We love visiting our local Barnes & Noble to explore new reads. They have good discounts at times, but aside from being an immediate access to the book you want RIGHT NOW, they can be a fair bit overpriced. If you plan to get several items from them, youll want a membership. Also - some locations host readings and signings from local and bigger named authors. Worth checking out.
I stopped by here yesterday looking for Kingdom Man and they did not have it available. However, one of the associates was able to help me locate it at another location.Everyone was very nice and the store was relatively easy to navigate.
Great location. Tons of options, friendly folks and great customer service. Theyβre always very honest about offerings they have, and are more than happy to help you save where possible. The store does tend to get crowded, but there is enough space in the aisles to not feel uncomfortable.
Nice. A couple gals helped me however, I drove a ways to find out they dont carry the books I was looking for in store. Call before you go. I found similar books on my own. Quiet and clean. CafΓ© inside. They passed out sample drinks. Pop up birthday cards, pretty desk items and puzzles, card games, party games and learning games are all items I saw while browsing. Definitely a place I will return to.
Taking our 4 year old to B& N is always a good experience. Love the dedicated kids book area and the staff had always been kind and helpful. Only negative, applies to all their stores, is that after Toys-R-Us closed, B&N started carrying a lot more toys than they had previously and so it requires effort to not spend time in that area during the visit.
Bought a book on Bit coin.Have to try to understand this new tech.Looks too risky for me. In numerous ways.BTW, had a frapacino while there, yum yum
Would give higher, if it wasnt for happening twice now, an employee was rude. Would give lower but at least they had ONE book by the author I was looking for. I love books. How the feel of paper and the turn of the page in my hands as I read. With about 400+ books in my home. Many with an autograph by the authors, I treasure them. Hope my next visit is 100% pleasant. Fingers crossed.
Stephanie was AMAZING!!! She was so informative about the different books in the store. She made our shopping experience amazing. Thank you Stephanie!
Great one. Lots of product really well kept.
I love barnes and noble. I looked online and saw that the item I was looking for was in stock. When I got there it was not. Make sure you call before you go because some people steal the books your looking for. The workers said Especially manga.
Love the wide variety of books!π¨βπ«
Big book store, good environment for shopping in big complex shopping center in the heart of Temecula!
Overall good store. Went on a particularly slow day, the Cafe looked open but I stood over there for ten minutes waiting for an employee to take my order. No one ever showed up even though the cafe was supposed to be open.
Still love books, this is one of my favorite places
Everybody there was so helpful and made this trip to B & N so smooth. Thank you!
Great book store and they have a great variety of books.
This place never disappoints. My daughter was looking for a specific book and we walked out with three.
One of the smaller locations but what they lack in size they make up for in selection ~ how thats possible I dont know. They also have a great selection of magazines!
The best bookstore- very nice staff- and great coffee too - their selection is great too. I could spend hours in this bookstore
Good size store, great selections, a little pricey but a nice coffee bar there.
Great service today! They were very helpful in ideas for my son and daughter.
I went in looking for books about wedding planning but ended up buy 5 different other books π great selection! And very organized!
Excellent customer service, I had quite the adventure!
Love this place. Could be in there all day!
Good book and a cup of coffee. What could be better!
I love it there! Its my favorite store!
Online it said the book I wanted was available in store but I couldnt find it. Asked for help and the workers couldnt find it either. The store was not as organized as I had expected.
My daughter gets all her anime books there. Huge selection.
Great selection. Very up to date. Clean and cute.
I like to visit B&N after work just to browse & relax from a tiring day......which, usually ends with me buying manga or YA fantasy novels, (mostly manga.) You can also purchase things online and have it delivered to the store, or ask the store to hold something for you; which can be rather convenient. Also, if youre lucky, the in-store cafe might pass out sample coffee for free, and they really taste good. All in all, I enjoy going here.
Very nice people. Great layout, easy to browse through.
I love barnes and noble I wish that the young adult and lgbtq books were more towards the front of the store instead theyre kinda hidden but I love the store I always leave with a new book
Very nice place and good service!
