Employees are extremely nice, however the manager on duty the day before Halloween was very rude. If you can’t deal with a customer inquiring about an item that was priced wrong then you shouldn’t work in retail.

They have what you need…..BUT the employees ARE NOT HELPFUL!! You ask for help and they look at you and say sorry we DO NOT HAVE THAT. Then you look YOURSELF and you find it. They DO NOT make an effort to TRY! They do not know what they have in your store. The manager DOES NOT EVEN HELP! I understand they are busy party’s do not stop all year long. I understand, BUT if you are a party company the MANGER of the store should have some organization to help their customers and their employees. This location are taking down the party city creditably and name for there franchise….

They had 1 Halloween costume for my son, which turned out to be one he loved, but the store looked like it was almost empty... Not 1 haloween basket. No adult costumes. Had to stand in line over 20 minutes to buy a Party City Haloween Treat Bag.

They have a lot of party supplies, theres no question about that. But I think theyre high in price on simple things like plates and napkins. But they have a lot of very cool decorations.

This is one of the worst places to work for. Laura is very rude and disrespectful and Wendy is rude as well. Every since she’s been employed at this location she’s been nothing but a huge headache. Also with several complaints from employees as well as customers and nothing has been done by her boss. Her boss knows EVERYTHING and still does nothing about it. Sorry excuse for a Manager as well as a human being

Horrible asked for assistance the gentlemen just pointed and said in the other isle. The line was 20 mins long ended up leaving my basket and walked out. I will next go their again customer service needs to be improved

Two years in a row ordering balloons from party city in Taylor and both years they messed up. Last year I ordered balloons a day before I needed them, went to pick them up and they did not have my order ready and said they never took my order when I have receipts and their store number on my phone proving I did make the order. This year I ordered balloons a day in advance once again, had my mother pick them up and they were the wrong balloons. I will NOT be using party city anymore for my party needs.

Store was incredibly clean, organized, and well-stocked. Helpful and polite staff, great selection, and good prices. Found what I needed quickly (a 50’s day costume for school) and was even able to try it on in the temporary try-on rooms. Manager was working hard on the floor with his staff doing a major reset, but took the time to greet me and help me find what I needed. He’s very skilled at what he does. His store is consistently in good shape.

Store is very very clean and very organized. The store employee Heather was very helpful and very friendly. I love how when you come in the store you are greeted right away. Some of the prices are high on certain items and that is why I gave 4 stars but if prices were more reasonable and affordable on some of those items I would have gave 5 stars. You just need to do price comparisons anywhere you go. If you have a coupon for discount than the prices are really good because you are getting a discounted rate.

A little on the pricey side and Unfortunately, always out of stock on alot of things. But i guess if you can make it there before they run out of certain items, this place is pretty good

It was nice, lots of options for costumes, designs for parties, balloons, and other good supplies. I was here the other day and it was nice, busy but that was to be expected. Only down side I had was we went to pick a costume from the wall, where you tell an employee the number and they get it from the back for you. We saw no employee and was there for about five minutes. We went to the front and asked about it. We were told we had to tell the employee at the wall, that no one else does that part as that is their specific job. So we had to go back with the kids and find the employee to get the outfit we wanted. The employees were nice and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall recommend it, especially at this time of year as other seasonal stores are more expensive for costumes and decorations.

My opinion is that youre paying for convenience when you come to Party City. Yes, I cannot lie, they have absolutely everything youd need for any party ever. Every piece to every kids theme, all generic colored items in every color imaginable and then some wild adult supplies as well. While you can definitely gather everything for your party here, you are overpaying. As for kids themes, you can find most of the items either at Walmart or online for way cheaper. Bagged or bulk candy can be found at the dollar stores or bulk stores nearby. Cards - dollar store. Balloons - dollar store. Its nice to look at all the stuff they have and good for brainstorming ideas, but I take my wallet elsewhere.

Went in for my daughters costume. They had one but not in our size. People were nice store looked pretty good but no wow moment for the 5th star

Bought mylar and latex balloons online from party city. Website said I could take them to store to have them filled for no additional charge. Get to store and theyre out of helium. Will have helium a week after our party. That doesnt help me now. The best they did was offer 15% off. Not even enough to cover the cost of paying to have them filled somewhere else. Ended up returning all my balloons. And its 2 days before the party. So disappointed the website didnt say anything about this helium shortage.

