No salt, no taste, some people make things spicy with salt, some people make things just spicy with less salt, and some people make things salty with no spice, this has no spice no salt. I had to vomit before eating the samosa fully, the filling had nothing to it. Their potato filling was too mushy and not authentic. The outside shell wasnt great. Their spring rolls were dollar tree spring rolls sold for the whopping amount of 4 dollars, no thanks Id rather go to Panda Express, and finally the puri and curry had no taste to it along with small quantity please add salt, some people might vomit before eating the food.
I would offer five stars but have not been there in a while. Food was great, unique atmosphere. I truly like how they do business, prepare food and treat you.Another review mentioned not getting all of the order. This is probably a problem with the delivery person. A friend cant use certain companies because some drivers eat instead of delivering all the order.
None of the food items we ordered were good, will never go back.Wada-Pav - they use sweet bun for vada-pav, on the top of that the vada was compmetely tasteless, and the chutney had made the bun soggy. Selling such kind of wada-pav shoule be made a criminal offence, worst one I have ever had.Samosa and Kachori Chat - They make it too sweet, there was no essence of chat.Jalebi- Wierd taste of oil, I guess it was fried in burnt oil or something else was wrong with the oil Jalebis were fried in.
Love this place! The food is delicious and store is great to grab anything you might need
Great selection for authentic Indian meals. I have been shopping here for 15 years and I am never disappointed. Best prices for spices and hard to find specialty items. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Samosas are more expensive, smaller, and dont taste as flavorful as they used to. Thats unfortunate, because this place used to have THE BEST samosas.
One good word for this restaurant- Save your health.Ordered multiple items on a weekend and not even one of them is neither fresh nor tasty. These worse taste bringing more bad to Indian chat varieties. They don’t even don’t know how to make Pav Bhaji!! Try some good place elsewhere..
If you cant deliver food items properly. Dont do it. Have items missing from my uber eats order. Will never do it again
I discovered this place by chance. It’s a small grocery store with a restaurant at the back. They have good selection of grocery items. The food selection at the restaurant is limited but tasty. The staff are pleasant except for the cashier guy who always lectured on how using a debit card costs him extra. Hence, three stars. Otherwise, it is a nice store.
Delicious food specially the vada pav and the kasta katchori!!Recommend!!
Friendly service and great selection of Indian snacks
Love this place! The food we ordered was amazingly delicious. Also, the sweet lassi here was great. It’s really refreshing during the hot summer day. Prices are reasonable with friendly staff. I asked many questions regarding the menu, as I had no idea what they mean. People working in the store and kitchen answered all my questions with good manners.Anyway, We’re moving to the new house where it’s only 5 mins from the store. So, we’ll definitely go back again!
Only place to go for authentic homemade Indian
Pls dont order Pav Bhaji here. Its just one sesame bun with sauce.Even my white wife know thats not Pav
Honestly the prices for everything have gone up exorbantly during covid. Cooked Food has been improved since previous owner. Its decent. The new owner is much nicer but my main complaint is that the prices have become outrageous. Also most people that come to the store are naive how to socially distant themselves. You know the indian culture, we like huddling up lol.
Chole Batura is the best I have ever had.Clean service and they handle food in hygienic way
I love their chole bhatura. Can i get the chole recipe please???
Great little hidden gem for anyone who loves Indian cuisine and spices. The location is small and old but the people are nice and the food is good too.
I have been there multiple times, the owners are very friendly and we love some of the chaat (samosa, kachori) items from their kitchen.
People are super friendly and helpful. The best Indian food I have had in the valley. Everyone should try this place!
Amazing food, vegan options
Being as little store, but available so many day to day use items at bargain rates.
Great customer service! I wanted to make a traditional Indian dinner, and the store clerk helped me with everything I needed. I decided to cheat on making rice, as they have a small kitchen in there as well, so I just bought some, and it was delicious! Cant wait to make my butter chicken!
The grocery store is okay. Certainly not the cleanest of grocery stores. They can do so much better with a little bit of improvement with regards to cleanliness.
Home like food at reasonable prices. The people are straightforward and nicely hospitable.
I visit this particular location often. The service is always great and the drive-through line always move quickly. I enjoy the freshness of my orders and I also enjoy how patient the order taker always seems to be when my little one has no idea what they want as if the menu changes. Fast and friendly service. Food was served quickly and our order was correct. Restaurant was clean and modern. Will return again.
Love their chole bhature, its extremely delicious. I have tried most of the food from their kitchen. Almost everything is good, except their curries (sabji). Like their pani puri, samosa, chat, sev puri, mango lassi, and pav bhaji. The shopping store has lot of things that you may not be able to get somewhere else nearby in tempe, like some spices especially. But the stuff are usually costly compare to other places.
