When Best Buy first opened stores I found them to be 4 - 5 stars. Then store personnel began to be unprofessional. One of numerous examples was a hard drive was recommended and I purchased a number of them. At a later date a sales person told me they were junk. A professional would have qualified my needs. In the past I was highly pleased with a lot of purchases and selections. Then I became virtually invisible. I often walked out, and then making the purchases elsewhere. 8/13/21: another retailer recommended Best?Buy??Said BB should be able to assist. After walking around 20 minutes looking for flash drives I left. As a fat man I find it hard to believe I am still invisable? Today I foolishly returned 08/16/21. Very few customers and I again wandered the store for long period of time. Lots of empty space. People waiting for help for an extended period. I finally saw a Geek Squad person.I asked where .... and he told me. Not one conversational word. I went to the spot, inventory partially gone and quite a bit on the floor. They also had a lot keyboards strewn on the floor. I saw a staff person without a customer and quietly waited. He finally recognized me and said, as he was walking away, do you have a quick question, I am extremely busy I went to another retailer and bought the keyboard that Best Buy also offers. I did not find the flash drive I will order on the web. 4 wasted trips, time, and gas.

Very nice, but no service at all. The workers in there do not try to help at all. I waited 30 minutes for someone to come help me and decided to go on my own. The staff have no knowledge of the store. I found what I needed on my own. Customer service goes a long way people.

I spend the afternoon at the abundant best buy with a good buddy of mine. Its was a good time. There was alot to see and shopping here for gifts this time of year is always a great stocking stuffer. The laptop selection is also recommended to check out as well. Overall it was a great experience shopping here, the staff were all very pleasant and not pushy at all. Come on in and shop

Not sure who is writing them high reviews but would guess it is their employees or friends of employees. We went in to add a cell phone line to our existing account. Our present line costs $30 a month total. They tried to trick us into paying 90 dollars per month for the second line even though we kept asking if it would be the same price as the line we already have and they kept saying yes. We noticed it and cancelled before the service could start but they were lying about how much it would be and it was triple the amount they suggested it would be!!! Then they tried to sell us just the phone unlocked even though we would have no need for that phone - and for over $300. I would go anywhere else but there!!! I cant give zero or negative stars but that is what they deserve. Hopefully we will meet that weasel of an employee of theirs off the job and can talk to him more about trying to rip us off!!!

I wasnt impressed by the Geek squad at Best Buy. Made appt. through apple care coverage. When we arrived with cracked screen was told they would have to send it away to apple it could take up to three weeks, I said okay then he said well I cant work with apple right now youll have to go to an Apple store.. What?Needless to say have to find an Apple store.

Just your standard big box electronics store. Come here for the front page ads and clearance sections. Dont buy anything at full price or not on sale! Thats what Amazon is for! ;) If you can afford to wait, Best Buy will give you season deals that are among the best youll find. Loads of free parking. Handicap accessible. Also, I prefer buying screens and camera products here in person as if there are dead pixels it is easy to return and exchange! Not all online retailers let you exchange for something that small! Go forth and purchase! :)

It was nice they had the thing I wanted (I knew thanks to looking online) but the place is just a mess and seems like a random collection of whatever all over the store. I got a rat, oh, I mean a mouse, and they carried them in at least 3 different places in the store. I saw some on a shelf and thought oh, the one I want must be around here somewhere, but nope, it was in some other section on the other side of the store. Organization by category seems basic but for them its more based on brand or something.

Its like any other department store in the 21st century. The store is very clean and well laid out, but it has barely any inventory. If you wanted something specific you would probably have to shop online for it.

So Home Appliances is behind the pick up/customer service counters....I wanted to cancel an item which I had ready for pick up. I wanted to buy something else in store (better and more expensive).She tells me to walk to the other side of the store and talk to someone about getting the item up on the top shelf. I ask her whats the point of the walkie talkie you have on?.STEP UP the customer service people.Anyways. I hope the girl I dealt with is new and we can use that as an excuse. The guy who ended up saving the sale was very helpful and nice.