Great selection, staff were pleasant, and even though the line was pretty long, the cashiers were moving people through pretty quickly.

The staff was excellent when I brought in balloons for my babys gender reveal. They had me wait outside so that they could fill the correct one without me accidentally finding out, and made sure none of the colored confetti was stuck to the balloon. My only complaint was that it was quite expensive for them to just add helium to a balloon that I brought in.

Low on inventory

Things are way to overpriced! 6 bucks for 100 paper plates! I could go to meijer and get 100 for 3 or 4 bucks. The staff is nice but is really slow sometimes. It is in a convenient spot right next to sky zone so if you have a birthday party there but forget something you can always come here. The store is always well kept and clean with the occasional costume ont the floor. and up to date on the newest holidays like right when it hits December the store goes full cristmas mode same for Halloween and new years especially. The holaday the store is best at is Halloween they always have lots of costumes and decorations. But if your looking for cheep party supplies this is not the place.

I went to party city for the first time and was so amazed and excited. They had everything for my paw patrol party. I loved the color selection of candy. I will definately be going back.

We had a cashier today, Velma, who was one of the most amazing people Ive ever met. In the midst of the craziness of the store, she stopped and bought my 2 year old son a giant balloon! Small gesture, with a HUGE impact! Thank you sooooo much Velma for your sweet, kind heart.

Called there from work and asked for bowling birthday invitations. I was told there werent any. A couple of days later after I had a day off I went there and bought the last 2 packs. Dont know if a truck came in and they were selling like hotcakes, or if she didnt wanted to sell her last 2 (which really doesnt make sense), or if she just didnt feel like checking. Anyway, I got what I wanted and threw a lovely bowling-themed birthday party.

Very disorganized, everytime I visit this one I can never locate an associate to ask for help locating an item. You either have to wait in line to be told they dont have the item or just gamble. It is just sad this is the only party city within hours of driving distance. Also to pay 15 dollars for a balloon, only to have it deflate the next day is ridiculous. Take your time, patience, and hard earned money elsewhere.

They always have just what Im looking for no matter if its party time or a crafting project. Quick and courteous. In and out in a jiffy!

Went during the helium shortage and the employees were complaining about the customers. Maybe, instead of talking to your coworker about how rude customers are, you turn around and acknowledge the customers looking at balloons and let them know you are out. If thats out of your pay range, put a sign on the door instead of wasting peoples time ignoring them.Either way. Ive bought from here in the past and dollar store balloons always outlast theirs. Unnecessarily expensive.

May have lots of inventory, but very uncourteous staff and pretty terrible customer service. I went into this one to purchase some balloons the other day, and I paid for the balloons plus $0.99 per balloon to have them filled with helium. So it ended up being like $7 for 3 filled balloons. We get home and tie them down, so theyre just floating in mid-air. That same night, about 8 hours later, one of them deflated on us. That tells me that either 1) we got defective product, or 2) it was over-filled. My wife goes back the next morning and when she asked a worker to help alleviate the problem, she gets treated like she is asking to take over half the store. The employee who helps her told her that Party Citys balloons are only guaranteed to last for 8 hours. Really? Instead of filling up a new balloon for her, she has my wife bring in one we have already paid for and fill it up.When you have to practically beg for something to be helped, as the customer, and that thing is small and inexpensive on the stores side, you know there is bad customer service. We can find decor online or at Dollar tree in the future.

I will never shop at another party City again. The associates at the Southgate location are extremely unprofessional. I ordered and paid for a banner for my babys first birthday a week in advance and was told it would be ready next day .They never made the banner and failed to communicate that with me. Now its to late for me to find another one. Please dont trust this company with your precious occasions . I couldnt even purchase balloons because they ran out of heillum. I wish I could rate lower than 1 star.

Over priced cheap stuff. I can get some of the same stuff at the dollar store. And we checked out the toy city they put up and its just a knock off of toys r us with half the things toys r us has but still over priced.

I love going there for any party items they have so many different items and whatever theme the party is i can always find what I am looking for in one way or another here. From actual themes or colors whatever it is you can find something. Even wallets, necklaces, gift bag stuffers, and literally anything you need for the party itself. And it isnt to expensive in my opinion for how what you get it is cheaper then Wal-Mart or meijers or a cake shop. It is a great place to check out for any themed party you are going to have or looking for decorations you will find it here no problem at all.
