Had the trash plate. Plenty of food for 2 to share. Fries, chopped brisket, sausage sliced, beans, pickles, onions, and it is good. Sausage just ok. Got sides of potatoes salad & coleslaw & they were both good. Free refills on drinks. Also the place has a meat counter & sales meat.

Excellent BBQ, great service, high quality meat and a nice interior setting. For anyone traveling along the highway or in the area I highly reccomend stopping by here for an awesome meal!

Never a disappointment when you eat here. When I want to eat BBQ I go there. The other places around here have let their name and what they call fame get to the quality of their food. This place been consistent through it all. As soon as you walk in you smell BBQ. You know you cant go wrong with that

This is by far one of our top bbq places to eat. First time eating here, from brisket to the sausage, the beans and the potato salad and the macaroni and cheese and even the pickles it was all amazing this is definitely one of our top places to eat barbecue and eat food. They are amazing their service is friendly no weight we win at a good time sometimes there might be a wait but its very much worth it I highly recommend going here and eating if I could give it 10 stars I would.

5 stars easy! Friendly staff (son of owner) walked me through the menu. The 2 meat plate was great with some of the best brisket Ive had. It was so tender it kept falling off of the fork. Sausage also had a great spice profile without being overpowering. Now, I wasnt initially too excited about the non-fried side selection, but the cole slaw was probably the best Ive ever had. To top it all off, they had some fried pies that put me in food heaven.

I dunno maybe I got there late in the day but my brisket was super dry, they were out of ribs and the sausage was alright.

I used to eat at their old location when I worked at Wilsonart. This was my first time visiting their new location. Other than being in a new building, it was just as I remembered - friendly service and great food to be had. I had some brisket and sausage, with potato salad on the side. It was all very good. I recommend stopping by if youre looking for some good bar-b-q.

Stopped in based on other Yelp reviews. I was overall satisfied with everything here. The employees were very friendly and helpful. My son got a chopped beef sandwich and I got a combo plate. The brisket, sausage, and ribs were all very good. They taste like smoked meat, not overbearing seasoning. The sauce is on the side so you can taste the meat, although the sauce did accompany it nicely. BBQ is all about meat, but the coleslaw and beans I got as a side were amazing. Dining room was nice and comfortable and had that old school BBQ joint feel. They also have a butcher counter with meats and cheeses. Definitely worth a try.

Very good quality for a very reasonable price! Great service and great atmosphere. Only draw back is the location, but that is only due to the I-35 construction. Will be recommending this to all my friends!

I really love this place. Came in once for brisket. I don’t care much for turkey but I tried the turkey here and I am now a fan — but only of their turkey. No other turkey will do. Everything is great. Don’t miss place if you’re visiting Temple.

Best quality meat and barbecue is by far the best barbecue that I have gone to since I have been in the south. As I go to many barbecue joints I am very picky about whether or not the meat can hold its own. This place has the best tasting meat EVER!!! Do not let the little mom-and-pop’s shop appearance fool you, as those who eat barbecue all know, that these are the best anyway! But not only that, this place is inviting with good old fashion and southern hospitality and with appreciation towards the military. Thank you best quality meats. Hands down, the best B-B-Q in Bell County! Location is a real pain to get to, as is the parking, but those inconveniences are forgiven once you start eating and interacting with the fun loving staff.On top of that, they are a butcher shop as well, so if you need a big juicy steak, or a rack of some real good ribs. They have you covered. If you want your steaks to literally fall apart, just ask Wayne to put some of his “battery acid” on it. You will love the results.

We occasionally order here for work. Hands down the best bbq in Temple. I was a bit leery about trying their trash plate when my coworkers suggested it. A plate with everything mixed in did not sound appealing but now I’m hooked, it’s the only thing I order now.

This is a really good place to eat the barbecue is real tender it was cold I really didnt like that the beings had a more ranch-style taste to them so they were a little spicy potato salad was really good overall I would recommend this place but probably as a takeout order

Food is always good. Theyre a staple in Temple. Not as fancy as Clems, but Best Quality refuses to sacrifice the qualify of their food for a fancy building.
