I do almost all of my shopping at Publix so I base all other shopping experiences from that. This Winn Dixie location seems to be pretty good and well stocked. Ive generally had a good experience whenever I go.

Its one of the nicer when Dixies has a lot of variety and I definitely like the employees there they will actually walk you to the item if you cant find it very nice and very clean

Winn-Dixie used to be the only grocery store Id go to, but it seems to be going down. Many of the cashiers are less then friendly, the general feel seems to be getting old and a bit dirty.

Nice store and usually have good prices on many products. Their steaks are some of the best to be found in the area.

Not familiar with this store. Stopped there to look for a deli tray with fruits/cheese. Didnt find one made up. Meat counter and lots of packages of stuff, but nothing prepared, so I was disappointed. Good for general groceries, though, so cant knock it. And I didnt ask for assistance - just expected to find it on a perimeter area, and didnt.

Clean with reasonable prices and good deals but expect to spend a lot with all of those beautiful deals, never really had to wait long in line either.

Best pharmacy and pharmacy folks. They are so involved to make sure you have the right medication and how to use them. This is the friendliest group of pharmacists and a delight to see.

They have self checkout amazing. You can buy 5 gallon water jug.

Since being in the FL area I go to certain grocery stores for certain products. Winn-Dixie hands down has the best meat, great prices, and some other in house made products. To name a few I love this dip for tortilla chips, tortilla chips in the clear bag by the deli, homemade rolls, and their fried products. I always find great deals on great products when shopping 🛍 here.

Clean and well stocked. Knowledgeable me and courteous staff.

Cashier didnt acknowledge us. Was more involved talking with bag boy and chatting about other employees. Bag boy was friendly and greeted us. Made eye contact when spoken to unlike the cashier. After he was done bagging the groceries, I told him thank you very much and he said your very welcome with a smile.Only thing she asked was if we had a rewards card. After the transaction, I said, with a smile, Thank you and have a great day. Got nothing from her, no response. She just continued gossiping...

Prices are to high other than that your a great store to shop in and your employees are awesome. Always clean and helpful.

Store is okay but the pharmacy is lousy. People that work in the pharmacy are rude and dont seem to like their jobs, including the pharmacist. Amazons pharmacy is going to put places like this out of business. They also keep the shutters mostly closed cause they just dont give a damn.

Worst customer service at their pharmacy, the female is very rude, they promised to let me know when my pills would be ready, I waited two months and never heard from them, I went in person she said they didnt have the pills in stock, I said I been waiting two months then she miraculousy found it and finally gave it to me, after that bad experience I called for another prescription they ignored the call, I called a second time and a rude female said that the female pharmacist assistant was busy giving a shot, they definitely need to learn customer service skills, I went to the one located at eustis and it was an excellent experience. I wont be back to the tavares winn Dixie pharmacy thats for sure.

I cant remember the last time I went into any grocery store of any kind and had such a pleasant experience every single employee I came across had a smile greeted me said hi asked if there was anything they could help me with even down to the managers it was so nice and I came into the store really tired and not in the best mood and when I left I was in a really good mood because it was just so nice to see so many nice people it was really truly a great experience I must have came across at least 10 employees who were super nice even if I didnt ask them for anything just walking by me they asked how I was doing if they could help me

I have been shopping at Winn Dixie for over 34 years and I know I will continue to. The prices are good and you can save a lot of money if you use their coupons and their points system.

My wife and I had a situation where we were shopping in the frozen food aisle on Saturday morning. We couldn’t shop in peace because we were being followed inch but inch down the aisle by the guy riding the floor cleaner. He didn’t seem to care how rude he was being by not giving us any space or choosing a different aisle to go down. I don’t understand the thought process that puts the floor cleaner above the shoppers that are keeping you in business.

Beautiful historic church. Its special needs private school is a terrific mission.

Win dixie always has a great selection of food... Their fault deals are awesome and the store is very easy to navigate with wide aisles. Theyre Mediterranean olive salad bar is fantastic for that something different and their chicken out pies made fresh are incredible at $5 for a heavy stuffed pie. . Love shopping here as their staff are super friendly.... Highly recommend

Consistently, cleanliness and lighting are still a problem.Lately stocking fell behind Publix and usually does anyway. Of late covid is a big factor I m sure.In some ways, like WD Angus, WD is far superior to Publix. The farmers home meat brand is hit or miss on quality.In all not all stores are the same. Some stores are great with presentation.WD is cleaning Publixs clock in produce. Non price but presentation.

Surprisingly nice inside. Lots of great deals and options. The sure itself is great. Staff can be helpful, some arent. I stood at the meat counter for ten minutes while 3 people could see me they the glass, 1 cutting meat, one sorting, one putting stuff on racks, all three occasionally looking up at me but not coming to the counter. I wish there rest of the outside was as nice, but its kinda run down outside. Then the outside is topped off with a checkers, which I think if we are honest we can all acknowledge are known for being a little rough. Kinda like a negative cake topper.

We had a great experience at Winn Dixie. The store was super clean, the aisles were uncluttered and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Tavares, Florida Winn Dixie location.Also, Colin did a great job checking us out at the register and the prices were very competitive.

What can I say its a grocery store!! Some days the service is better then other days it really depends on who cashes you put, if you get aemployee with a little bit of age on them then usually the service is amazing, however if you get a younger 16+ year old well then not so much! But they too have to learn the ropes out in the work field so with a little patience I am sure you will have a decent enough experience at the Tavares Winn Dixie!😉

There is something ways going on at Winn Dixie. This is where you go just to chill kind of like the pre plandemic years. Their steak is almost always on sale. It is usually a finer cut of meat and much tastier than other stores. While it is has a inspected, it isnt always had a graded. It isnt always American beef either. It is always at a great price tho. Its a great store for a little bit of anything. Other thatn their meat prices and some random sale prices, things can be pretty pricey. Lines are usually pretty quick.

Purchased meat on sale. The meat was tough after cooked and completly not edible. I found rotten ham meat passed the sake by date in the DW fridge. Go to publix

I was surprised. This store has everything. Meat is fresh. Better quality than most meat market around. Prices are very decent. Worth every minute that were shopping.
