I went in here about a month ago looking for new clubs. I was greeted when I came in and informed the employee that I was looking to buy new clubs but wanted to make sure I got the right ones for my swing. The guy said that everyone is trying to buy golf clubs now, they don’t have much stock, & it would take weeks to get any clubs in. I was still interested but he said I would have to call in to get a fitting...while I was in the store talking to him. So I left. Feel free to make your own assumptions if me being young & female played a role in this service.

The experience wasnt good... I went in last week to browse their used iron inventory. There wasnt much (because of COVID it sounded like) but I saw set of srixon irons in great shape. I wanted to test them on the simulator and the person who I believe owns the shop, said I could test them. He gathered some of the sim balls but didnt even bother turning the simulator on so I could see numbers.. he mentioned he had an appointment in the next hour for a club fitting so maybe thats why..? but still, it felt kind of disrespectful that he didnt even both setting up the simulator, as i probably would have only hit about 15 shots since I was on my lunch break. I was hitting in to a dark screen.. and I still bought the clubs. Not sure how I felt about the purchase.. if i could I could return the clubs, I would. (By the way, there were no customers in the store and two people running operations. I hope they learn to treat customers better. Its a shame)

Not a good experience when my family and I stoped here yesterday. I was looking for a used set or irons and saw 2 sets that were priced very nicely. I asked to test them both out and the sales person looked at me with two heads. Ended up hitting them and liked the one very much. Then asked if they lengthen the clubs since I’m 6’4 and the gentleman said yes. Then he asked me how long I’d like to extend them, which I had no clue. I asked if they measured me for them and again he looked at me like a deer in the headlights really not wanting to help much at all. My mother in law was going to purchase a few accessories as we love supporting local business and after she saw the lack of caring to help she put her stuff back and wouldn’t allow me to continue with the purchase. Ended up going to Van’s and spending 4 times the amount on the clubs I was going to due to the service we received. I don’t like writing reviews like this but who ever was working yesterday around 12pm needs a lesson in customer service. I hope that changes for this store bc we like the inventory and being locally owned.

Hands down, the best privately owned golf shop in the southwest. Two of the best club makers, both Mike and Kim have many years of experience performing all aspects of club repair and custom club assembly. Todd, the owner is adept at custom club fitting and spends the time necessary to properly fit clubs to the golfer. The shop has everything you need for your game. Tillman is a hoot.

Nice selection and competitive prices. The old store dog that greets you is a nice bonus. No harassing salesman either (I didn’t talk to anyone and prefer that in golf stores).

I went in specifically for a set of used clubs, I had been using the same set of irons for about 13 years past down to me and didnt know what kind of clubs to get or what to look for for to help my game improve. They recommended a set of nike irons within my budget. I went out today and what a difference it was. Great set of clubs and customer service. Will return for all my golf needs.
