CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY, PERIOD. I am on oxygen and cannot get them to deliver tanks as promised, ever. It always requires me to call multiple times. Excuses of shortages, they are busy, my order didnt go through to the right office, on and on. They love to tell me that I can always drive to Temple and pick it up myself. This is how they treat disabled customers? The only purpose of their business is to help disabled and sick people. They cannot get it together. I have been dealing with them for a year. If you call the main 800 number to tell them a delivery was missed, you sit on hold and when they pick up they transfer you. Then you get the answering service, sit on hold and then are told they will email the store and promise you a call back which never comes. If you try to call the store directly they dont answer and the call gets routed back to the answering service. Today I went through all those calls. A delivery was missed yesterday. I spent an hour on the phone mostly on hold. Got a promise of a call back. No one called, but later in the day I found a sorry we missed you note on my door. I was here, I have a loud dog...they did not knock or ring the bell. Guess what the note said....please call them!!! Right.

They never pick up there empty tanks or oxygen concentrator. I was told someone would come pick them up Thursday or the following Monday, so I sat around the house waiting for them to show up and they never did. I then called the next morning and was ensured that someone will be by to pick up the equipment the next day. Well once again they never showed up. I wasted 3 days waiting for them just for them to not show up. Its pretty sad that his current oxygen company even told us that we were gonna a hard time getting someone to show up and pick up there equipment. Im at the point of taking up there myself. I just want it out of my house.

They were somewhat prompt when they delivered the oxygen but did not give instructions on how to use. First time I requested for a refill they didnt show up, second time they said I had to order 3 tanks for it to be delivered and they still didnt show on the schedule day. 3rd time after 3 phone calls got and appointment, but they never showed up....

Communication with this company is at a 0. I was promised this bed on August 18 for a nearly 92 year old, although the bed was ordered by the hospital on August 10. They did not deliver until August 20, until about 10:30 am. I called the afternoon of the 18 and was promised a call back of delivery time, didn’t happen. Called them on the 19 and was promised a call back within 30 mins of delivery time, didn’t happen. My health insurance called them and did a three way call and we were promised a call back of delivery within an hour, didn’t happen. Late morning I talk with patent care at the hospital and they called them and was promised a call back in the hour, didn’t happen. Late afternoon I called them back, demanded to speak to the manager and was told they were real busy and would try to get it to be on the 20. Delivery msn was wonderful!!! Company horrible. They promised will chair delivery to the hospital on the 10, didn’t happen and my daughter had to pick it up on the 11. The BEST thing is FO NOT USE them!!!!

This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with.The people I talked with have no clue what customer service is. In two days I spent more than an hour on hold and still never got any answers. Then they would not let me talk to a manager. I left word with the sales rep to have manager call and the last person I talked with in the office to have the manager call. Guess what still no call. The sales rep busted his butt to help us get set up and thats was it. They will not get another cent from me. I would advise not to use this company under any circumstances.!!! There are other companies that would be glad to help and do business with you.

I had the greatest experience with American Home Patient. The Device Specialist was great and made sure I knew everything there was to know about the machine I was taking home. Everyone in the office was cheerful and welcoming! Thank you American Home Patient for your help and providing excellent service during these trying times! Marie and Darrel were awesome folks to do business with!

My experience is very similar to the other reviews. This local agency is just horrible. I would recommend any other supplier. I unfortunately found myself needing Oxygen therapy after my stay in the hospital related to COVID-19. The hospital chose American Home Patient to deliver and set up my oxygen machine. The machine was set up with the wrong humidifier. I called every workday for a week to get the correct humidifier. Each day I was told we will have the technician contact you. After a week I called and got someone at Lincare corporate office. He called and I finally got a call from someone at the local agency and she gave me a tracking number for the correct humidifier. The package cam in the next day and it was the wrong humidifier. Called local shop, got nowhere. Called guy at corporate office he says he spoke to them at the local office and I would be hearing from them to get the correct humidifier. He called back about a hour later, the local shop had informed him that they spoke to me and the issue was resolved. I informed him that no one had spoke to me and the issue was not resolved. He called back again and informed me that they would ship out the correct humidifier. That was over a week ago and I still have not gotten the correct humidifier. I finally ordered on Amazon.