Support your local book store! Great selection!
Ive been going here for 20+ years since we moved to Temecula. I often find DVDs and CDs and Records that I dont find anywhere else except online. One of the few if not only places in Temecula to buy music and they still have many CDs and movies. Ive bought many books and always enjoy my visits.
Outstanding book, magazine, & music collection that is situated in a socially distanced manner. Customer service was phenomenal and assisted me in finding a childrens version of Treasure Island perfect for my autistic young nephew. I love the Temecula store and know that any child or adult book lover will too. I highly recommend Barnes & Noble in Temecula, CA.
Went in looking for a couple books for my father for Christmas. The place is great as far as selection goes and if they dont have the book youre looking for, they can bring it in for you. Due to Covid rules, there was a line to get in. Once I waited my 10 minutes or less to get in and I was inside shopping, an announcement came over the loud speaker explaining that others are waiting to enter, hurry up and find what you came for and head to the counter. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I wasnt messing around and I didnt see anyone else doing so either, just shopping. Management needs to understand that everything in B&N can be purchased on line and they should not rush people while theyre shopping or there may come a day where management wont have anyone to make an announcement to.
Didnt have a copy. No longer available. But said on the app for e-books. The creature from Jekyll Island. Most excellent customer service!!!
The staff and all of the folks here are fabulous. Great book store.
Loved the way the store was set up The childrens area is very nice & the coffee shop makes you want to curl up with a booy
We took our grandsons to Barnes and Noble on a HOT weekend afternoon and had a great day of shopping for childrens books. Wide selection and nicely organized by childs age. The boys also got a chance to shop for their upcoming birthday gifts from the many shelves of high quality toys including many LEGO sets. We then headed over to their snack area and had some great cookies and milk. Papa enjoyed the fantastic selection of magazines and appreciated the chairs to sit on while making his selections.
The place is great but the people working there need an attitude check.
Great verity of books for all ages
I will be using Barnes and Noble online. Very convenient and dont have to deal with annoying incidents in store. Employees always seem to think im going to steal.
Drove out of our way since online they say they carry barons newspapers and they dont...so aggrieved
Love Barnes & Noble. They are always helpful everytime I go in.
At least the restrooms are open, they have a wide variety of things and are willing to order what they dont have. Staff is friendly and helpful without getting in your way. It would be nice if you could sit somewhere other than the toilet. Pretty sure covid doesnt transfer more if sitting
Very helpful, kind, and personable.Store was clean, and organized.Been a member for over 20 years as a teacher, and regular member.
Super Big; closest one to Hemet and San Jacinto.πππ
Wonderful selection of books plus a lot more! Great place for Christmas shopping. Employees are polite and helpful.
Pretty extensive manga section, which I appreciate. Even had really niche titles that I didnt know had physical releases. Couldnt explore the store or stay long because of covid, so 4 stars for now
I needed some New Calendars for 2021I found some Beautiful, Unusual ones at Barnes & Nobles! Am Very Pleased with their selectionπΊπ
Super small and out dated book store.
All the employees were very helpful and kind!
When in doubt Barnes & Noble will get it for you
Clean, organized, and friendly. Its great to have an actual bookstore to go into these days, amid all the online shopping options.
Over priced books. But fun to look at and write down names.
A very good chain of bookstores. i come here often and buy things like Books, DVDs and POP vinyl figures. they got a good selection of stuff too. they also have a Starbucks cafe, but you gotta buy something if you wanna sit there. so that sucks. like anyone person with common sense would say that B&N is pricey, but i would buy anything here thats under $15. overall i love barnes and noble, great selection, great-ish prices, but great everything.
I love that they have a wide selection of books and that they abide to covid rules.
Awesome assortment of vinyl, and of course books, books and more books. Very friendly staff
Was so happy that it was open. I was in the area and decided to check. They had rearranged it a bit. Was nice and clean as always. Everyone was very helpful.
Was disappointed over the low level of toys and games inventory. had to go to target instead.