Great takeout restaurant. I had the special #2 and samosa chatt. One was spicy the other a little sweet, so they complemented each other well. I ate half and have enough for lunch tomorrow. The women in the back kitchen reign supreme. I highly recommend!
The best samosa hands down great little vegetarian store i eat here a lot great atmosphere and very nice people working here if you ever want some great food step inside and have some indian food like your walking near the beach in Mumbai
Best North Indian Restaurant.
This is my first visit here and liked every thing in here . This restaurant is small and comfy with way less than reasonable prices these days .The food tastes great just like home made. I visited this place around at 2:15 pm and it’s not busy. For sure will come here again.Note :This restaurant is in the grocery storeThank you
Everytime i crave indian food i come here. If you havent tried samosa, pani puri/ golgappa, chole bhatture, sweets ( rasbari, rasmalai ) you are missing out, must try it.Highly recommended!
Amazing food, reasonable price. Availability of groceries too, a bonus.. 😊
Great place quick bite and indian groceries.
Love their Papri Chat and Chole Bhature. Friendly people. Prices are also reasonable.
Awesome food.
A few tables and chairs next to the grocery shelves, a kitchen it the back, and the freshest street-food snacks you can imagine. It’s incredibly difficult to walk out without buying some of the special Indian sweets in the refrigerated section. Simple and delicious.
A small Indian store which we visited mainly for the restaurant. Even though the place was cramped, the food exceeded our expectations. Rare to find such quality food for a very reasonable price. Good for a quick bite.
Food was soooo good! I ordered the chole omg I was in heaven! And everyone there is super sweet ❤️
This is a great place for a quick bite of Indian food. I usually go here more for the food from their kitchen than the groceries. Definitely try their Samosas.
Best Indian food in the state! Authentic and affordable, have been coming here for over 10 years. Its a hole-in-the-wall and the ordering process might be a little confusing for non-indians, but its not a big problem. Food is amazing
Good friendly service, but it does add up quick. Lots of vegetables but I feel like the sodium adds up quickly too lol. Nice to try their food from kitchen and get inspired then try to buy from shelves to make at home. Sells ready to eat box thingies fairly affordably.
Though the course is hard because of obstacles near tee boxes and greens, plus overall distance of course making it challenging to any level of player, I still love this course. Its beautiful and maintained great anytime of the year. Its one of my suggestions if somebody asking about my favorite courses.
This store has a great selection of authentic items, but it can be a bit over priced. The food is great though! Everything is made fresh in the back kitchen. I love coming here and ordering Samosas. Sometimes the staff can be a bit rude, but dont take it personally.
The food is marvelous! Id personally take it to go, as the tables are crammed into the aisles of a small convenience store.
Good selection
Good place to have Indian food. Its a group of Indian women who prepare the food. So the food tastes the best and homely. Groceries are good decent variety. The cashier guy is a pan biting weird old man who is rude and is unable to communicate/pretends he cant communicate politely. So watch out for him. Otherwise overall a good place for weekend visit for Indian food and groceries.
Service was decent. Food was too spicy hot and everything had the same taste. Will never go back there again...
Very nice place with lot of different authentic Indian snacks in very less price. They also have small grocery store. Not a very big space to sit but enough to enjoy the food 😊.They also used to have snacks prepared specifically for Jain. Not sure if they still have it.
Nice chats. Cute little place.
Here you can get Indian vegetarian meals, mostly North Indian. Everything is prepared from scratch. Hence, all the items are like home cooked, and, will not harm your stomach.I wish they pay more attention to the cleanliness of the wash area.I wish the gentleman who sits at the checkout counter smiles at the customer once in a while.
Well stocked and favourite place
Nice and cozy place to have a quick sank - samosa, chaat, panipuris etc u should definitely visit. Affordable, quick service close to Indian taste. Nice staff!!
Great little place for a quick bite. Conveniently priced and variety of options that too change at regular intervals which is good as it provides new options.
Great food and fast service! A must have for anyone wanting authentic Indian food!
Yummy street food inside this little grocery store. Go to the back on the left side, fill out a ticket of what you want, then stand by the kitchen door and give to them. Pay at the front counter on your way out.
Excellent food, smallish but very cheap portions, nice small store with a few tables and kitchen in the back.
This is the only place where youll find the home like food! Well Done!!
Amazing simple food..Simple customer service..If u want suparb food which is good for health and value visit this place..Dont go here for ambience or any other thing.Think what matters and be respectful.
THE BEST SAMOSAS!!!! I have been going here for years. I have had samosas from all over, but theirs are by far the best. I highly recommend that when you are near this shop, to grab some for the road if you dont have the time to sit down and enjoy it.
