The guys at West Coast are excellent at what they do. They’re very knowledgeable and not at all elitists. If you have questions, they have answers and they don’t look down at new people. Not like the big box stores at all. Way better. They have a great selection and hard to find firearms. If you’re unsure of aftermarket products, they can offer recommendations on those as well. I’ve bought 5 guns from them, lots of accessories, and they’ve always been hospitable.

This is my go to gun store, anytime I am in the area I stop in to see what they have, Ive found some really great guns this way and the prices are always within reason. Employees are top notch and looking to help you get what you need. Transfer fees arent overpriced like some of their local competition and they have plenty of parts and accessories in stock regularly.

My favorite shop in Temecula. They have helpful, friendly employees and you can actually see what’s in stock. They are even nice enough to put a sign on the door of what ammo isn’t in stock. I’m never going back to the disaster of a gun counter at Turner’s.

I stopped by to ask a couple of questions. While getting out of my car I had someone yell at me “what are you looking at” several times from across the parking lot. I ignored him and headed into the shop he went in as well. He left and I asked if they wouldn’t mind keeping an eye out while I went to my car. I was surprised by the reaction of the big guy behind the counter who informed me (they) that he didn’t want to get involved. I told him I don’t want you be hands on I just want you to call the police should this guy jump me. A moment later I’m guessing the owner stepped out from the back and said he would keep an eye out.Hard to believe that someone wouldn’t want to get involved in some way for a potential patron of the store.I sure hope they didn’t sell a gun to this man. He was way out of control understandably but still!Watch your back because they won’t!

Poor customer service. Not a good selection. I saw another customer asking questions and they would chuckle at the questions. People working there are cocky but don’t really know much about what they are talking about. Left there and went over to brass and bass.

Came in the store to ask a few questions about buying my first handgun, very straight forward BUT I am a new gun owner so I had a few questions and after getting some VERY condescending answers (keep in mind i only asked about 3) I asked if i could take the test at there location because i was very willing and able to purchase that day. I was not allowed to because they did not have any handguns except for about 3-5 revolvers and a .34 or .43. I asked when they would get more shipments this guys attitude started to really pick up with I dont know I asked is there a way I can find out when you do by signing up for there mailing list facebook IG ANYTHING and this person said no way of knowing you have to come in everyday to find out I said okay totally understand. As I was about to ask about there selection of rifles this person simply walked away from me to speak with someone else.. Literally just ignored me and walk away and Im standing there waiting for him to say ANYTHING and simply looks at me and starts to talk to another customer.... Idk what it is with people who work in gun stores but they are probably the rudest people Ive ever met. I WOULD NOT recommend going here unless you like people answering your questions like youre stupid.. I dont leave reviews but this really got to me because I dont understand how you can treat a customer WILLING to spend THOUSANDS of dollars with you like that... Idk maybe because im a bit younger being 24 but wow what a great first time experience:)

Excellent group of guys, was there yesterday and got them to start a custom AR build for me, this will be my first AR, Ron and Chris answered all the questions I have about the build. Been doing my shopping with custom built AR and with all the stuff I wanted they are all so pricey, but when I got to west coast ammo, I cant believe the price I got for the build I want. Went back in the afternoon with the wife to purchase a gun safe and meet the owner Rob, what an outstanding guy he answered all the questions my wife had about the safe. Will definitely be back again to purchase all my AR needs or just to ask them questions about guns. Well done guys.

Feels like family. Usually very busy (which is a good sign) and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Not a large location, so they are a little limited. But they do have a good amount of stuff depending on what you are looking for. Ive bought gifts for people here several times.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. Not once but twice?Put a deposit on 2 guns, then going back to make another payment, we discover they dont have the guns I paid for, they were given to another customer just minutes before we arrive.As a result, an employee went through another batch of guns, setting aside 2 of the best ones to accommodate for the massive mistake.Now today, AGAIN, we go in to find they have once again misplaced our guns and insist a completely different gun is the one we put a deposit on, EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE PICTURES!HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEPLACE WHERE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

This really is the best place to shop for ammo! They can get almost anything you want at a lower price than anywhere else in town. I personally bought a Dillon 550 reloader and all the supplies to reload 3 different calibers. I could not be happier with the services they have provided. The owner, Rob, helped me build my 300 Blackout since he had everything I needed in stock. This is the only place I can find a consistent supply of 300 Blackout and 35 Remington ammo. They have a great selection of powder and reloading supplies.