Long line to get in then they start trying to shove you out the door before you can get any customer service. I had more fun online.
Always super helpful and nice staff. Very clean and organized. Im always able to find what Im looking for! Kids love it there.
SO GLAD THE STORE IS OPEN AGAIN, BUT LIKE EVEREHERE IN THIS EORKD, NEW RULES APPLY THS T I HV TO ADJUST TO. JUST GLAD IT IS OPEN AGAIN. YEAH!!
Great ambiance and they were following CDC guidelines for COVID-19.
Came in today to return a magazine that was over a year old. None of the links that were advertised on the cover as downloadable worked, which I assume is related to the age of this booklet. Anyway, it was a Christmas gift so when I came in to return it from 3 weeks ago I was informed FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER that they have a 1 day return policy for magazines. This isnt posted anywhere! Nor did they tell me at the time of purchase.Mind you, this magazine is a not a paper cover like a normal magazine, but the semi-hard cover like any normal soft cover book. Also, as a precaution because of COVID there is a no reading policy in-store (which is understandable) so, I couldnt verify the links in the booklet. The clerk was polite when explaining the policy and informed me doing anything about it was above his ability. Ok, I thought, also understandable. However, the manager REFUSED to come out for this matter. Cool, now Im stuck with a $20 useless magazine.Ill go to Amazon from now on. Barnes and Noble, you just lost a long time customer. Ill be canceling my membership today as well.
I love this place
Big and very nice. Wonderful staff.
Love taking our kids their very helpful staff
Knowledgeable staff and clean store. Well organized!
A bookworms happy place.
Last second book requirement from a apologetic child required a visit to this location. Clean and doing what they can to help during the pandemic. Staff was quick to help and friendly. Prices are close to online competition. Will return.
Very nice
Usually one of our favorite places to shop, we typically spend at least $100 each visit and make an effort to shop at the store in person to support a business we love. During covid however, this place has gotten so uncomfortable and staff stalks and harasses their guests to the point of the store feeling unwelcoming. It very much feels that employees do not want you there. I was told that my young child was not allowed to sit anywhere and when she was gathering her books she put them on the floor for me to get for her(to buy) and immediately an employee was asking me if we were buying them or not. We were also told to not look through books because they would have to sanitize them! The store was almost empty so not sure why them having to sanitize would even be a problem as the store seemed over staffed. We bought 10 books so we were there for an hour and at the end of that hour it because clear that staff did not want us there and we had overstayed our welcome. I even saw one woman looking at us and whispering to a co-worker clearly talking about us. Next time I guess Ill order from Amazon as they obviously did not need our business. Sad.
The place is nice, but i didnt like the set up. I would rather go to the Barnes&Noble in Carlsbad; I feel its just more organized.
Cute!and so clean
Customer service here is horrible. A worker took my items from me to take to the counter because they acted like I was planning to steal it,. Dropped it on the floor ( they were all collectibles) and forgot to scan everything so I didnt get everything I planned to buy. I come here often but would now rather drive to the Mira Mesa location. Btw, if your going to take peoples items to hold at the counter, you should lock it up behind glass so it doesnt look like you ONLY DO IT TO MINORITIES LIKE YOU DID... have a good day.
Lines are too long to check out. If they had more than one person working the registers, this problem would be solved.
Hours of browsing can be spent on here π
It was nice checking out books which I havent done in awhile
This store always has a great atmosphere even during current world events and the customer service is beyond great.
Who doesnt love a building filled with books??
Kinda weirded out that it now has a toy section... in a book store.... then again it has a movie section too.
I am not a book club person, but drive over to get a Gift Card for a Christmas Gift and stayed and bought more. Even in pandemic times the bookstore atmosphere grabs youz is a cool place to hang around and open your horizons.
Customer service wasnt very helpful. I ended up buying a few books anyway and got the majority of my wish list from Amazon.
Mice and clean. Costumer service is amazing. The books I wanted is easy to find.
Just went there to look around and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had quite a few people ask if I needed help. I enjoyed their offer to help. Great selection of books (of course, cause its a book store).
