JR is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to all your wiring needs. Hes a super straight up guy and took care of me. I had 3 other shops look at my truck and couldnt find the problem. JR figured it out and fixed it in a day. Charged me a very fare price did great work and will forever be a friend! I recommend this place to everybody

HANDS DOWN THE BEST AUDIO SHOP IN THE NATION1970 Chevy Impala Convertible. San Diego, CAI really dont know where to start . Hows this, What ever your heart desires. These guy do it all. I brought my 1970 impala in to have an audio system installed. Not only did they install my tricked out Alpine stereo system, but they Installed my digital dash, dialed it all in perfectly, installed my alarm, and even installed my vintage air climate control A/C and heated system . Instead of going to three or four different places this was a one stop shop for me. And you have no idea how stoked i am . Just look at my ride, and YOU BE THE JUDGE !!!!!!!!

Awesome work, priced fair

Ive been a customer of Audio Evolution since well before they moved into their current location. In every instance, Ive always received impeccable service at a reasonable price. Everything they sell is high quality and their workmanship is unmatched. This morning I noticed my Alpine head unit stopped working in my boat as I was packing for my first family trip this summer (leaving at 3am). I stopped by unannounced, they were extremely busy and Eli still managed to squeeze me in for a quick diagnose and repair by Carlos and I was on my way in less than 20-minutes. These guys always stand behind their work even though this was a manufacturer issue. Its businesses like this that will always have my full support and recommendation.

The service here is Fantastic. I have dealt with few subpar car audio places and this place is not one. They may be a bit gruff customer service wise, but the items they install last. I know I have a $2K system I had them install over 10 years ago and it still works amazing.This double din was installed in a 95 Nissan 300zx. Not an easy installation, so I was worried there would be issues but of course they rocked it.

Not sure as yet having some electrical work done awaiting parts.

Drove 20 miles to get there and they were closed despite sign saying they should be open another 15 min. Place was dark so its evident they were closed for quite some time. It would have been decent of the clerk to have told me they were closing early when I called earlier in the day with questions about their products.

Long story short, had a ground impact on my car which led to my headlight wiring malfunctioning. Since they were after market no auto shop would touch them. Subaru themselves told me that they would only exchange them for stock headlights and rewire them for 1000s. Who ever put these headlights in the car did an extreamly poor job. So trying to figure it out on my own was like trying to read a different language. Finally someone recommended Audio Evolution and my expectations were met to the fullest. Spent a few hours on my and went ahead and rewired both sides so the problem wouldnt occur in the other headlight. Also prices were incredible, I will always recommend them to anyone for electronics on there car. Thanks Eli.

I had a problem with one of my speakers in my truck, probably a loose wire, so I called Sam at Cali Car Stereo (competition around the corner) to see if he could take a look at it. He said he could, quoted me a price of $75, so I made an appointment. After driving from Hemet to get to my appointment, I met Sam, and again told him the problem. He said he could take a look, but now the price had jumped to $250!!!!!! I was a little upset at the more than 300% price increase from the original quote, so I left. I went around the corner to Audio Evolution and met JR. He gave me a price, fixed the problem, and then only charged me half of what Sam originally quoted!!! When you mess with peoples money, you lose business. Cali Car Stereo will NEVER get my business, Audio Evolution ad JR WILL!!!! Thanks JR, and Im looking forward to my next audio upgrade!

These guys installed a complete sound system in my Chevy Tahoe and did a great job. They were fast and did a clean job. They have a good selection and all of their displays work so you can actually listen to the head unit and speakers your interested in. Best of all they dont hound you to buy anything but they take their time with you. Excellent customer service.

If you need something on your car fixed wiring of any kind these guys are good they know what they’re doing and very reasonably priced normally I don’t leave reviews for places that do good work I only do it for places that don’t do good work but this place deserves a good review and if you need work done give them your business

They really understand what it means to get it done right the first time and dont over-promise and then have to under-deliver when they cant do what they said theyd do! I trusted JR with my very high-end European sports-car for multiple upgrades with LED Lights, wiring and stereo and didnt worry once that it wouldnt turn out perfect!

I would not hesitate to recommend Audio Evolution for installing a key-less entry system on your automobile. I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla, base mode with manual door locks. They gave me a fair quote, stuck with it and delivered the vehicle when promised. I wish dealing with other businesses were as easy as this.

They were able to hook up the stereo to my steering wheel controls and even connected my back up camera to it!! I was referred to Audio Evolution because of some electrical issues with my car. What could have been an expensive diagnosis and fixed ended up being a simple and inexpensive fix. Well I have not bought car audio components in years and was feeling a little intimidated until I talked to Eli here at Audio Evolution. We have an older 4runner and the head units Eli demonstrated to us were outstanding. We decided on the Alpine video navigation head unit (INE-W960hdmi) set up with xm radio and a backup camera. JR confirmed the Alpine power pack I was looking at would be an excellent addition as a space saving little amp so we added this unit. Never did we feel pressured or made to feel inadequate and the suggestions that Eli came up with on the install, such as the placement of the USB port in the center console, were excellent. The cost for the units and install were excellent and the install was neat and professional . The sound is excellent and and the clarity is fantastic in every band weather it be the am/fm stations, the xm stations or the cd/DVDs . The veiw from the camera is expansive and clear. All in all I will recommend Audio Evolution to everyone I know for their audio needs with absolutely no hesitation. Just go and see Eli and JR and rest assured you are in good hands.

Years ago, I took my 88 firebird down to have a box installed in the rear hatch to accommodate 2) 12 subs. They charged my $225. Once I got my car back I noticed the box was very small. I thought nothing of it. After I left and with close inspection they did not build a box at all! All that was done was a 1/2 carpeted piece of MDF that was screwed to the top of the overhang in the back of my hatchback! When I called them, all I was told was that the receipt was signed so it was not their problem. Shady, shady work.I decided to get a quote last week for upgrading my alarm from a viper 300 to a 5706v and adding several additional sensors. I talked with J.R. and he gave me a quote of $1,059!!! Seriously? He proceeded to tell me that the alarm itself was $500, when its actually $219! ***BEWARE*** If you want to get taken advantage of (and not in a good way) DO NOT go here. I got everything I wanted from another shop that was a Viper Dealer for $550 Installed. A $509 mark up? You guys should be ashamed of yourselves! Not only do you guys do VERY shady work but you take advantage of people. Thats not right. I am so surprised that you have good reviews at all? All I can say is your great reviews are as good as your work in my opinion. Im also posting this on Yelp. **********BEWARE**********