I have given them all of my business now.The owner Rob is a class act. The guys he has working there are all great. You do not have the attitude that some of the other shops have.best prices around and ask the owner he might even give you a better deal then you are all ready getting.get all of your build supplys and reloading gear in one place.The other shops should take notice, this is how you run a business.

I will never go back to west coast ammo. Went to pick up my gun and than I was told I needed 2 forms of I.D. I told employee that I had been calling and he answered that the girl that answer the phone didnt work on the weekends. But than I told him that I been calling for 7 days now his story changed, now he said that the phones werent working for 2 weeks. Nothing but lies!!! Now I had to drive 30 miles back home to get second I.D. They never answer the phones and you cant do business like that. I would give them 0 stars but cant. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!

Staffs friendly, best reloading set up I have seen at a storefront. Firearm selection is limited. They are willing to order if you know what you want. I personally like a store that I can window shop look at and handle the firearms

So far I found my new gun shop! EVERY single time I walk in to just gain more knowledge to help with my future purchase these guys have always made me feel welcome. One time I walked in with a Mossberg 500 shell tube needing to remove the fore grip nut and they smiled, took it behind the wall and 3 mins later he goes here you go!. No questions, no pressure to buy anything etc. Today I went in to look at a new CCW single stack and they spent at least 20 mins with me showing me my options. Not standing in line and grabbing a number... On three different occasions I felt Like I was so welcomed there sometimes just talking about WWII rifles... I think 2 of the guys names were Jack and Jason. One Jack was older and full of knowledge and the other Jack was younger, full of service and if he didnt have the answer, he got it! For anyone not to give this place 5 stars is terrible! I am proud to say I have my new gun shop and will be making my purchase of my Remington 700 and M&P Shield 9mm from them in June! Competitive pricing but what extra would you pay for the personal service? Id gladly pay 5-10% more for service and support!!!!!!!!

I moved to the area a few years ago and none of the other shops around even come close to the level of West Coast Ammo. They used to have extremely well priced AK build classes and only stopped because the ATF made those illegal. They are the most reloading friendly shop in the area. They have fantastic prices on ammo and guns and are very veteran friendly.I have bought lots of ammo and parts here over the last few years as well as a Dillon press and a CZ pistol. The employees are well trained not to spread FUD and dont pretend to be ex-Navy Seals which is a huge relief given the types of embarrassing jackasses you usually encounter working in gun stores.And just this week I sent in a 1911 for some pretty minor smithing work. Was told the expected turn around time would be a week but got a call in less than 3 hours saying my pistol was ready for pickup. I almost thought they had forgotten it at the front desk and the next employee to see it had just assumed it was ready but when I came it, it was good to go. Apparently the smith had bumped my work to the front of the queue since it was very minor.Like I said, no other show around here is as good as West Coast Ammo. Other shops have bigger inventories but their prices are significantly higher, their employees often are arrogant, stupid about gun laws and/or very pushy with sales and they often rely on gimmicks to stay in business. I swear the only reason Faith Armory is still in business is because they hire young girls to draw in morons who dont know that West Coast Ammo is only like 1 block away.Spend your money at West Coast Ammo.

I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes in traffic to meet someone from the same distance in the opposite direction to do a PPT an hour before closing time. I get there and the guys are standing outside smoking with no customers in the store. Told me flat out they would not do a PPT because it takes too long. Worst customer treatment Ive EVER experienced. They had absolutely nothing to do and would not do it even after being informed that people drove nearly 2 hours each to get there. Id give zero stars if possible! Ive done PPTs there that late before and there was never an issue. What a joke. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Bad customer service, never anwser the phone or return calls. Very good at talking but not getting you a resolution to the issue. When I go in tomorrow to get a full refund i hope they make a mistake and give me a reason to take them to court. Will never do business here again nor give a recommendation.

Ive been shopping here since they opened 2 years ago. Theyve grown from ammo only to full FFL, Cerakote, reloading. They offer classes and presentations and have lots of good info.If youre looking for a firearm that is hard to get, talk to them. They will order just about anything that is CA legal.

Price on ammo is reasonable and they had 32 s&w short. Ar lpk was only $45 for Anderson which beat everyone else locally by about $35 cheaper. They also stock glock 80% and Ar 80% which most gun shops dont so thats a plus. Some things were over priced but overall very fair. The service seems hit or miss as they either thought I was undercover/off duty or thought I may be a shop lifter? My wife and I were browsing as we hadnt been in before and were being watched non stop and somewhat followed it felt like. Ive worked Loss Prevention and run a multimillion dollar business so I know what its like and understand so no big deal.Overall I will return my business here and would recommend others to shop here as well.

This is the best gun shop in Southern Riverside county. Prises are reasonable to.

