They brought my car in on time when scheduled, kept me updated on the progress and had me back on the road in a very reasonable amount of time. Great service! A major repair had to be done and I was 3,000 miles out of the warranty but The service reps talked to there rep and got Honda to agree to pay for half of the repair cost. It was a huge savings and I really appreciate what they did for me. I’ve bought many new cars and Honda of Tenafly is definitely the best!
I rarely leave bad reviews but I had to for this one. I had an awful experience.. Im pretty young and a first time car buyer. During our consultation, we asked to see the Civic 2022s available but right away the person who was helping us said that the lease would be $500 per month. We felt very much like he was trying to take advantage of us.. We told him that was ridiculous and online it clearly says it would be between 200-300. At that point he got flustered and started looking online. He also got annoyed when we told him we were uncomfortable removing our masks. On top of that he kept taking phone calls during our appointment without apologizing for making us just wait and listen to his calls. I dont think he wanted to do business with us which is why we told him wed like to look elsewhere before making a decision, at which point he told us our credit would probably get denied anywhere we go. If it was sound advice, I wouldve taken it but he made it a point to sound very condescending. The other dealerships we visited all told us our credit score was excellent and we wouldnt have an issue getting approved.
Brought my Honda RRV in for routine servicing and to take care of a recall software issue. The service representative, Alexis was efficient and knowledgeable. She made sure I was updated throughout the service experience, and sent me a text the following day to make sure that the car was working properly. The service department was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this dealership!
Alexis was very friendly and super helpful. They were very accommodating. I did not want to enter the building because I am immune compromised and it is the covid pandemic. They were able to help me so I never entered the building got the service done and picked up my car without coming in contact with another person. Excellent service!

The salesman Arnold Bang here is so unfriendly.When I bought the car, I didnt hear from the salesman that the oil change would be covered twice in a year only at the tenafly point.So I knew that it would be covered at any point, so I did an oil change at the Paramus branch at first. However, it was not covered, so I paid for it, and only after calling the Tenafly branch found out that it was only covered there. Today I did an oil change at Tenafly and I was told that the cover was not covered because it was over a year old. When I called before, nobody told me there was a deadline. I got a call from Arnold Bang. He said that he unilaterally explained to me, and he only spoke his argument unkindly. When I explained the above process, I said that I did not understand it at all, but I made my own claims and made me think that I was a liar. I can understand what makes me really angry if you kindly explain it to me, but I couldnt understand his attitude of only insisting on his own evasion of responsibility. He is a very unkind person who doesnt even know the basics of sales.

I, a customer, met fewer sales phases and spent lesser time than most other dealers. Negotiations of my trade-in were more transparent and less hassle compared to my experience at other dealers. Mr. Rioss kindness and patience were extraordinarily impressive. Since Im an old-school guy, I am not good at mobile phone apps and technology. He spent a lot of time helping me download the app, Android Auto, and teaching me how to connect my phone to the new feature system Pilot has. I left the dealer with a smile on my face. I chose to wait for my oil change - took longer than expected (a little over an hour), but they offer to give you a ride home if you don’t want to wait. My appt was also at a busy time (12pm), but they have the comfiest sofas in the waiting room and they have massage chairs too! Super orderly and Emily was very friendly - thank you!

I first brought my 2017 Honda Civic to my personal mechanic because my AC was blowing out warm air. My mechanic told me that VERY few personal mechanics have the recharger and I probably will have to go to Honda dealership to have this done. I personally never liked dealership service departments after my personal experience with my other vehicles.I walked into the service department at Honda of Tenafly, and was greeted with a smile & Kaitlyn was very attentive and explained thoroughly. After I left the car with them, they gave me updates on the vehicle & I couldn’t be more satisfied. No misleading fees, nor any “surprise repairs.” I will definitely come back to Honda of Tenafly service department for all my Honda related maintenances. Let me save you the time if you are looking for a car at this dealer. I went and looked at a BMW X5 with Julio as my salesman. He was the least helpful salesperson I have ever dealt with in my life. The second point is even bigger than the underhanded tactics the dealership employs, it is the fees. I gave them an offer on a car and they came back with $4,600 in fees. They advertise the prices of the cars as low but pry on people not looking at the final number. I would recommend you steer far away from this dealership and how they try and deceive people.
It’s a great little SUV that handles like a car but quickly converts to an SUV when I need to load it up. It’s a great vehicle, and I really like the style too. The HONDA TENAFLY handled the transaction smoothly with the help of Mr. Ronnie Manuel and Mr. Arnold Bang. I had the best experience and would highly recommend this dealership.