This is my third dealing with this place, hoping theyd get better but they get worse. They put you on hold and are hung up on, then you get an answering service to take messages at midday. Then they promise to deliver next day and still havent received 3 days later. They are the only one that carried the item needed this time or I wouldnt have used them again. Medicare ought to cut them off..

After less than stellar service from their local competitor I came here. Marie was extremely helpful and gave me the information I needed and the time frame it usually requires. I appreciate their willingness to help all customers not just the ones they choose.**UPDATE** Time frame was right on. Sally did my mask fit and gave great information about my new mask and machine. She was easy to talk to and knows her stuff!!!

So far it is very difficult to rate this company. I know It takes an act of Congress to speak with anyone and it will not be your local individuals. You will speak with people from all different states and still will not receive a call back when requested. It has been about a week from the date my Doctor sent in my prescription and still do not have the product needed. I wish it were much easier to speak with a local person and be able to get a resolution within a much faster and more efficient time frame.

If there was a way to select lower than a 1 star rating I would have selected it. They are very helpful in order to get you signed up, but customer support requests and help dealing with incorrect billing is non-existent. Very disappointing.

This is the worst place I have ever done business with. All they want to do is get their claws into you by having you sign for equipment. Then they bill you and the insurance company both for the same items. I have been trying for 3 months now to get a freaking bill resolved and cant get anywhere with them. THEY SUCK !!!!!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Ordered a Peak Flow meter, was told it was a cpap machine, finally got the correct equipment picked up (5 weeks later). The woman at the front desk was RUDE! And when I did get the equipment picked up, I was called almost a week later told they have my peak flow meter ready! The service is just horrible all around!

Will rush you off phone an act like they were bothered being called by people needing equipment to LIVE. Asking Well what do you want? WELL, ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED? My mother called twice in one day an was certainly treated like she was supposed to improvise when needing more tunes. The women there dont need jobs that are customer service related.

I find when I deal with the main offices of American Homepatient/Lincare on the phone I get outstanding customer service & care. I have to give the Temple office 1 star because the receptionist is rude/belligerent and should not be working with the public. I would give the Temple office a lower rating if I could, simply because I have never had anyone in a receptionist position consistently treat customers so poorly.

Most unprofessional place. Lady at the desk took my paperwork and said would call me in 2-3 days. I called the main office and found out they haven’t even processed my paperwork after having it 10 days. Now my order has been ready for 2 weeks and they didn’t call me. They said they called me but they didn’t. I call them and always get sent to the main office in Tennessee and they can never help do anything! I do not recommend using this place to anyone.

Terribly unprofessional business. After many calls and visting the store in person, to cancel supplies. They keep billing and sending equipment. They have mixed up billing and accounts, the people working there are rude and very unhelpful. I believe they need to be investigated for fraudulent billing practices. Stay away from the place! Also they recently called my elderly father and said his supplies were ready to be sent out. He hasnt order anything from them for 2 years! He canceled his account 2 years ago???? Be aware😠😕

Calls go to a call center. They will not allow you speak to the local store. It results in playing the old telephone game. It is also necessary to repeat and correct each statement as the call center doesnt know the products. So each question results being put on hold, they repeat it inaccurately to the local store, then come back with an answer that does not address the question. To make matters worse the call center rep displays of being superiority over the customer and the loacal store.

My mother is a customer to american homepatient nas she is pretty reliant on them for her oxygen. My Grandma was a customer years ago and the customer service has went down hill tremendously. My mother has a concentrator in the home as she is having complete lung failure. However she complains the concentrator doesnt seem as effective as portables. My father has to go in the office to pick up refills because numerous times not enough bottles are being delivered or they forget to make it to our home for delivery. I want to make note if my mothers oxygen runs low and it is not delivered accordingly and something happens to my mother upon the service of this company I want my review to remain posted for liability purposes. I am angered this company told my father he can not come in office to pick up portable canisters that we have to wait until they are delivered. I will also be contacting corporate and making a report.