They seem to be an O.K. gunshop. Their SKS rifles are not what they say they are. They have one for $1,100. They say its unissued, not true. I have owned unissued SKS. The supposedly unissued is a electro pencil force matched. They are all re-built SKS, as are 98% of all SKS. Unissued SKS are very rare and hard to find. Nothing wrong with the re-built. They shoot very well and are great rifles or carbines, whatever you want to call them. As far as price goes, thats none of my business.

Been going there since they opened. It was a small shop with just ammo and now its expanded. They have a great selection for reloaders and usually have things in stock. Great guys and knowledgable.

Literally felt like my uncle and I disrupted a funeral service. There were about 3 staff members standing in front of the counter as we enetered they all stopped talking and starred at us blank and said nothing. My uncle asked Can we come in? One of the guys just gave us a nod an the other 2 said yeah. The buffer on one of his JT lowers wasnt functional and he wanted them to check it out. One of the guys took it to the back so we walked around the shop and looked aroundfor a few minutes still no sort of greeting they all just stood behind the counter and watched us we felt very uncomfortable so we walked out and waited for him. The guy returned with the lower after 10-15 minutes he was able to remove the buffer and spring but we will not return plenty of other shops in the area that I can spend my hard earned money at..

I absolutely love this store... 500 rounds for 100 dollars. Faith armory would of been around 140, Walmart is about 20 cents cheaper per 50 rounds but at the end of the day i dont want to have to wait 20 minutes for someone to walk over and unlock the case and then wait in a long line. If youre like me this is the store for you, and to top it off you dont have to deal with the type of dont know bs about guns sales people you fine at turners and other places. When you walk into a store and you see an 80 percent 308 lower or a sbr upper for sale you know youre in the right place.... Just saying...

WEST COAST AMMO AND WHY I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAINAfter going to West Coast Ammo for a few years now (all the way back to when they only sold ammo) they had earned my trust as a customer. I was aware from others that in the past West Coast Ammo have had customer service issues. I ignored this as their prices were hard to beat locally. My overall good experience with WCA swayed my decision of purchasing a complete upper for my AR10 from them knowing full well it may be cheaper to order online.In early October I stopped by WCA to purchase a (18” Juggernaut upper, BCG, Archangel Charging handle, Buffer tube assembly, and Magpul BAD lever), paying $1000+ cash out the door. It has taken me a while to find time to build my lower with the parts purchased. As I worked on it, I find out I was sold the wrong buffer. Not a big deal, I take it back and exchange it. I also decided to have it Cerakoted. When I get the upper back and put it together, it is nearly Thanksgiving. I take it to the range and as I release the bolt, the bolt catches and SNAPS off the lower from the bolt striking it, and the bolt is now locked in the barrel. Knowing this shouldnt happen, I take it back to WCA to see what went wrong. The gunsmith informed me that the bad lever (that HE sold me) was putting tension on the bolt catch, thus it snapped under the pressure of the bolt strike. I asked why they sold it to me if they knew I had an upper that would not allow it to function properly. His response was I didnt know what kind of upper you had. So I request the gunsmith to remove the broken bolt catch but DO NOT install the new one, as I need it to go in for cerakote. The gunsmith did not see these instructions and installed a black bolt catch on my coyote tan rifle... Upon installation/removal of the broken bolt catch, he also damaged my lower and the cerakote on the upper.After I thought everything was taken care of and ready to shoot, I wanted to enjoy the gun so I took it to the range. I did so, only to find that the bolt is not cycling after the shot. I have to manually cycle the gun by pulling and releasing the charging handle in order to eject the spent casing and reload every single time. Being completely dissatisfied with the upper and the poor customer service at West Coast Ammo, I requested a refund. I was then informed that a %25 restocking fee would be deducted from the return. However, the upper is now completely Cerakoted (even the muzzle break) and it has some higher end aftermarket components (archangel charging handle, nickel boron BCG not originally included in the sale) so a restock fee just seems unnecessary due to the offset of higher end components which WCA can repair and sell as a complete ready to go upper.It has now been 28 days since I went into the store requesting to speak with the owner about the issue only to be deferred by the staff. I have yet to hear back. I recommend giving them a one star rating on every forum.

They hardly ever answer the phone and never return messages. Purchased a lower receiver end of October and was told it would be in before end of the year when the assault weapons law went into effect. After plenty of calls and stopping by multiple times eventually they told me (in December) its out of stock and they wont be getting it in. I had to scramble and find one out of state since all the local stores were now out of stock. They didnt even bother comping me the transfer fee. Poor customer service.