I feel like a kid in a candy store when I go to best Buy. The staff is knowledgeable on the latest products, and thats no easy task with the way technology moves. The sales are awesome and they keep it nice and cool in the store. Its easy to spend an hour here.

Loved the modernized capabilities, though missed the diversity of obscure electronic needs.Usually go here when all other stores don’t have the cords and gadgets/adapters needed. This location had less in stock of that, than basic needs or new toys.

We did not realize Best Buy closed at 7:00 and Corbin V. went above and beyond to meet our needs even with a few minutes left until closing time. Regardless of his personal agenda he was able to help us purchase the phone we wanted while also tending to other customers that were waiting. True customer customer service!!

I love shopping at Best buy. I know that if I have a question all of their employees are subject matter experts in the area they represent. If you have Best buy credit youre buying power potential is that much greater. I enjoy getting the truth based on what I am looking to purchase instead of receiving a conversation based on a sale as they do not have a commission structure. I look forward to always coming back.

We went there for GoPro9 Hero Black and other stuffs and the guy was not helping us to create an account which weve spent more than $400.00 for our first time visiting to this store and we came from very far because of their reviews. After we purchased another headset and we walked to another cashier who was at the front door. She is super nice and very friendly to help us to create an account. I would say that she is really do her job and very professional for serving all customers. 5 STARS FOR HER!

We returned a monitor within 15 days of picking it up. But bc we ordered it online a week b4 picking it up, they said it fell outside of their 15 day return policy. The clock on returns should not start until you pick up the item.

The guy in the Google/Amazon aisle, was very helpful, and I found what I was looking for. They have a nice set up for Google and Amazon products. Which I thought was pretty cool, cause Amazon doesnt have ANY Google products. Which was the whole reason I went to Best Buy. Lots of interesting stuff to just look at.

Best buy has changed over the years and while they still have a great selection of appliances since Sears is no longer up and running (unless Im wrong..) it just doesnt have the selection I used to see when it came to video games and computer items. While covid has caused a lot of fat to be trimmed out businesses I really hope they bring some of these areas back. (Movie selection was waaay to small for my liking. And I get jts 2021 but sometimes a good DVD is hard to beat!)

I received some gift cards for Christmas and went to buy a kindle a few weeks into January and they were out of stock which was understandable since it was still close to the end of the shopping season. Went back last weekend thinking its April now and they should have some in stock only to find out they still are out of stock and was told I should order one and the will send it to my house. So here it is almost the end of April and I still dont have a kindle and havent even gotten an email letting me know when it will arrive even though Ive already given them over$300. Dont they know that Best Buy is one of the last electronic stores out there with Frys closing soon. You would think they would work harder on having items in stock vs having to order it online. If it wasnt for the gift card I would have just purchased it from Amazon and would likely already have it in my hands.

Watching how employees reacted after the customer walked away. They think theyre better than everybody get over yourselves. Youll never get one red cent for me.

The staff in Best Buy are amazing!! I loved that I didn’t have to go searching the store for an employee to assist me. Brenton helped me right when I walked in the door and was available to help me the 2 plus hours I was there. He knew the product, was very kind, funny and SO helpful!! I am definitely not a tech person, so he was great at explaining all of the different products. I definitely recommend this Best Buy!! Next time you’re there ask for Brenton and your whole shopping experience will be amazing! Thank you for the great service and Best Buy make Brenton the manager already.🙂

I purchased a new phone online but didnt activate it in-store as I was in a hurry. Once I was home and had the time, problems arose. VZW and Geek Squad were no help fixing the problem. Geek Squad recommended an exchange because the phone was faulty and the closest store that had stock for exchange was Tempe Marketplace.At Tempe Marketplace I met Sam Mackenzie, the AT&T Specialist. I explained what was happening and within 5 minutes my phone was up and running. Forget Geek Squad for phone issues. Go to Tempe Marketplace and find Sam.

I need to go back one of these days and get one.The only unfortunate little problem there was when I was there at 8pm, was that their Switch demo display thing wasnt working. Im not sure exactly what was going on there, but Im sure its probably working now.

