First of all we were a difficult table. There were 16 of us. They were accommodating, and I know how difficult a large party can be.Considering that it was a packed house,our food came out hot and at the same time. The waitstaff was friendly and polite.Kudos! I will be returning.
Large menu. Pies look delicious but they don’t have banana cream. Great service, very quick even on a busy morning. However the food isn’t extraordinary, it is good but not five star worthy. I was expecting better for the diner coffee but I wasn’t impressed and our waitress never came by for a refill fortunately I was okay with that because I didn’t like it. I noticed a few people bringing in their own cups of coffee maybe they got while they waited but it would be a good idea if you expect high quality coffee.
Went to this place for a drink and tried the pineapple mimosa!! It was great and absolutely amazing. Noel was also a fantastic person to be around she really made the experience that much better!!
Great food fast service curtious waitress no waiting in line early morning, clean and sanitized restaurant outside dining for those that want to eat outside, the coffee $ is a little to high I advise to chk before ordering 1st, pkg on front street nice environment to dine 👍, alot of history in old Town Temecula ca.

This place has great food, and the people who done there and serve there are what makes this place so special.Whenever Im driving to and from San Diego, I always stop by for breakfast.For myself, this place is part of who the city of Temecula is.If you havent been, you will be happy you went.
Enjoyed a nice lunch with wife on a Saturday there. I had Ortega beef dip and wife chefs salad. I ate All of my sandwich and fries. The had last bit of wifes salad. Really like favor and quality of sliced meats. Nice smokey favor. Not cheap plain bag stuff. Dressing was in house made too

Swing Inn Cafe has a beautiful patio! Staff was attentive and friendly. Wait wasnt bad at all. We were flexible with inside or outside so that helped. The food was very good and good portion size as well. My absolute favorite was the giant cinnamon roll. Its AMAZING!!!! Dont pass on it.
When Im ever down in old Town this is my favorite place to eat. The food is always yummy 😋 and the staff is always real friendly and attentive, plus my cousin Tiffany Hutton Brown has been at this establishment for 22yrs ! Yeah its that good. Congratulations!!! yall are fantastic
Riding through with friends on a motorcycle. Great, have lunch on a couple of beers. Bartender was very friendly. Food was good. I recommend this restaurant for a good relaxing place.
I travel quite a bit. Usually nationally, but lately its been state local. This week i found myself in Temecula for 3 days. So i decide to try the local breakfast place. The shop was down the street form the towns touristy Old Town so i hit them up.I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs, soft scrambled with a little cheese on top.16.99 and coffee 2.29, 2.49.. i forget.1. Service was fantastic. Attentive, courteous and prompt.2. Food quality was so so.A. Canned corn beef hash.B. Hash browns seemed like freezer case stuff.C. 1 slice of toastD. Quantity of food was sufficient, but not for 16.99.Total on the bill was 24.00 and change. At the risk of sounding like a jerk ( i may be too late) Swingin Inn is no value by my standards. Nice place, nice ambiance. I had a pretty simple meal so maybe i need to try something a bit more exotic. But likely wont be back.
Very nice, cute breakfast place. Food was good, prices reasonable and good service. Only reason they dont get five stars is because they were good, great, but not spectacular. My steak was slightly overcooked but still good flavor, their home potatoes were just fried potatoes cut in squares, slightly overcooked as well. I do recommend this place as your reliable traditional breakfast place.

Tuna salad is my favorite. I crave it and have tried to recreate it but its never as good. Great breakfast options. Also, good place to bring kids.

The Swing Inn is a true classic diner, set in the heart of charming Old Town Temecula. The food is always amazing, the staff cheerful and friendly. We live in San Diego county and make a special trip out of our way just to enjoy the Swing Inn. The cinnamon rolls are the size of your head, fresh, delicious, smothered in cream cheese frosting and butter, so decadent, so worth it! The coffee is delicious, the cups are bottomless, and refilled before you can get halfway through a cup. The Spanish omelet is divine, the chunky Spanish sauce so flavorful and the perfect pairing with a cheddar cheese omelet, dont forget to ask for avocado on top! My favorite are the cottage style potatoes, a meal in themselves! We will always make the special trip for thus family favorite. The Swing Inn is a must!
Excellent food and friendly attentive service even on their busiest day of the week. We will return often. The Liver and Onions lives up to the hype; it is the best anywhere I have ever been. Very tasty! They serve food for all tastes and nobody will leave hungry.

Went Sunday morning and it was about a 20 min wait. We sat outside. It was hot but there was plenty of shade and misters. The location looks either recently remodeled or well kept. It is 90 years old but doesnt look it at all. Service was prompt. Coffee wasnt old and bitter. Ordered a Popeye omelette (spinach, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, swiss cheese) on Friday and had the country fried steak when I went again on Sunday. Food was made very well. Hash browns were very good. Overall I loved the food and service, will definitely be a place I go to when in Temecula.
Super busy but the food was good and the environment was super relaxed. Prices were reasonable and the cinnamon roll was to die for! Its a must.
This has always been a personal favorite. Either dining inside or outside, both are relaxing. All American diner but we always go just for breakfast. Small but comforting diner in the middle of old town.
Always enjoy breakfast here. But today I asked for my hash to be crisped up.It wasnt. The eggs were lukewarm. Like they had been sitting off to side on the grill. The hash browns are fried in margarine but too much today. They had no half and half for our coffee either. Bummer!

