Isnt this very similar to a Dollar General store?, only better. Better quality and more useful items ;-)They carry lots of low cost goods that you didnt know you want or needed. I specially like the kitchen tools, travel gadgets and Japanese snacks and children cute toys and stickers.

Great place, most items $1.50, which is a bargain. Cute stationery, cooking and baking accessories, household items, make up, even garden stuffs. Great snacks items too. Aisles are a little narrow, but you dont use the trolley so just need to maneuver if there are other patrons in the same aisle. Staffs are friendly.

We enjoy shopping at Daiso Japan because of the prices and most of products are from Japan. We have been different Daiso in different area but this on in Rosemead have more item than other stores.

I like the store in general but Im not much of a fan of the employees. As I approached the checkout line I was stared at by 3 employees at one register, I dont know if they were fixing something but they seemed bothered by me. Even as I was purchasing my items the cashier barely looked at me. They didnt give me my receipt close enough for me to grab nor did they offer a bag (which was .22 cents after I asked then declined). I didnt feel welcomee at all. I guess Ill save my money for another place.

Good selections of japanese dollar items (1.5 dollars for most of items)

This is one of the nicer and larger Daiso locations we have been to in the San Gabriel Valley. The snack section is pretty large and comprehensive. They also have a large Disney section, cute storage bags for the wife and kids, lots of household knick knacks. They even have Disney licensed splatter guard for your stove. Plenty of items dont fit the $1.50 model but they have a guide to know what the price is. Will come again.

This is my first time coming to this location. Just discovered it! Its been open since 2013 (an employee answered me)! Anyways, much smaller location than the one in San Gabriel. I only had 5min to spear so it was good enough for me. Just come see the cute stuff u dont know u need or want for a buck fifty. Kids and teenagers heaven.

Its hit or miss when shopping here. Its all timing whether you will find what you are looking for. They had lots of inventory and I found a few things to purchase. I was looking for specific items which I did not find.

I was declined going into the store during business hour by the store manager Anthony. I really feel sorry for Daiso to have a store manager like him. All he wants to do is close the store earlier and go home earlier. Im not the only one declined today. He says because he already declined the customer ahead of me so that he cant let me in either. I think this is how you push all your customers away. This is definitely not what I expect from a Japanese Store. Ill never go to Daiso anymore. Not in this store with the store manager with this kind of attitude. Thank you Daiso.

Good prices on small items and nick nacks

Daiso is like the Japanese 99 cents only store. Like the 99 cents only store, not every thing is 99 cents. Most everything is a good value though.

Daiso Japan in Temple City is a treasure trove of everyday essential things and other curiosities. Kids love coming for basic school supplies, toys, and traditional Sanrio-like stickers and collectibles. Adults can find a veritable assortment of kitchen supplies, food stuff, and household wares that are both compact and useful. The shop is well organized,easy to get around, and very well stocked with more genuine made in Japan products. The aisles are neat and tidy, and the employees here are helpful and amicable.

Daiso Japan is an interesting Asian Convenience store style retail chain. It manages to simultaneously have: items Japanese people looking in America might want, items for American people wanting things that are Japanese, items American people think Japanese people would want, but only because of stereotypes, and items that were clearly purchased at steep discount and sold at a similarly low price, but isnt Japanese whatsoever.For this, I find it endlessly fascinating and grant it over 9000 stars.

Like love their stuff there. Especially their scented erasers its cute scented, and in my opinion even works better than Hi Polymer erasers. Their stuff there is just a billion out of a billion worth it.

There is a good selection of stuff. I try to about going there during lunch time only because parking lot get super crowded and it is difficult to find parking. Staff is nice and helpful.

Insufficient inventory for some items......

Customer service is the worst. Theyd get a 4 from me due to the $1.50 price mark, but that doesnt excuse how poorly the staff works. This rating is about my shopping experience and it wasnt pleasant at all. The owner or store manager whomever Daiso chose to operate this location, need to offer a friendlier environment to their shoppers. I wont be coming back to this location.

Organized, clean store. Each Daiso carries slightly different products so you may find something unique here. Parking can be chaotic here especially during lunch hours on the weekend.

This Daiso location is my favorite. They always have something new in the store. Make sure you go before 8:45pm, because they will start calling closing time over there speaker and even start turning lights down around 8:55pm.
