I have nothing bad to say about my experience here it was amazing ! They got me in and out so quick and was very helpful ! I had plastic pieces popped out due to hitting a raccoon and they popped everything back into place like nothing happened ! Will definitely go back here again ! Very nice people and friendly !

We have used Premium Auto in Taylor for years as our ONLY vehicle maintenance shop and have always been impressed with their work. However, yesterday they raised the bar even more. My husband, Dave Bogan, brought our F-350 dually to get the oil changed (had an appt @ 2:30). While they were changing the oil they checked the brakes and took a photo and showed him our front brakes were almost completely gone! The mechanic even said he didn’t trust the truck’s ability to safely get back to where we currently live, over an hour away. They said their schedule was booked yesterday afternoon but could do it today. My husband explained that we were to leave this morning on a week’s vacation in our truck (with reservations already made). They asked their crew and someone volunteered to get it done yesterday! YAY for them!!!

They earned my trust. They do great work. Great prices. Great customer service. Very transparent when it comes to describing your auto issues and what they need to do to fix them. Got the job done pretty quick too. Going back and telling friends.

Took my car there to get evaluated and was told it was acually nothing wrong. He had me talk to his helper and explain what i thought the matter was. .off and on the problem still persosts to this day . thanks for nothing

Called and spoke with Eric I believe, talked about a break job with parts supplied by myself and some cleaner and what that would run me and how long. Showed up the next morning parts in hand dropped off the ride and it was ready for pick up by 4pm, would have been sooner but there was a slight issue with the lugs and needed to be replaced, so I had to run the dealership thanks to a good friend and was able to get a whole set within minutes. Point of the review is to acknowledge how beneficial having a shop so close to home and a shop that allows you to provide you own parts is truly amazing and these guys really do great work at a great price. Can’t get this type of service in the city, only the high rates and long waits for them folks.

Im VERY impressed. Theyre professional and inexpensive. The dealership had installed the wrong stabilizer bar bushings and then couldnt seem to figure out why my car creaked and made noises when steering. Within an hour the mechanic at Premium Automotive figured it out. He repaired it by replacing the bushings with the correct ones and my car is now noise free and rides great. Great work guys.

Friendly and nice

They fixed the problem of my car. However, the service manager was not completely honest and forthcoming as to exactly what the problem was and wanted to charge a lot more money originally to solve the problem than what was actually needed. So l encourage customers to beware.

We had good service with with this shop in the past but after a visit approximately a month and a half ago, never going to this shop again. We asked them to diagnose a rattling noise in our older Toyota and they already had to charge the battery. Got a call saying the car needed a new engine and gave an estimate for $4,000+ for a used engine plus labor. They claimed this was why the check engine light was on for p0300 misfire code. They charged us $198 which is 2 diagnostic fees. Had a mechanic recently look at the car and the car was really low on oil. Once oil was added, the car started running and sounding much better. Highly advise everyone to not take your car to this shop.

I cant say enough good things about these folks. After almost getting bankrupted by the local authorized service department, I took my car here.Not only did they get to it that same day, the repairs the authorized service department quoted me were completely unnecessary. I got out in an hour and fire a fraction of the price the dealership quoted me. I am a customer for life.

I’m a mechanic for heavy equipment myself so I do 99% of my own repairs but if there’s something I need done and I just can’t figure out an issue, or just simply don’t want to do the repair, these are the only guys I trust.

I went to there like 5 times, always they did a fast test and nice customer service and clean rest area.Fully recommend this place.Today 1/21/19 I went again and the front desk lady says that I need a actual insurance, cause my card show expired, I says it that same policy number just you want to call them...she says U CALL THEM.The place are empty...she dont want to work on it?...

Premium Automotive was my go to for repairs I was unable to do myself, until my last 2 visits.The first visit was for a vacuum leak. That cost me well over $1,500 bucks.The very next day, I noticed a small leak coming from my transmission. I took it in to have it serviced, and was told the pump and seals needed to be replaced.$2,500 for this repair, but the transmission wasnt fixed. I had no second gear, so I took it back the next day. I was told it should be a quick fix.Almost 2 weeks later, 2 transmission pumps, and finally getting the CORRECT pump installed, I had my truck back, but now myA/C wasnt working properly.I cant confirm nor deny that they were altering or breaking things to get me to come back for more servicing on my truck, but 3 separate issues in a 2 week span is a little more than coincidence.

