The store is small but cute. There is no indoor seating, but there are benches outside or you can sit on the ledges by the trees; otherwise grab your ice cream and walk down to Tempe Town Lake- that is less than a minute away.The server was kind and was handing out samples too if you requested; he was patient. They have a nice assortment of flavors (and even some that I havent heard of elsewhere) and for the health conscious, they also include signs to show which ice creams are gluten free, etc.The small goes for about $4 and the cup is small (sort of like kids size that you would get at other ice cream stores). However, the portion means you can get your filling of sweetness without feeling overwhelmed.Overall decent place.

The icecream was delicious. They have some interesting flavours like banana foster, blue moon, peaches espresso. We tried ultimate s’more sundae which had Belgian chocolate and marshmallow. Also it has a nice location with a lake overview. Must visit.

Amazing ice cream place. Great variety of flavors. Grabbed a couple of Double Trouble sundaes today, a shake, and a couple of pints to go. Nice that theyre back to allowing people to try a sample. The honey blue cheese was pretty crazy but awesome. Pleasant to relax out front once the sun goes behind the building and enjoy the view.

Wow! Wow! Wow! It was so hard to choose which flavor. I tried 10 different flavors and wanted them all! Seriously the cleanest most delicious flavors Ive had since gelato in Italy.

This is hands down the best ice cream in Phoenix or anywhere for that matter. Flavors are on point try the waffle cone it is bomb as well!

I had a scoop of the earl grey and a scoop of the lavender honey and both were amazing! Usually lavender ice cream tastes like fruit loops and is overwhelmingly sweet but theirs wasnt too sweet and had an amazing flavor! Ill definitely be going back

New location.Couldn’t find it but it’s facing the Main Street. U need to park on the side and walk to it it. It’s by the palm trees.Basically across crumbl cookies.Got the blue moon which is pretty good. Taste a bit of lavender and my brother and coworkers say it taste like fruity pebbles. Also I got the Belgian chocolate. Really good. Also my brother got the brownie swirl and it was good!

Sweet Republic is ice cream done right. Whats not to love in a place that does everything in-house. They even make their own waffle cones. The flavors are fantastic. Also I now dont have to drive all the way to Phoenix to get it anymore. They have a location in Tempe 😀

Great location in the Watermark plaza.. finally showing signs of life now that people are returning to normal. The folks who work here are upbeat and friendly. Another great reason to hang out around Tempe Town Lake

Great flavor options, well executed. The Curry-Coconut ice cream had a nice hit of heat and spice showing up on the finish. Fortunately we arrived on the later side of their operating hours and parking was easy, but by the looks of it, Im not sure how that works out in the day when the building theyre in is open....our first visit to this location, but not our first to Sweet Republic. Enjoyed it as we have the others!

The mint chip ice-cream is the best Ive ever had! It tastes like actual peppermint - extraordinary!! It is so awesome to eat the ice-cream outside under the palm trees with the lights and colored mini-fountains. Epic family fun for a summer evening.

The ice cream was pretty good! I think they have room to grow. The topping variety was pretty small and the chocolate wasn’t the best chocolate I have ever had. However, the turtle ice cream was delicious! Overall I would recommend!

I went here to get some ice cream today (3/22) Love the place. Clean and decent taste. Love the view like everyone else. I was in and out within 20-30mins as I was enjoying ice cream with my doggy on the outdoor seating. However, came back to find a tow warning on my car. My husband told me the security guard was following us and he stood in between the pillars and watching us the whole time. The coward didn’t even leave his name on the warning ticket. I hope it’s not cause we Asian. But anyhow, I found my new favorite ice cream place 😝

Sweet Republics ice cream is delicious, the Fitz Root Beer float is my favorite. Not only is their ice cream great, their customer service is incredible as well. My order is always perfect and when I order through Postmates their team always includes a large bag of ice to help keep my order cold.

Everything is amazing the hot fudge sundae with the pecans amazing all the ice creams that Ive tried are amazing the chocolate chip mint is has real mint in it oh so good

Hands down best ice cream sundae I have ever in my life had. Its not cheap but I promise every nibble you have (because your gonna want to make it last) will delight tastebuds you never knew you had. Sorry no pictures but I was very busy enjoying my delight. Go find this place....you wont regret.

For being rated the best in the valley it was pretty underwhelming. The ice cream flavors were fine, but all of it was quite soft and there wasnt a ton of variety.

Worst customer service EVER! there were flies everywhere it was disgusting! My icecream was covered in flies. When I asked the lady for a new icecream she drop kicked me and then spit in my eye. She then made me eat a dead cockroach off the floor. It was horrible y’all I do not recommend. Definitely not a place for children! The manager is also lazy and stays on her phone in the corner.

Staff was friendly and ice cream yummy. Kinda expensive for the amount of ice cream you receive. Clean restroom. Nice area outside to seat and eat.

Sundae was delicious

Tonight my little brother and his girlfriend came to visit me I was really excited to bring them here.. we walked from the other side of the lake. the lady serving us behind the counter gave us a terrible impression as soon as we walked in. My brother proceeded to order and she threw her rag in the bucket and rolled her eyes as she started to make our ice cream. I obviously felt uncomfortable and started to wonder what we were doing wrong so I googled the hours and it was 10 mins till close .. I asked her what time they close, she said 11. I said okay, can you please stop being rude to my brother if he isnt doing anything wrong? I was so upset with her demeanor I had to walk out.. my brother shortly followed me and said she refused him service. I went back and asked for water at least since we walked all this way ? She agreed and let me know she was the manager and there was nothing left she could do for us. I work in the food service industry as a manager and this is absolutely EMBARRASSING. I cant believe it was the worst experience Ive had in a restaurant.

It was a great spot. A little pricy for an ice cream sandwich with one small scoop. But once in a while ok to go with a great view of the lake.

Walked in with my turtleneck jacket over my face and was told to leave. Another lady in line being served doing the same exact thing. Super rude staff and charged our card after requesting it be canceled. Don’t go here.

Its my first time here, it couldnt be so nice if they will let the costumer try out their flavors. HahaI totally understand that its Covid thing, but they are wearing gloves though. Great opening.A much smaller place than other locations, but this is right next to Tempe Town Lake in a great area for walking while enjoying the amazing flavors that Sweet Republic is known for.

The very best ice cream ive ever had. I typically get delivery but I went in last time only to discover many more flavors & a super sweet, capable, woman to tend to my ice cream needs. I tried the Huckleberry Swirl, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! Awesome flavor, highly recommend especially to Cheesecake flavored ice cream fans & pretty much anyone with taste buds will love it. However my favorites are the cappuccino & mint chip. Both fantastic not overwhelming with artificial flavors, they are both perfect, naturally flavored wonders. I highly recommend both to anyone. The quality is top notch! Ive tried about a dozen flavors of ive cream & 3 flavors of sorbet both are fantastic. My favorite sorbet is the strawberry but I havent tried the basil yet & Im dying to. I know its cold out & ice cream isnt really big right now but its worth the cold, its the best.
