I believe this place is family owned. The owner is super friendly. I used to come in here to cash my checks before I got direct deposit. Its a small place but they have a great variety of liquor

Check cashing? Haha not at this place, I was asked if I ever cashed there before, I responded no and was told they couldnt cash it.. How is anyone supposed to cash checks there if youve never cashed there before? Ridiculous. Its was a bonus check for $120 and the check is address from my place of work. RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!

The owners are very nice and are very helpful. Ive lived here almost by whole life and they have been nothing but nice to me and my family. I highly recommend them for liquor, pop, alcoholic drinks, snacks, cigarettes, check cashing, paying bills and cashiers checks.

Walked in the door and greeted with a happy Hello! Large inventory of dry goods on well stocked shelves. Large, stocked, cold coolers that cover two walls. One along the longest wall and one back wall with a passageway to their full storage area. Floors are clean as usual. Purchased two lottery tickets and got a loud, genuine Good luck! Been an on and off (moved away 2xs) customer since 1972, paperboy days.

Terrible. Wouldnt not recommend. I commented to a register employee that the price was slightly higher on a bottle than what I paid last week at another store. It was a matter of dollars and I already paid for it, so I shrugged it off. The owner verbally attacked me, calling me a liar in the presence of other patrons, (note I did not comment on the price loud enough for anyone but me and the people behind the counter to hear, again, it wasnt a big deal, I was merely curious). The owner grabbed the bottle I already had paid for and said if I provide a receipt thats cheaper than his, hed buy me a bottle. I agreed and said okay, Ill have to get home and check my records as I am not in the habit of keeping my receipts on me. I said Id be back, and he attempted to hold my already paid for bottle, until I got back. I simply wasnt going to go to the liquor store twice in one day, so I decided to take it with me, he again snatched the bottle from me, called me a liar, again, and slid the bottle across the counter in a way that I had to catch it to prevent it from breaking. By this point I was full of rage and knocked down 6 pieces of laffy taffy that were next to me and proceeded to walk out of the door. I was followed by the owner and when I turned around, he SUCKER PUNCHED ME, so I beat him back until one of his employees restrained him and asked if I was okay and apologized for the owners actions. I called the police to notify them of the event and went home. They reviewed our stories and determined he was in the wrong and asked if Id like to press charges. It was not that serious to me so I declined. But regardless will not visit again. BEFORE THIS, I WAS A PATRON FOR OVER 20 YEARS TO THE STORE.Be warned, be aware. There are stores that sell the state minimum all over the city. Do not give your business to this person.

Vermont liquor has an amazing craft beer selection and truly a specialty store for all beer, liquor and wine with a very friendly environment.

Horrible and dirty place says check cashing but they always make you wait for 1 guy to be working for you to cash it. High prices and the people there are rude and talk to women unapprotiatly.
