedure. I have 3 bottles that I rotate and usually get one filled every six weeks. He has had problems twice with one of my tanks. No one else has an issue. If I continue to get tanks filled at your location I will not allow him to do it! He has no idea what he is doing and then will come up with ridiculous explanations. Today I had a one year old tank and he took plyers to it as well as banged it very hard on concrete before I could tell him to disconnect and start over because he wasnt doing it right!Not happy!

The staff here are always helpful and nice. The store is a little tight and narrow. Today when we were in the electrical area there were a lot of items that werent in the correct bins that was a little hard to find the electrical box piece that we wanted. We found at least seven or eight items that were all mixed up and sometimes in completely different rows.

I went there to get my A/C filter, I was surprised to see how much cheaper it was than other stores. I brought Sparky with me,Its fun to go in a store that allows pets. I like this store because it is close to where I live, and when I need something that I cant find anywhere else I usually find it here.

This is the place to go if you need a replacement or extra key/fob for your car. I needed a 2nd key fob for my Escape and was able to get one at this Ace for $200, including the programming. This would have cost over $500 at the Ford dealer, so I just saved significantly. I worked with Gary, who did a great job, even overcoming a faulty replacement key and ensuring the next one had been bench tested first. Great service, very helpful and knowledgeable folks here.

Stopped by today to pick up some hardware, a staff member who was sweeping the floor stopped what they were doing to assist me with finding just what I needed. Only reason for two Star is that they had what i wanted and was closer than anywhere else.....moved here from a BIG CITY and ALWAYS got excellent service from ACE while there....come to Tavares Ace and its like WTF !!!... Employees stand 3 feet from you as you search for something never asking if you need help.... (yes i know how to ask...and can,but is that what to do ?) several employees chit chatting with each other while customers roam searching . Very cold and absolutely NO acknowledgment when entering....and registers right at entrance.... Very sad place..... All the high ratings must be friends and employees. This seems to be the weekend norm at least..been many times and its always been my experience

Typical regular hardware store with the regular selection that most smaller hardware stores have to offer. Closest hardware store to me so its convenient sometimes, however they are a tad bit pricier than the big home improvement stores. Hate the fact that theyre closed Sundays, but the staff is friendly and very helpful when they are open. They do cut keys here, including chip keys for cars, and they also sell propane/fill tanks at this location as well, and the propane is not pricey but rather cheap to fill a tank if you bring your own empty tank.