Homemade North Indian snacks.. Best place for small eats and early dinner. One of the best fresh snacks and sweets in the area
Best grocery store with excellent food.Try the chat here. Samosas are awesome. They literally have a board at the billing counter, that says their samosas are the best in USA.They have various types of parathas. All of them are good. Also try their sweets. Jalebi here are the best.I usually order their combo packs for work They have various combo packs from which we can select. They sell curries in big boxes and half-made chapatis to take home. The food here is by far the best home-made type food that you can find in this area.
Nice little market, plenty of spices and staples. I did not try the meals there however.
Food was pretty good and a nice variety. Staff was decent. Nice place for a quick bite.
The ladies serve very good Indian styled food. Simple and tasty. Small shop which has just enough stuff to run your Desi kitchen at home. Some items are a bit overpriced.
One of the best Chaat places in Arizona but recently got sold off so would have to see how it Maintains
Best home made food I have ever tasted.. I love this place
Deepak(grocery store) is very helpful and friendly. He is a wonderful man. First visit helped me choose chai tea. Yesterday, friends came to shop and have lunch. Again Deepak assisted. Lunch ordering did not go well. Food was fabulous but process difficult. Women in the kitchen were not helpful at all. My friend from Shri Lanka had questions but the women seemed annoyed. Maybe they are not interested in new business. Very disappointing but, food is worth the inconvenience. Next time Ill Google for questions.
The food is amazing! If you are new to Indian food I recommend the #1. Small restaurant great food great prices! The owners are also very kind.
Nice small restaurant with reasonable price.. food quality is good. Grocery items are little over priced compare to other Indian grocery shops.
Came with a good expectation by driving 30 miles, its total disappointment.Snack items taste is just okay, very pricey.Sweet items also tasted but not great as they charge price.I dont recommend to anyone who wants both quality and quantity.!Im not going to visit this place for sure
The food at the back of this grocery store with its good menu is delicious! They make all the food fresh, right there when you order it. The bhaturas are fantastic. Havent had soft, fluffy bhaturas like that very often. Very authentic! Wish they would expand the menu, but what they have is really, really good!
They take a lot of time in delivering food. Its good but very slow. Lots of time waste
A great little culinary adventure that wont break the pocket book. Delicious traditional Indian food is served in a very casual setting (a grocery store) where you drop off your order at the kitchen door.Make sure that you are not in a hurry as the service is not rushed, which is perhaps its only drawback if you are hoping to stop by for a quick lunch.
I was cooking an authentic meal and needed some ingredients from this place, the gentleman who was working there was super friendly and helpful to explain to me the difference between different products and make suggestions of what to purchase. Plus he explained the best way to cook, preserve and store the product. What a great experience!
Quick stop shop. Good little earery family run
Very authentic cuisine at good prices. Vegetarian only menu which is awesome. Kind people. And a grocery store to boot. Nice!
Great Indian Food. My favorite here is chole bhature :), very fresh and tasty.
Little grocery store with wonderful product straight from India. They also have a small kitchen for authentic Indian food. Enjoy!
Sip on filter coffee and dip that samosa in the perfect chutney, perfect evening for Indian roadside snack searchers.
We ordered Chaat, Aloo Paratha, Onion bajji, Tea among other things. Onion bajji was decent and none of the other items were half as good. They serve simple value for money fare but need to improve their cooking skills.
Was disappointed with their bhindi vegetable. It was over ripped and hardly edible. Owner was arrogant, gave all kinds of explanation but refused to recognize the fact.
Good selection of spices and pantry staples, and everybody was very helpful. This will definitely be my new neighborhood Indian food market.
After about 2 mths of moving to Phoenix, managed to land in this authentic desi food restaurant. Oh my god! Their samosas❤️ A must try! Very reasonably priced and quick service, their clean & tidy kitchen surely needs a special mention.
Love to eat Bhature and Channe.very nice place to enjoy Indian food when you are craving for it and have not cooked anything in home.
Cook something at home. The owner is super super rude. When i read all of his replies to the reviews. Now i get scared of him.Be careful.......... YesAnd i have more 5 stars reviews for other businesses than this....
Very tasty food 😋 and very reasonable pricing 📣🎖️
Tasty indian food, especially their chhole bhature and samosa are awesome. Decent prices. Its a small grocery place + eatery. Dont expect ambiance of proper dining restaurant.
A very nice and a small place for Indian Chaat and snacks. You can also find Grocery at this place neatly arranged. I thought the products are a few cents costlier compared to other Indian grocery stores
Good food, very reasonable price. Not a lot of place to sit and eat. You may want to pickup food to go.
Cheap indian chats small quantity taste is ok. But cleanliness is not so good
The best place to get Indians items, and their samosas are pretty much the best I have ever tasted anywhere else in US
Great place for getting Indian Chaat dishes. To mention a few, their Samosa is the best in business. Also the Chole Bhature is one of their popular dishes.
Love the chaats, samosas, chole bhature. Always consistent taste.