The staff on the sales floor did a great job at acting busy even though they werent helping customers more into getting the stocking done so they can get the hell out of there. I had to go look for a person to help me in TVs, and when I did its like he spoke a foreign language, even tho it was english. I had to make him walk over to the TV with me, make him answer questions. Not the first time in that store either. I ordered a product online and had the product shipped for curbside pickup at Rio Salado location. I clicked on the tab to let them know I was there and waiting. 15 minutes went by so I attempted online to locate a phone and of course there no # so I clicked on live chat to assist. The rep suggested I checked store hours. I replied the store close in 30 minutes. Rep acted like she cant read and suggested to come tomorrow when store open. So, I get out of car and asked why no one came out. Rep blamed on poor internet became never had a request to bring ordered product out. This unbelievable poor service..

Roman at car installs is great!Bought an android/apple car stereo from another best buy and have constantly had issues with it connecting to my phone. That service tech just said to buy a new cable each time. So i decided to take it to a different location and Roman new right away exactly what needed to be done. 15minutes later my car stereo is connecting to my phone with no issues! Thank you!!

A little bit frustrating. Items were ordered online. When I got to the store to pick up my purchase I was told I could not pick them up because when the order was placed there was a question about whos picking up the purchase and it was not answered so it reverted to the credit card holders name which is in the companys name. I did not see the question pop up during my ordering process. So I had to go back online, try to figure out how to get into the order and select, for each item, who was picking it up. Thank goodness I only had four items that I was to pick up. I was rhen told it would take the new order an hour to reprocessed. Thank goodness the salesperson was wrong and within 15 minutes I was finally able to pick up my products.

Poor service. Stood in an empty line for 15 minutes, no one helped me. Went back to front where I again asked for help, reluctantly someone assisted me. I asked about a Washer/dryer combo and they said it was discontinued. I walked to a nearby Home Depot purchased the exact same model number for $500 LESS!!! Delivered to me 3 days later. (HD was having a sale just to be fair)

Bought a refrigerator on line to be delivered today. We specifically asked for a phone call when they were on their way because our air conditioner wasnt going to be installed until tomorrow and it was just too hot to wait there with the time range for 2pm to 6pm for delivery. I called early to make sure I would get a phone call and the guy said it was noted even gave him a backup number. They showed up with no phone call and since no one was there they left.I called back to ask about my delivery and thats when the guy said they attempted delivery and no one was home. So I told him I had confirmed earlier that I needed a phone call and he says yes its here in the notes! So why no call? Not even leave a note on my door! Now they are saying next Tuesday for delivery! I have to wait a week for their mistake? Unacceptable! Mind you this is in Mesa az its 108 degrees today no way could I sit there for 4 hours waiting. And I explained my situation they assured me of a phone call. Very disappointed

My husband and I went here to look for a new 65 inch tv. The layout was not user friendly. It seemed like it set up so you would buy your tv on line. It was hard to determine prices and there were not a lot of display tvs. There were 3 or 4 clerks standing in a group talking. They looked at us occasionally but made no attempt to come help us. After about 10 mins of us looking around and deciding to leave due to lack of help, 1 clerk started towards us. When he asked if we needed help, I said we were leaving and maybe he should have asked sooner instead of just talking to his co workers. He just said ok. I then went to customer service and they didnt seem to care about the lack of customer service. We were a little stunned that Best Buy had such poor customer service. We left there and went to a competitor and ended up with a 75 inch Samsung.

Employees are kind and patient. They were definitely follow the rules of 6 feet and masks. I had gotten too close and they had politely stepped back, very good. Everything is neat and clean, everything seems put up and together. I definitely recommend. Employees also seem very busy, even if they werent, it is good to look so. Great Best Buy.

I literally only ever have problems with this Best buy. I try to get open box and they make it difficult. Also the lady refunded me and didnt ask me how I wanted it so it went to the bank account that I already closed. I was trying to tell her that I wanted a gift card but she didnt even care if she went too fast. Also I once went to return a TV because it didnt work and they wouldnt refund me. It had to be sent to the factory for them to tell them it was messed up. I was without a TV for 2 weeks. I also bought the geek squad protection which I thought would cover something like this. 10 out of 10 dont recommend this Best buy to anyone.
