This place is great!!! Their food is so good and quick and easy I love it!! If you want some great vegan food that’s quick and simple that’ll give you energy… go here! I had one of everything they had that day and it was more than great!! The men that were working that day were very nice and one explained everything that I asked him about. I definitely recommend this place!!! And I’ll definitely be back (sorry not the best photo but it was so gud)

The team at this location is great, all you see is everyone flying from left to right in the kitchen with success when it comes to the task and job is done. They’re all peace-&-respectful which is important, cannot leave this place without giving back a review to say the food was great on the way home. To also mention the smoothies would first class you right into heaven, definitely don’t wanna miss the chance nor the opportunity to visit this vegan spot.

This place is legitimately delicious! I am obsessed with these fried mushrooms! I had a bowl and added chickpeas & purple potatoes with the spicy hemp sauce, and I cant get it out of my head. My picky husband even couldnt stop raving about it. Everything tasted super fresh, and the frying oil was super clean (you can taste the difference!).

My second time here and I know it wont be the last.I got the vitality Bowl with quinoa and everything on it (next time Ill try the wild rice, I heard it sells out fast 😫) with spicy sauce and some extra on the side.This was my first time trying the mango dragonfruit smoothie and it was honestly so delicious and refreshing! Definitely looking forward to my next visit 😊

Sigh. I want to give higher ratings because I enjoy the food. But there is a young woman who never wears a mask and serves as the food server and Cashier. No matter what your personal beliefs are about masks, the fact that you dont have the decency to wear one out of respect for customers is problematic. Additionally, the last time I visited, they needed to make more of the fried mushrooms. Restaurants typically give some sort of time frame for food readiness so customers are aware or can make an informed decision. I was not given an eta and she simply disappeared in the back. Another customer entered and had to call out to receive acknowledgement, although there was a visible staff member at the sink. Do better with your customer service and protocol.

I finally indulged in the authentic Vital Vegan Cafe! All I can say is WOW! Unbelievable food, shakes and more! Incredible energy in a delightful and vibrant little restaurant. Healthy, homemade, quick meals to go, that completely EXPLODE with flavor! Life changing fast food experience! Just all around beautiful, and educated staff bringing healthy and electric⚡️ vegan soul food to all! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great service! Phenomenal products! Truly something to go try and experience! The girls who work there are all beautiful inside and out! This is my third time ordering from here and the fried mushrooms are always on point and really delicious. But the pasta with walnut meat was dry and very bland.

The food is great but I think they are still open because they are one of the few vegan restaurants in the area. They have the worst customer service, they never pick up the phone and one day you show up they either closed or you can see the food is there but there is sign that says that they are coming back at 1 and it’s already 2 o’clock! And the best one you go there and they have no food left and they give you attitude!

The ladies who run Vital Vegan are so sweet and you can tell they put so much love and care into their food. Everything is home made and absolutely amazing. Def a new regular spot!!!

Everything they serve is super flavorful and obviously made with love. It’s filling but make you feel healthy and the staff is incredible helpful with recommendations. I also bought some seamoss and Tasha- taught me how to use it and all it’s benefits.Highly recommend - even if you’re not vegan you’ll start to wonder why you’re not ;)

Hours are inconsistent and the workers seem like theyd rather be any place else. There is a phone number but it only sometimes works. Food is good if you can ever get it. I saw a rat outside the restaurant once so take that however you want.

I found this place by sheer luck! I was very impressed by the appearance of the restaurant, the customer service and the food just closed the deal! Everything I got was very tasty and full of flavor! I’ll definitely drive an hour and a half AGAIN!

I really wanted to give them 5 starts but unfortunatly I cant ignore the issue they have. The food is very good, and flavorful. And i like the natural herbs they sell. But the people running this café are not ready to handle the resposibilty of owning a buisness. They lack the discipline and consistency of opening the shop on time, more then once I check google to make sure they were open only to find them closed once I arrived. Also they lack the supply to meet the demands, I went there a second time that same day and they had no food to sell and no herbs to sell, and the previous customer said they been waiting 2 hrs to get food, my intention is not to hurt their business . Maybe they will check their flaws and correct the mistakes being made.