My family and I went here for breakfast last Saturday. Even though Saturdays are a crazy busy day for diners, we only waited about 10 minutes for our table. Which was surprising since they were so busy. He had amazing service from our waitress and the other servers around us. My husband ordered an omelet which was giant. I ordered the super bowl scramble (pictured.) It was delicious. Our kids loved there meals as well. It was great home cooking. We were completely satisfied by our experience at the Swing Inn cafe.
Found this place randomly on gps before heading up north to work from San Diego. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Great food and ambience. Family oriented. So now I know to stop here when I go up north passing through. A+

Its so hard to find a breakfast/lunch place like this! Was there yesterday, perfect weather. My omelette, sausage, country potatoes, and french bread toast was TOP quality! Food portions are great ( I promise you will not go home hungry!)Before I forget, the Bloody Marys are magnifique! Kudos to the Swing Inn Cafe!

I dont normally make reviews unless the place is exceptionally good or bad. Dining at the Swing Inn Cafe was a fantastic experience!Service was quick and always on top of our meals. Im a weirdo who has several glasses during a meal out, but my cup was always refilled!Western Burger was delicious. It wasnt just burger by numbers but it was obvious that it had been crafted and iterated on until its taste became next level.Cherry pie was beautifully homemade and really good as well. I even ordered a second slice to take home!Wish we got our waitress name, but Im guessing she was Server #5 written on our receipt. If we can well be back again!
Service and breakfast was great. Extremely happy that my scrambled eggs were not overly salted! We ate out on the front patio. I recommend eating here.
Ive been to Swing Inn Cafe several times since moving to Temecula a few years ago and Ive always had a positive experience and great food. Its one of the most popular breakfast restaurants in all of Temecula in my opinion. And with it being located where it is in Old Town, you can see why. Its a great location. Since COVID theyve constructed a new outdoor seating area thats really nice and dog friendly as well. They offer a full bar if youre looking for a place to get a drink, which Ive discovered can be a challenge. Most breakfast restaurants are beer and wine only. Check them out. I definitely recommend them and plan to continue going in the future.

Cute little cafe in Old Town Temecula. Has that small town feel to it. They serve a variety of breakfast items, and burgers and patty melts,. They also have a great dessert selection and a small selection of mixed drinks.The French Toast was okay - not bad but nothing special. The “special” burger was really nothing special. The patty was fairly thin. I really liked the fries. My iced tea was good, but costs $4.

Great little dinner with classic american dishes and they even serve alcohol! We got the irish coffee and they bloody mary which were both strong and tasty. The cesar salad with grilled chicken breast was well dressed and delicious. The grilled cheese was good and I like the fact that they have a lot of bread and sides to choose from. Overall a great experience that I will recommend to others!
It’s always a good place for breakfast, food is consistent, this time around the service was a bit slow this time around, I understand how busy it gets but a few more servers would help out a lot!

Our family absolutely LOVES Swing Inn Cafe! We have been coming here for years. My husband was deployed/stationed away for two years and every time he came home on leave we always would make a stop here on one of the days. For us the customer service, food and coffee is always spot on. Today was an even better experience in my opinion. As we sat outside for dining this morning I think a lot of gratitude has set in during this year and just looking around at the staff, patrons and vehicles driving by it just had a feeling of enjoyment and community. They even grabbed us an extra umbrella for shade out of storage when it started getting a little too warm. Thank you for another great dining experience. Many more to come!

A solid breakfast option in Old Town Temecula. We were here over Presidents day weekend when it was quite busy in town. At other breakfast spots they were very busy with long waits but we called ahead here and they were able to get us on the patio within 10 minutes. Excellent fluffy pancakes and good omelets.

They really made sure guests were comfortable during the heat with the outside patio. Many umbrellas and fans with misters. Our server was excellent and breakfast was on point!! Our favorite stop in Old Town Temecula for breakfast has always been the Swing Inn Cafe. This weekend we were a bit late and ordered lunch. I am sooo glad! I have not eaten anything else but the breakfast but please make sure to stop by for lunch and try the club sandwich. What is it they are doing with those fries? The sandwich also had several types of meat, what a treat! Thank you for the great lunch Swing Inn Cafe! Also, all staff are the friendliest, by far!

Don’t get me wrong. The food was good. The wait wasn’t too long. The Hawaiian mimosa was taaaaasty. The service was good, and our server was nice. But, aaaallll like ALL of the staff had their masks below their noses. Consistently.
Historic restaurant location dates back to 1927, interior look of the 50s. Main draw food is great; speaking for beef barley soup, Ortega beef dip w/ chili peppers & cheese, & house-made pies. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner -seeved all day! The staff will make you want to return. The tombstone epitaphs will make you remember this place

The food here is wonderful! My family loves to eat here. It also has a lovely ambiance. My only issue as of right now is that most of the servers don’t cover their noses when wearing masks. Which completely defeats the purpose. If they are going to be open. And if they are going to wear a mask. Might as well do it properly. Otherwise this is a great restaurant.
Amazing breakfast on Valentines Day. Despite the large crowds, service still felt individualized, coffee was hot and quick to the table and food tasted fresh. Always a great place to eat and holiday/Covid/Sunday brunch time is not nearly enough to break their stride.

This place has good french fries but thats about it. The veggie burger tasted strange. Honestly, the atmosphere is very off putting. Like its covered in a layer of dust. It feel grimy and makes you second guess anything you put in your mouth. My daughter liked the cheeseburger she ordered but said also that the inside of the Swing Inn Cafe felt like it hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. Something that sounds odd but that you have to experience for yourself or rather wait, dont just take my word instead. It feels like your great grandparents attic after it had been closed for 50 yrs.
Busy pateo service on a Saturday in August. Kinda silly to be wearing masks outdoors like that. Had a 20 minute wait. Food was tasty and quick. Lemonade was perfect on this hot day. I enjoyed watching all the cars cruise by and people walking along enjoying the sunshine.