Avoid Them! They call you wanting to up sell you on CPAP parts. They call you on the 1st and 15th of each month at the most inopportune times. Then if you do need a part they cant help you. Requiring you go back to the Dr. for a prescription. Just order from Amazon. It will arrive faster and less headache. If they couldnt rob the insurance companies, they would dry up overnight!

Condition of my brothers release from the hospital was this company would DELIVER his nebulizer. Days later, still not delivered. Never bother to call. When I called the girl who answered the phone couldnt cares less. Said you can come get it. SURE, just let me leave my cancer stricken brother, who cant even walk, alone after days without medicine to do that. Too bad theres not NEGATIVE STARS!! We EVER need anything else Ill make SURE the Doctor DOES NOT CALL this place.

Was referred by Tricare to get my CPAP. Spent a month calling and giving them the same information over and over each time they claimed i didnt give them the information the time before and that they would call me right back, they never did. The last time i called they again stated they would call me back at a later time. Finally had Tricare switch my referral to another company 13 miles further from my place just so i didnt have to listen to their lies and deal with their poor service anymore.

Dealing with American Homepatient and Killeen office in particular turned out to be a real bad experience. In Dec 2017 I was looking for an alternate solution for my home oxygen provider. I called the Temple office were Melissa answered my questions and assured me that they do provide portable and stationary concentrators. Melissa advised me to use the Killeen office, so I tried to call the Killeen office but could never get thru to them and kept getting the home office. Finally I took a ride to the Killeen office and spoke with Ren Mante, I provided her with everything she needed to get me the equipment with Insurance paying the bill. Two - three weeks later I called to question what was the hold up, Ren informed me that they requested a new Medicare form from my doctor, I was taken aback since I had already provided them with everything they needed, I was upset they went behind my back. But I still needed the service, so finally on Tue Jan 16 Ren called to inform me that everything was processed and would be delivered on Wed. I reminded her that I wanted a portable concentrator, she said that initially I would have to use tanks, I said I would not accept their service if I did not get a portable concentrator. On Fri 19 Jan, they tried to deliver a stationary concentrator and oxygen tanks. I refused to accept them, sending the driver on his way. Wow, what nerve trying to cram tanks down my throat. I tried to call Rem, but wouldnt you know it I got the Home office again, were Elizabeth tried to school me and convince me that tanks were better and cheaper than a portable. I told her I would not argue with her, but that she was wrong, over the lifetime of a 5 year medicare contract, a portable was $2500 and deliver of tanks were over $12000 on average. Anyway I got so annoyed at Elizabeth that I told her to have a good evening and hung up the phone. They tried to convince me that I had to be an active patient before they could get me a portable, like really I look so stupid to trust you to provide me a portable later.... I dont think so. I immediately called another provider located in Belton and will have new equipment delivered next week... Dont appreciate the lies the time it took to get the paperwork thru their system and them going behind my back to my doctor. I Would not trust these people after what they tried to do to me and would not recommend them for oxygen service.

I went into American Home Patient in Dec 2016 and I still do not have my supplies. They said my paperwork got left in an office that had been closed and she started the process again in February and now she had the erong fax#. It took her 2 weeks to get the right one. I still dont have my supplies. I went to someone else and got them in 2 days.

This place only got one star, only because it wont post until you give them a star. It takes an act of congress to get these people to do anything. They wanna blame the doctors office, but what they dont know is we have a close relationship with everyone in the doctors office. Then when the doctors nurse sent the paper and we still hadnt heard about our order, we went into the place and was told, we got the paperwork, will send the order through. Really!? Why did it take us to go in person to get them to send in for the order after almost a week of receiving the paperwork from the doctors office!! GRRR!!!
