As a former craftaholic JOANN was my go to store. I havent been here in a while but have decided to pick up a new hobby recently and figured JOANN would have everything I was looking for! The prices are a bit high for certain things but if you download their app there is always coupons you can use. There is a huge Halloween section right now and lots of sales throughout the store.

I love this location! Everyone is so so friendly, especially leslie there assistant manager. Shes helped me out quit a dew times with some pretty large orders.

Looking for a new sewing machine .Try Janine or Viking brands....Be careful not to overbuy with way too many options.. Who needs 30 to 80 stitch patterns???We selected basic work horse model in Viking model for $549.....Our last Viking lasted 44 years.. !!!!!Have FUN

I love Joannes! They have amazing selections of yarn, fabric and other crafting supplies. The employees are always super friendly and helpful. I enjoy the atmosphere. Almost everyone in the store was wearing a mask and giving enough space for people to move through without getting too close. I could spend hours upon hours looking at all the fabric prints and yarn colors.

Joanne is a great place for not only fabric, but other crafting needs!

I really love to go and look at this store. The buttons are so cute we have been using them on masks 😷 during this pandemic. I also have gotten fabric here for and it is so cute. Staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I like being able to go in and see all of the different potential projects I will never complete...because Im a serial procrastinator.On the bright side I just finished my first ever crochet blanket. And Im dead set on going back here to get more of the soft string they have.

I go out of my way to come here instead of a nearby competitor. They always have what I need, and more importantly, the staff is always willing to help me. Tons of selections of fabrics, yarns, and supplies for whatever craft project you might be interested in.

Wish the selection of fabric types and prints varied more but overall good place to buy fabric.

This location is always well stocked and the employees are very helpful. JOANN in general trends to have slightly high prices but they frequently have deals going on, not to mention they have coupons galore. I would highly recommend planning ahead before going in to make sure you get the best deal on what youre buying!

Always fun to go to. I wish there was more fabric though. I have trouble finding enough for big projects.

I can never just run in and run out. It’s usually just grab my stuff and wait 30 minutes in line because they have the SLOWEST cashier. Just one. Just one friggen cashier. I don’t even want my stuff anymore

I went in today to ask how to put in a bobbin in the sewing machine and she was really rude. Everyone in there was rude you need better customer service, at least to say hi and can I help you. I came in from out of town just to go in your store. I give you a zero for customer service

The customer service is very lacking. Jay needs to be reassigned where she doesnt have to deal with customers. She was very unfriendly and unkind towards my mother and I.

Went there for some fabric. The selection was alright, but I did find some really cute patterns in the fabric type I needed. 5 stars because customer service was so good. Very friendly staff!

I am a deer in headlights when it comes to fabric. someone was at the door to help me and they got someone to help me, they didnt just leave me in an aisle and say here you go and leave, she helped me step by step 😁. They took all my panic away and now it doesnt seem to big of a task to make fleece blankets. Will i be back 😎 Solid YES!

I love the craft stuff always spend to much money.. I went in for chalk markers because I want them now but way to expensive so I ended up getting other stuff I didnt need but couldnt pass up.. the staff is super friendly and helpful..

Quick and easy to get what I needed and get out

Just had an awesome sale! They have a great selection of fabrics and when you hit the sales they have great prices too- but even if you dont theyre not any more than other fabric stores;) sometimes the lines are pretty long, but usually goes fast- I like their take a number system. Most fabric cutters are pretty nice- once in awhile you get an interesting one lol :)

Always ALWAYS kind service here!!! They sometimes run out of merchandise and dont stock it for awhile, but well chalk that up to covid! I also dont understand why Google says this store is temporarily closed, because theyre very much open, until 9pm and also open on Sundays! Great store and people!Pro Tip: Their app provides coupons and deals too!

This is a largest Joann store and fabric store overall in Utah. I was so happy that I gave it a try. They have a great assortment of fabrics.

A bit on the pricey side but generally have the things Im looking for when others dont.

The people here are super friendly. There are usually enough people staffed to get help if you need it. They also have pretty good inventory supply so you can almost always find what you need.

This JoAnn is chronically understaffed, with long wait times for both the cut table and the registers. Their needlecraft section is the best stocked in the valley, though, so if youre looking for that last elusive color of floss, this should be your destination... Just not if youre in a hurry.

