Well I experienced something that does not happen very often in todays business world. Our account rep, Matt graves, from Document Technologies, stopped in at our office last week. He wanted to introduce himself as out current rep and wanted to check to see if there was anything we needed. I told him yes there was. We have a color copier that is 8 years old. Someone managed to lose a part off the machine. I showed Matt where the part should be. He assured me that he could get it for us within a week. I said thanks, took his card and wished him well. An hour and half latter Matt knocks on my door with the replacement part in hand. Needless to say I was shocked. The only word to describe this type of customer service is Outstanding. I have had a great experience with Document technologies over the past 2 years. Taylor Stinnett has been a valuable partner to my business. You will not find a more responsive rep. I started with a document management platform and have added their VOIP platform through 3CX as well. My previous VOIP provider had call quality issues that we could not solve. Taylor was able to pinpoint the underlying issue and provide a fix. Any time I need anything Taylor and his team are there. Larry Weightman, my service administrator is great to work with as well. The fact that they are a local makes all the difference. The amount of time I wasted on the phone with 1-800 nobody cares service departments was out of control. That is just something I no longer need to do. I also know when it comes time to scale my business, I have a resource to help walk me through the logistics. They bring great value.
If you want to be sucked into a long-term lease on a terrible copier and absolutely no way out of it without paying 100% of all your remaining payments, then this is your place. Despite having paid 4-5x what we couldve bought a new machine for (yes, I know this is how leases work), our machine has been patched together so many times now that weve sort of given up on most of the problems it has, and just have to work around it. Document Technologies isnt interested in our satisfaction or in any level of customer service - they dont want to hear from you. You also end up paying all sorts of extra charges (insurance, taxes, fees, handling, blah blah blah) every month that you didnt plan on.Please dont get suckered in the way we did - learn from our mistake so you dont pay the price as well. It just isnt worth it!

We have been working with Document Technologies for a few years now. Our account rep. / tech support Ron Francisco has always gone above and beyond to fix anything anytime. I have called him late at night, weekends, cought him playing golf and on vacation and in everycase he has done what he could to address the issue as quick as possible. The repairmen are not experienced. We called them for service, after our machine had a paper jam and the machine was giving an error code. Document Technologies came out, and gave me a quote ( just receiving the quote cost $140). The quote for repairs was $840 to $1,680, saying it would take 6 to 12 hours of service. I called another company for a second opinion. My printer was fixed in less than 30 minutes for under $100. I will not be using Document Technologies again.
I was very hesitant to move away from our previous company that we used for our office equipment for all the reasons that somebody doesnt want to change. However Document Technologies has worked hard and earned our trust and our business.
Seriously do NOT use this company. The owner Jason Parks is a scum back that takes used copiers, cleans them up, and then sells them for new for kickbacks in his pocket. STAY AWAY!!!
