We needed a lens out in a pair of glasses made in the store. We didn’t buy the frames from them and they were still willing to help us out on the fly. These wonderful folks were able to make and fit the lens on the spot in less than an hour. We purchased glasses from them in the past too and have been pleased. The customer service we received today was amazing. we will be driving from Belton to come back to this store again! Thank you!

These guys are TOP NOTCH! Super friendly employees. I wish Id found them sooner. They dont hover over you while you choose your frames but they do steer you to ones that flatter your face. I was told by one of their competitors that I couldnt see well because I hold my head crooked...but their technician has me seeing clearly!

Learned of this wonderful place from my wifes visit a couple of years ago. Dr. Cook noticed something in her left eye and sent us to a great specialist. Though not cancerous, still a concern. So after experiencing this, I knew Id choose them for my eyes when needed. So yesterday I went in for newer glasses andes it was fantastic! Professional and easy going. Everyone their were superb! Thanks to this entire staff! 🤓

I’ve been a loyal customer of Temple Vision for about 20 years. Today I came in to pick up my glasses and asked if they could get me in to see Dr. Cooke because there’s something going on with my eye. The receptionist was so kind and worked to get me in today! Yay! I’ve always appreciated this office but today seals the deal!

**UPDATE**I WAS JUST ASKED TO REMOVE MY POST. WORKING FOR A DR OFFICE, THAT IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL THING YOU CAN DO. INSTEAD OF APOLOGIZING, THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT A BAD REVIEW! SORRY, TEMPLE VISION CENTER, BUT I WILL NOT REVIEW MY POST. I am so disappointed in the staff that handles contacting you when your eye wear is done. My daughters glasses were supposedly done back on May 13th, I was contacted and left a message. I called back and was informed that they needed to send them back to the manufacturer on the 24th to due to a chip in the frame and that they were now on back order. I was contacted today, 6/22/21, by a staff member who was rude, and told me by Childs glasses have been ready and needed to be picked up. I asked her why I was never contacted. She said that I was contacted on the 3rd. Wrong. My phone log said otherwise. I wanted to speak to her supervisor. She then placed me on hold for 11 min. While speaking to manager Heather, she stated that all phone calls were recorded. Which is great! I want to listen to that mysterious call from June 3rd and I also wanted to listen to the call when I was told her glasses were on back order. I have never had a problem with them until now. But they were trying to put all blame on me, and make me feel bad for them dropping the ball. They need to get their act together.

Great experience. Best eye doctors in Temple. I was in and out in less than an hour. I’ve never had an issues with my prescription. Their customer service is remarkable. I ran out of contacts a couple weeks before my appointment and instead of having me order a full box of each, they offered me a pair of trials to keep me supplied until I got my eyes rechecked. Don’t get them confused with what used to be TSO. I’ll pick Temple Vision any day of the week.

I saw Dr. Cook last year during the Covid 19. I wore a mask as did his crew. Today I called to schedule my annual eye exam and was told I would be considered a walk-in as I missed 3 appointments in 2020!!! I was in lockdown in Cameron,TX for most of 2020 and actually did cancel all text reminders (not being a no-show) I hope Dr. Cook is happy with his decision to make such a requirements for old patients.

After many years (maybe 10) this has been a great place. this year was the first year I had trouble with my new glasses. unable to see clearly with them. after some adjustments was told to take them home and try to get used to them. after many calls with questions was told they would find answers and get back to me. this was 3 different calls about a week apart. with no answers to my problem or any kind of communication from them. to me this is poor service great place if you have no issues, once a problem arises your out of luck with any help.

We had an appointment today at Temple Vision, and we are so happy with our experienced with them today. My son, has Autism, and Mazen, the Technician was so nice and patient to my son, he was very understanding and I appreciate the way he treated my son with care, respect and Kindness. Dr. Cooke, was awesome, he has a very pleasing personality that makes me and my son very comfortable during our appointment. He is very considerate, compassionate, polite, professional and I am very happy that he was so nice and understanding to my son, and even answered some personal questions, when my son asked him about his children😊. I also appreciate the help we had from the Lady at the Eyeglasses section, I didnt get her name, but she was extra helpful and patient in helping me and my son choosing the right glasses for us. The lady from the reception was also nice to us. So we will definitely going back to them and I highly recommend this place with a great team.

Friendly staff. Exposed tattoos seemed unprofessional in office environment.I liked Dr Cook, he seem to take his time finding the right contact lens. Office looked new and updated on the inside. The equipment looked new and high tech. Very happy I left Temple Vision Source (formerly TSO) and tried Dr Cook.

Its a great place. the receptionists, assistant, and Doctor were all great people and did a great job answering any questions I had.Main problem is the people that sell glasses next door... arent very aware of the customers they are receiving. They knew I was uninsured and let me know of their 20% discount... but they then recommended expensive glasses? Like, I understand I didnt tell the clerk my budget, but I shouldnt have to if she has information like that. Uninsured people tend to have pretty tight wallets and are looking just for functioning frames, not fashionable ones. I got my frames elsewhere, but I will gladly come back here for future exams.

I took my daughter here for an annual eye exam. She is 4 years old and she was treated very kindly for her age. They were patient with her and were able to determine whether or not she needed glasses. The staff was so helpful and Dr. Constans did a great job! Highly recommend this office for anyone in need of an exam.