I ordered online for curbside pickup - five gallons of Elmers glue for my slime-making daughter. On the plus side, I never would have guessed that Joanns would carry it. On the down side, it wasnt ready until the next day. Most stores offer a one hour turnaround. A clerk told me it takes an hour just for their system to drop the order to the store. I looked in the store and didnt see a spot on the shelf for gallons, just small bottles. I rated 4 stars because of the slow processing time, but everything else was fine and Id gladly repeat this order.

Poor selection for scraping no first day of school items and no 4-H items.

This is a little bit smaller store just didnt have what I was looking for that day used to the other one on Riverdale road much better selection for what I needed but over all the staff is friendly

Good prices with the coupons and friendly staff

While this location of Joann’s Store is very, very large, the overall demeanor is dirty, disorganized and cold. The employees pretty much ignore the customers and waiting in line to get checked out is painful. Management should be reprimanded for how poorly this store is run.

I dont think you could do anything to further remove motivation to work from the people that cut fabric. This and every Joans Ive ever been to always have a line at the fabric counter and no fabric trimmer seems to have any idea what the words hustle or work hard or faster mean. Maybe the company should stash a redbull fridge behind the counter for these employees. What could be a 10 minute trip for 1/2 yard of fabric turns into 30 with 20 minutes of that awaiting someone to cut fabric.

Went with my wife to find some fabric to see up same face masks for our family. The establishment was clean, neat, and well organized. The staff was also courteous and helpful.

This location has a great variety in products. My only complaint is that the check out is always slow. Everytime there is a long line and slow check out service. I will add that online pick up was quick. Order was available fast, retrieval in store was quick, and inventory matched what was listed online

My last visit at the Taylorsville Joannes was posative..the gal that cut my fabric was funny and quick...the company needs to get their Holliday fabric to their stores so it lasts throughout the Holliday..especially Thanksgiving and Christmas...I buy fabric fur doggy bandanas and we need cute fun patterns

Im not going to lie this is a beautiful store with beautiful products. But its insanely overpriced and their cashiers are so slow. Im typing this review while Im in line. The line is so far back it almost reaches the back of the store. Honestly they should get some of these old ladies a chair because crud. People in line only have like 3-4 items. Oop there goes a customer. She left line was taking to long. Im only here because in trying to return something I bought. FYI check Walmart first. I paid 15 dollars for 4 dollars worth of hay. But these ladies at the register is really nice.

Lots of empty shelf, only two registers open and the line is miles long. dont seem like under staff, just the speed too slow.

Love to Visit JOANNS, but apparently NOT on a Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm. 2 checkers and a line the length of the store. Needless to say, I could not stay and see how long it would have taken me to reach the check out. BooHoo

Love all the crafts

I really enjoy this store, unfortunately I have had nothing but bad experiences with this location lately. I went to pick up an item for curbside pick up, and a worker brought it out and through it in my car, didnt hand it to me, and ran inside. I understand that it can be busy, but that was rude and unprofessional.

While the sales are often pretty good, the lack of inventory accuracy and constant run around to find things at this chain of stores is a joke.If you no longer have an item, pull it from your shelf display, remove take this card items for people to purchase, and update your website. Its a waste of time for me to order, and then get half of it when I come and then have to wait for a refund. Then I have to spend time finding another store.Take note from a Michaels store, as their inventory and availability is always accurate when I order. People will not shop somewhere if you continue to waste their time.Im not talking once either, Im talking every single time the last 5 times Ive either ordered online, pickup or walked in, its the same story... oh Im sorry, we dont have that...Not to mention, waiting on the phone for 10 minutes, calling back and then being on hold for another 5 minutes, then they cant hear me and hang up?!I had to go into the store, when I ordered Curbside. I will not be back.

Great deals BUT THE CHECK OUT LINE WAS ALL THE WAY AROUND THE STORE ONLY 3 CHECKERS WITH manager standing at doors! I had already waited 20 minutes I couldnt wait more I put my stuff down and walked out

Awesome location for sheer amount of product. Can be pretty busy most weekends but they usually have some sort of sale every weekend so it makes it worth it. The people that work there are also very kind and helpful. It does help that they can communicate with radios if they have any questions.

Very organized and the after Christmas sales were legit, not only broken leftover stuff from the season.

Love when they are having sales on their beads! I saved more money than I spent!