Took my truck in to have it serviced under an extended warranty. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to look at the truck the next morning and installed the parts right away.After driving the truck for a day, I noticed an issue. I took it back to them and they immediately took a look, diagnosed and rectified the issue. The issue was actually a part that was damaged during installation, which is not ideal, but they took the time to bring me out to the shop and show me what had happened. They took responsibility for and fixed the issue, no questions asked and had me back on the road the same day.You cant ask for anything better than an honest person or business. I would recommend them for any automotive needs.

Fast, Friendly, Dependable

I have brought my car to them twice and had my inspection there and I was very pleased with my services. Both times I needed operation problems fixed and they did what needed to be done and got it fixed. I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs their vehicle fixed.

I would not recommend this automotive shop. These people are not here for the consumer at all! I do not understand why the clerk would let me pay for my $629 vehicle service before my car was even touched. Some would say its a consumers fault for allowing payment, but the auto shop clerk shouldve been looking out for a consumer and mentioned, we have not gotten around to your car yet, we will accept payment once it is complete & ready to go. There were multiple things wrong with my visit from lack of communication to unprofessional conduct. The technician did not want to hear me out and mediate my issues and immediately opted for do you want a refund? I would like the situation mediated, not back out and waste more time finding someone in town that will do a better job. I have taken my care here before and they did a great job (I even mentioned this to them twice!), this is disappointing, never again! I went back and got a refund (the idea came from the technician :) My voided transaction was still pulled from my account and Im just waiting on it to process back into my bank account, infuriating. I could go on and add more detail, but whats the point?

The absolute worse experience I’ve ever had at a shop. I travel the US for work and my car started leaking antifreeze in Taylor, so I looked up shops with good ratings and I decided on this one. I took it in and they pressure tested the system and told me I needed a new radiator because there was a leak near the lower radiator hose. Which I find hard to believe, because I put a new one in 4 months ago when the factory one cracked. They offer me the option to replace all the hoses for an additional 500 bucks, the hoses were fine so I told them just to do the radiator. I get a call a few hours later (this was a Friday) and he said when he got the lower radiator hose back on it was leaking! Big red flag went up in my head because I’m thinking that’s probably where the leak came from in the first place. He tells me he can’t find the part anywhere but he can get it ordered and have it ready on Monday (they’re not open on the weekends) So I said that wouldn’t work for me as my last day of work in Taylor was Sunday. I offered to look for the part myself and if I found I asked the tech if he could stay late. I found it at an advanced auto parts in Georgetown 25 minutes from there!! So I had a coworker come pick me up in Rockdale and take me to Georgetown then back to Taylor to drop the part off, I even got the tech a 12 pack for doing me the favor of staying late. Meanwhile they call me and tell me it’s going to be another 118 dollars for labor to put the new hose on, because he had to take the radiator back out....which sounded fishy and ended up being a lie. I was so fed up at this point and I just wanted my car back I said whatever Ill pay it. Needless to say it was 10 minutes from the time I dropped the new part off to when it was put back together. That was an expensive 10 minutes. I don’t see the difference between putting an old hose on or a new one!! Apparently the difference is 118 dollars...here’s the kicker! I pop the hood to make sure everything looks right and the splash guard that goes underneath the whole front end was not there. I shut the hood and it wouldn’t close. I had to use what little tools I had to readjust the hood latch to get the hood to closed. I was fuming!! I called them to leave them a voicemail and someone answered, it was the owner! He was not there but would be in Monday, he seemed pretty reasonable over the phone and said he could refund me x amount of dollars. He said come in Monday to have the tech reinstall the splashguard. I wasn’t thrilled but was feeling better. So I stayed another night (in a hotel) instead of going home Sunday as planned. When I come to the shop I asked for at least the 118 BS labor charge to put a hose back on that should’ve been included in the labor of replacing radiator and he said he couldn’t do that. He offered me a free oil change. You must think I’m silly if I’d let them touch my vehicle after this fiasco. I get down the road and 3 hours later my splash guard has fallen half way off!!!!! BTW I don’t leave reviews, but something had to be said about this place.

I got aftermarket wheels and came in for an alignment they said that “they can do” but after the alignment it kept going to the right even more while driving when in again to make sure nothing is wrong nothing changed. I spent 90 bucks for technically nothing.