***Update*** 6/25/19I had a way better experience today than my previous visit. The staff was warm and inviting. They handled themselves in a very professional manner and made me feel welcomed. Transitioning went smoothly from my initial eye exams to meeting with Dr. Cooke. He was honest and apologized for my previous visit and did everything possible to help me have a great visit. Being a director myself I am so happy that he was able to talk to me one on one with this experience because it shows he really cares about his patients. He too was very professional during my exam and did an amazing job with helping me find the right contacts. I now highly recommended Temple Vision!(Previous Review)I had an appointment today at 14:30. I showed up at 14:00 knowing that there would be paperwork to fill out. I got called back at 15:00. I was told someone else had an emergency and was put in front of me. I was never notified or made aware of this change, until I was called back. I explained that I had other appointments I needed to get to so I left. Im a director at another clinic and I understand the stresses patients can put on the schedule especially when it is getting close to seeing another patient, but at least have the courtesy to talk to patients especially new patients like me, to let them know what is going on and to ask to have an appointment changed. I have a busy schedule and today being my first and only half day this month I was really hoping to get the services I needed today. Im giving yall another chance and I rescheduled but I had to take some time off because I know it wont take the 45mins I was told it would take.

This place is amazing. I had an amazing experience. From setting up my first appointment through paying out after my appointment. The technician explained everything to me that she was doing pretty much answering all my questions before I even asked them. She asked me about my cataract surgery when the other place that I used to go to didnt even address it. Dr. Cooke was amazing. The technician notified him that I was concerned about floaters and he addressed them as he was looking at my eye. He was very informative and took the time to tell me what he was doing in order to help me find the best prescription for both of my eyes (one near sighted and one far) without sacrificing too much of one. The contact fitting was great too. Dr Cooke told that technician what he was targeting for with my vision and the technician made sure to address them for me. The technician then took me to look at glasses. He explained my insurance to me and told the optical technician what we were discussing. The optical technician let me pick out my glasses without hovering over me. She answered all of my questions and told me that i picked good glasses because the fit was right for my face, my eyes and she also explained my insurance to me. Checking out was easy and quick. Ive never had a great experience like that before. Im definitely recommending them to any of my coworkers and friends. MUCH better experience overall than my previous vision place.

Dr. Cooke is great. He was the first optometrist to recognize what medicines I take and why they might impact my vision. He is very nice and the visit was quick but thorough. They have a pretty good glasses selection which is nice so that I dont have to go to two places. They also be sure to show you your bill and all the costs associated with any glasses or lenses you pick so that you know how much t is going to be.

I highly recommend Dr. Maloney and his great team at Temple Vision. They are always friendly and very fast. They take the time to make sure you are getting exactly what you need. I love that I can set aside a reasonable time and get in and out. I dont have to lose half of my day waiting to be seen. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

The person at the front desk quoted me the wrong price a number of times before landing on the correct amount. If I had not asked multiple questions, I would have paid triple the amount that I actually paid. Regarding the facilities and instruments, they are up to date and professional. Dr. Cooke is an excellent Optometrist.

All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. The interior of the building is recently remodelled and looks very neat and clean. Loved that they didnt have to dilate our eyes. Updated equipment seemed to have the latest technology.

Ive been coming to Temple Vision for close to 10 years probably. Wasnt a huge fan of the former optometrist (personality), but the staff have always been extremely professional and courteous. Ive been very pleased with Dr. Cookes approach and demeanor; he, personally, even helped me choose eyeglasses at my last visit. I love the feeling of being treated like a friend at a place that I actually only have to visit once or twice a year. The remodel looks great and the wider selection of trendy eyeglasses is wonderful. Ive referred friends and theyve been satisfied as well. Keep up the great work!

Wouldn’t change a prescription from a contact brand suggested by optometrist, to the one I’ve used and trusted for years. His reason being he didn’t know how they’d fit, he didn’t want me to hate them. Mind you I hate the ones he suggested.

Our initial service was good. My wife took a prescription in to buy frames and lenses but had to get a Rx change. That is when our experience changed. My wife asked if she could get the same frames in a different color and they said it would be no issue at all but when they came back a week later it was the wrong frame all together. When she showed they were wrong they tried to convince her they werent that different, probably because they cut the lenses to fit the wrong frames. With urging they took them back to get the correct frames and we are still waiting 2 weeks for her to get her glasses. Looks like Im getting mine elsewhere...

Temple Vision always gives me great advice and guidance. They have top notch staff and I am very happy with their services.

The atmosphere and staff are nice and friendly. They seem to have a good setup and move you through the appointment quickly. Ive never waited a long time here.However everytime I go I wind up with a much larger bill than expected. Their glasses are not cheap and despite insurance covering the lenses, there are always extra charges for thin lenses, UV blocking, scratch resistance, etc. which they push hard. This is fairly common, I know, so I dont really hold it against them.However when I tried to get contacts from them I was told when I went in that I would have no copay and that my insurance would cover the contacts. By the time I was done I had paid $100+ for various things.I will not be returning here and will be looking for a facility more up front about their costs.

I was very impressed with the time spent and the technology that was used to make sure my prescription was as accurate and the best alternative possible. I would definitely recommend Temple Vision to my friends and family.

We came here after we had been to scott and white- there we paid 230 for a check out and then told we needed to pay another 180 for a contact fitting and to get prescriptions for glasses. Out the door, getting a full checkup and contact fitting with lenses we paid much less than scott and white. The entire visit was very plesant, with the whole staff being extremely courteous and knowledgeable. My fiancé has bever seen better between her new contact prescription and her glasses. We would not hesitate to recommend anyone else to them!
