The UPS Store in Tenafly has the best service. Fast, and efficient, customers are out of there in no time. When crowds come in, they are taken care of and crowds leave quickly and efficiently. The kindest of men work there and they are ready to help, assist and do so with care and I cannot stress enough how fast they manage the flow of their store. .

We needed some help during a stressful time (following a family death) with shipping a large, vintage mirror. We decided to try the Tenafly UPS Store as it was convenient for us. We dropped off the mirror, and Peter and his team made it easy for us by locating a box and packing it using a variety of protective materials. It was not inexpensive to ship (>$300). However, it was quickly shipped off but, unfortunately, it suffered some damage on its journey West to us. Fortunately, it had some insurance coverage and a safe packing and shipment promise from the store. We took photos of the damage, sent them to Peter, and he filed the claim paperwork. He even followed through to ensure we got the check! It was a great service to us at a difficult time. Wed recommend using them for even a challenging shipment!

It’s just a UPS store. But it means something that everyone here is always super cool and helpful. And they really do have a mind blowing assortment of services beyond just shipping. Business cards, business promos, packing supplies, paper, office supplies, banners, signs, and now they have a huge color printer so they can make you a fantastic poster of any good picture you have! And they have ups boxes too, if you need a business address! Highly recommended.

The rigidness of the workers at this location and their inability to recognize circumstances around their own policies feels devoid of warmth, understanding and self-awareness. It creates an atmosphere that is very off-putting and cold, which I think overlooks a fundamental part of the policies in the first place.

Huge kudos to Albert for going an extra mile with the customers! It was already 6:30 and few folks(including me) still in the line. He didnt turn us down and stayed for another 10-15 minutes to get all our packages.Thanks!

Very unpleasant workers and poor customer service. I understand there is a pandemic but if a 85+ Year old needs to come inside the store due to the frigid and cold outdoor weather don’t tell him to step outside due to the 3 person limit. Where is your compassion?The store manager is not able to handle his staff. I’ve seen numerous issues at this store. Arguments between customers and the workers. I am not sure what is going on at ups Tenafly but avoid, avoid avoid!!!!!!!!!!!

A few days ago I needed a painted metal vintage hamper sent to me from this store to VA. My main concern was that it arrive without damage, mainly dents. It did just that. Yes, it was expensive to send. Just over $100.00, but it was packed perfectly and with much care. I knew what a new hamper, that I would almost like, would cost...and so I was fine with paying what they asked. The new one would have cost that much or more and I wouldn’t like it, much less love it, the way I do this one. I’m happy.

Im sure I probably messed up in processing my Amazon return properly but have no fear--Melissa solved all my problems and even advised me how to receive a refund from Amazon for the extra shipping bag I had to purchase to complete my return. I love this store! All the employees are most helpful but Melissa is the best!

I don’t know what’s going on right now but I was returning an item I previously bought from amazon. I never had this much attitude people here are usually courteous and happy. I saw different people so maybe bees staff I don’t know. The thing is this lady 1st tells me that I can’t return that item there with the code that Amazon send me. I’m like I have ALWAYS done this at this store and NEVER got an issue. Well we can but you have to emailed it to me. Then ohh but it’s gonna cost you. I’m like that too, what else ( I was thinking) your job is to tell me my options and if is gonna cost me how much- that’s it. Not saying NO to literally everything. Then I had to pay for a box too. Ok find. Then I asked can I pay with Apple Pay, she saids NO, right away with out even thinking and then she goes ohh yes we do take Apple Pay. And to make it even worst some how I’m still waiting for the refund of the item. Usually when they scar the item into their system amazon processes the refund immediately. Now you decide what could have been in my case. Very sad the trips to return amazon items (which didn’t happen often) to this store where a breeze, now is a struggle you have to get an attitude, you have to pay for it including another box and on top of that you don’t get your refund cause item still in transit. SMH

This branch always has issues. The people who work here are pleasant but there is no cell service in the store and the equipment is constantly broken or up for repair. Ill never make another visit here since they cant seem to get it together.Better off putting a regular post office in its place.

Absolute crooks! Will not accept reused UPS packaging so they can charge you for new. They will charge you to tape the box! Love to support local but not this place.

This place tried to take advantage of an elderly woman by upselling her repackaging services. Very shameful!I went in here to drop off an Amazon return, took over 10 minutes. There was one elderly woman in front of me sending a box containing a record player, records, and dorm room stuff to California. How do I know this? Because the single employee in the store asked her what’s in the box. He also asked her what it’s worth. He then started feeling the box and said, “Uh oh, this is no good, there is too much air in the box, I’m concerned for your items.” He then offered to repackage the entire shipment with a new box and bubble wrap. This wound up costing the lady over $30. He then told her it would be $88 to ship the box. The poor lady was about to spend $118 to ship a box to California that was only worth $150. The lady asked why she couldn’t just buy a few dollars worth of bubble wrap herself. The guy said that if she did that, he couldn’t guarantee that nothing would break. The lady said she would take her business elsewhere, and the UPS employee wouldn’t let it go. He kept saying “In my professional opinion, you need a new box, and you need me to repackage it for your”. What an up sell. During this whole thing, a line of 6 people formed. The guy was oblivious to the fact that there were other customers in the store. I’m never coming back here again.Why would anyone pay $30 for a brand new shiny box and bubble wrap boggles my mind. These guys at this UPS are crooks. You can reuse your own box, your own tape, and your own bubble wrap and newspapers for a few dollars. They should be ashamed.I go to UPS in Closter. They are very good. In and out.

PROS: this ups store is very convenient, being next to the supermarket, and a good size. The people there are always very friendly and know what theyre doing. Theres tons of parking, a good amount of merchandise inside, and theres never a wait. During this covid pandemic, they went through proper measures to reduce the chances of getting sick. I was helped by a guy named Jsad (as written on my receipt), he couldnt have been friendlier!!CONS: They can sometimes be slow. I have to wait outside and it takes forever for them to checkout the customerOVERALL: I have no problem using this ups store again. Despite there being many around I still come to this one and theyre always waiting to help out