Dont come here!We went to check out a Nissan Rogue--in which was in very poor conditions, and even had a donut and dirty trash within the seats and floor!-- with a lady named Lynn Gerber. She was kind at first but then once we spoke about finances, her attitude completely backfired on us. She wanted to scam us, and add sneaky extra loans that would result in the car being 26,000 as opposed to 8,000! And after calling Lynn out on it, she had the audacity to tell us that we did the math incorrectly--when in reality, we did not do it wrong. These people just want to scam you for your money. Dont come here and do not trust them!!

I was in need of a part for my car. I used their online portal to request it and I described in detail what I needed. No one ever got back to me so I went into the shop to talk to them. They were kind and helpful and we discovered they had the metal part but that the part I needed was on back order due to the pandemic. This was fine. We said tough luck and I went home to continue my search. A week later I get a call asking me to come in that the part came in. I said are you sure because I need the whole part not just the little metal part. They said yes the whole thing come in. I said okay il come in. I go that same week as agreed, I confirm with the receptionist who sends me to parts to confirm with the parts specialist that it is the whole underbody part to guard the engine. After leaving my car with them for the day and coming back I ask once more if they were able to install the entire engine splash. She says no it was only the metal piece. She looked at me and said I should have confirmed with them and said something. I said I did. I did say what I needed in detail countless times every step of the way. She didnt own this mistake of hers she blamed me she didnt even offer an apology. Instead brought out a manager I presume to explain how they made it work and that it wont fall off. Still no apology from the parts specialist and if that metal splash shield falls off I expect them to take care of it because I dont see how its fair for me to pay double labor to get something I didnt want or ask for. They promised me that it wouldnt fall off and that if it did to come back. Well lets see how long that promise is good for because replacing the entire thing would have meant at least another decade with no issues
At first glance, it seemed like a typical car dealership. I was assigned to Eddie Singh. He seemed friendly, but his lack of knowledge of Honda Civic 2021 was concerning. I didnt think much of it. Then I asked for a test drive which he let me take the car by myself (Im assuming COVID related). He couldnt even find the car in his own lot. Then I came back and thats where I felt cheated. First of all, their MSRP is $1-2K more than what Ive researched online. They have recently introduced the 2022 model which was $5k more than the 2021 model (were talking about a $32k car for base model Honda Civic 2022 at this point). When I presented my research findings and what I felt the car was worth, he dismissed it by saying there was a chip shortage and that they had limited number of cars, which was fair. I didnt feel like this place was the right fit for me and said Id think about it. Of course before I decided to leave, they had to bring the manager or supervisor. They helped crunch some more numbers and gave me a whopping great deal of $500 off and that was the best they could do. They even reassured me that I shouldnt think about this deal too long because the car will be gone by tomorrow. Needless to say, they kept calling me and leaving voicemail almost everyday for about a month afterwards stating that my Honda Civic is waiting for me if I still want it.TL;DR there are better deals in other dealership

Not impressed. Went for an oil change thinking I’d spend $50. Left spending $470. The price was not clear as I was only addressed via their mobile app. When I went to pick up the car, I was floored. Horrible experience. Get a Tesla so you’ll never have an oil change. Based on Honda at Tenafly, you’ll save yourself money in the long run.Also, I asked them to fix HondaPlay (coordinate with my iPhone). They did not help fix the problem.Disgusted.
I went to honda of tenafly with my wife after going to several dealerships (3) Lidia spoke with us for 5 minutes showed us the car we had in mind the price was a bit higher (which made us nervous) then she spoke to the bank and got us a very good rate and our payments was within our budget. We spent in total only 3 hours and we left with a low miles CRV!!! Great job!!
