We have an issue that isn’t super urgent… however, when calling on Monday morning we were told up front they couldn’t get to us until Wednesday and that they would call and let us know when. It is now Friday and I have not heard hide nor hair from them. I always try to keep my business local, but I can’t do business with someone who can’t bother with the simple courtesy of a phone call. Do better guys.

They came out a day early and fixed a garage door that wouldnt open. It took less than an hour and cost much less than I thought it would. No problems at all. Highly recommended!

Apparently they are too busy to accommodate new customers, despite promising to send someone. 3 tries, 3 no call/no shows.3 strikes, youre out.

I have been waiting for 7 days to get me locks fixed on my doors. I was told they would be out next day. No show, no call. I can not leave my property due to unlocked doors. I can not even go to work. Today is now day 8 still no show so I called for the third time. They had to order my parts which came in yesterday. Was told they called and left a message but I have no msg. It is late today, they told me once the guys came back to the office they would send to my house. This is the second time they told me that.The employees are friendly but this does not help me to get my doors fixed.

Ordered a new garage door and new garage opener the second week of November, 2020. It’s now February, 2021 and we’re still waiting. We used to never even consider anyone else because they were so good. Not sure what changed as I don’t think we can completely blame Covid. Always say that they’ll call us back and never do.

What a wonderful company! I had used silicone spray on the wheels and hinges and it still squeaked enough to make the neighbors come out of their houses and wonder what was going on, cell phones in hand to quickly dial 911 if necessary. Mr Palousek came out and had the horrible squeaking fixed in minutes! I am so grateful.

Torsion spring broke.Richard the tech called to tell me when he would arrive.Upon arrival he told me what he was going to do and the cost then he went to work. In less than and hour he was finished,he did a thorough job installing spring aligning and lubricating door. Richard was very knowledgeable, courteous and fast...very fast! I recommend Palousek to anyone needing garage door service.

My garage door sealed terribly when I bought my house. I had two lizards and a snake come into my garage. I thought I needed to replace the door or at least the bottom section. However, Donnie came over and checked it out thoroughly. Instead of suggesting that I replace the door, he suggested a fix at about 10 percent of the cost of just one panel of the door. Now, my garage door works perfectly and the local landfill did not inherit a garage door. Its refreshing when you come across a contractor who does not push for lucrative solutions.

Palousek Overhead doors installed a new double garage door for us a few years ago. This past week, after we closed the garage door on a big trash can not once, but twice, I called for a repair and they came out the same afternoon to look at it. 20 mins after coming to look at it, it was repaired. I was really pleased with the prompt professional service. I see a lot of garage door companies in the area and some are pretty recent. I dont know what they are like, but I can say that Palousek is honest and reputable. I can recommend without hesitation

My husband called this company for an estimate. The person with whom he spoke said they would come out the next day. My husband waited all day for someone to come but no one ever did. I called the company and was told there had been a death in the family-I was truly sorry to hear that; however, one would think that a secretary or receptionist or somebody would let clients know that their appointments would need to be rescheduled.

Their driver Randy rear-ended me at red light. He told me to call the company and get all the insurance information from the them....big mistake. The receptionist was the only person i could ever get on the phone and she lied straight through her teeth about the company filing a claim. I was never contacted by their insurance or anyone to get the matter settled.

Called several times in the last 2 weeks for a technician to come out because I need 2 door operners. Receptionist has given me the run around. She was supposed to call Friday or today supposedly, as of noon I havent received a call back.

Palousek responded the next day when our spring broke. Responded promptly for a friend who had similar need.

Honest business who is not quick to sell you a new door or opener when all you need is a small part. If they can repair your existing opener they will.

I called in the morning and requested evaluation and repair of my damaged garage door. I was told someone would come to my home that afternoon or the next. No one came or called.

Stopped by to schedule a next day appointment and they never showed up or even called to cancel . My advise would be to call someone else if you dont want to wast time .