I absolutely love this place! I literally come here at least once a week. The two young ladies here are very welcoming, pleasant and informative. If you’re unfamiliar with what’s on the menu at the moment, they’ll take the time to explain it to you.As a foodie, I make sure I try everything they have in the food trays at least once lol. Their fried & seared oysters over quinoa is my favorite dish so far. You can tell they cook their food with love & put all their efforts in their restaurant.If I could give more stars, I would. They literally have a loyal customer with me 🤞🏽

I love everything about Vital Vegan Cafe! Everytime I go the customer service and overall energy is so welcoming and loving. The food is amazing and they give great portions. Their seamoss smoothie is a must!! Finding this restaurant has helped me so much on my transitioning vegan/alkaline journey. Vegan or not, the food is incredible and I recommend it to everyone I know!

Soooo elated with the service I received on 12/15/20 from this business!!! I was told about this place by my Foodie Cuzzin Kisha LOL and it just so happens that I called and emailed and sent a message thru FB and a few hours later I get a call. I explained an issue I was having and in my mind I was stuck getting both items I needed until Friday or later due to a snow storm that we have coming. I have low iron and docs are trying to give me iron transfusion but I want my iron to come back up naturally and before 12/24 so after let them know this...... Let just say a lot of super appreciated effort was made to get me both items that night and I GOT EM!! Wild Crafted Jamaican Sea MOSS & Iron Support Supplements!! I was so happy as I love supporting a business that goes the extra mile for their customers. It was a pleasure to meet the staff once I arrived to pick up my items! Thank you Vital Vegan Cafe!!!

Best vegan food in NJ!

I would give this place more stars but the customer service was terrible. First of all it was pouring rain outside and instead of letting us in the the workers continued to film their video. Then when they finally let me in they had such a terrible attitude as if I interrupted them. The food is pretty good and I wanted to try more things but it seemed like the worker couldn’t be bothered to give details about the menu.Unfortunately I probably would not return.

This is by far the worse place I have ever done an online purchase with. They took my money sent me a fake shipping label and when I contacted them by email I received and auto email that never responds when I call the cafe no one picks up. If I could score a lower I would. Whether you believe in God or karma what you’re doing will find its way back to you. Let me assure you!!!

I ordered some vegan items on their website and it took about them 2 months to ship out. I understood that maybe it was taken long because a lot of people where ordering seamoss at the time, that’s fine but they at least could of sent me a email or message telling me what’s going on with my order, they were constantly posting on their Instagram account but couldn’t send me a update. I opened a refund case on my order then they decided to send updates and shipping updates the same day I open the case. Plus they said there will be a 40% off coupon for my next order but I never received it. Bad customer service. Step it up Guys. Not ordering from them again.

Sooo, despite the fact that they advertise their open at one time and dont open until an hour later, I tried the place again I arrive at 1:05 pm. They still wasnt open, about time I got my food after waiting 15mins waiting for them to open, I walks around the corner to a 55.00 ticket .The food is great but their serivce sucks

VERY good food. I go to vegan places all over nyc and NJ and will be coming back here on a regular basis. I had a platter of quinoa, green beans, chickpeas and pan seared mushrooms - all flavorful and moist and hearty (while still feeling healthy after eating it all)

UPDATE: Never received a refund. I contacted the company several times and they stopped replying. I sent my proof of order status and return status and got ignored. They also delete comments off of their social media regarding peoples missing orders!I Ordered sea moss from this website APRIL 12th... didn’t ship until June 1st and was returned to their warehouse by June 8th and still haven’t received a refund and they now ignore any email sent 🙃🙃 definitely do not recommend at all.

Wow. Ok ok ok. The Rumors are true! Vital Vegan Cafe in Teaneck, NJ is worth visiting. My very picky daughter insisted I go back to get the curry doubles. The spot was very clean, the atmosphere was friendly but the food was great. I traveled from the bronx just to get a taste. Definitely worth it.

I felt healthy just stepping into the restaurant! The staff were smiling and friendly and my food was very good and reasonablypriced! Ill definitely be returning!

I visited the Cafe a few weeks ago to restock on sea moss gel. They were out of glass containers, so they gave me extra moss in plastic containers and an order of mushrooms on the house for my troubles. Needless to say I will be returning!
