We drove down to look at a 2015 Jeep Renegade. The sales guy made sure I know that it was a manual before we drove down and we all laughed when I told him thats why I was interested!! We got there and got approved quickly. We did have to go down the next day to pick my car up because we were out of state buyers and wanted to make sure everything was done properly. Absolutely love being their customers and we refer everyone to them!!

I bought a car from them for my daughter, who is a new driver. The car had an alignment issue which I knew at purchase. They also told me there was about 50% tire left and about 75% brake left. They showed me records of about $1500 of work done on the car before they put it up for sale. They said they make doubly sure everything is great, once in an external shop and then in their internal shop. When I took the car for alignment, the guy was shocked to see the insides of the tires were bald and steel threads were showing! The tires could have just blown up! He removed the wheels to check the brakes and guess what…. There was no brake pad left! I consider this criminal because they are not messing with just the cosmetics anymore! They are lying about safety and putting the buyer’s life at risk! Why not tell me the real condition of the brakes and tires, and still charge me the same for the car? They are out in the country, and country folks are good folks in general. But these people lie.

These people are crooks they take advantage of younger people who are not knowledgeable about vehicles. They lied about what specific work was done by their so called mechanics and then conveniently their mechanic could not remember what work was done. They will not take the vehicle back even though it has been less than 72 hours. We aske numerous times to speak to the manager and owner and were lied to over and over. Run away from these people especially the salesman JAVIER.

A United States Naval veteran purchased a vehicle from here. He’s young and little credit but trying hard. They told him 7-10 days for check to clear before he could have vehicle. Check cleared today from the Naval Credit Union so they have the money in their account and they refuse to give him the vehicle. This is theft in my book. They need to do what’s right and give the young man his vehicle he purchased.

They sold me a Lemmon. Clean from a glance. Motor knocking, fuel issues, bent wheels from a wreck. Lied about the warranty to my face so Id buy Im assuming.Tried to over charge the finance charge by almost 2k. When making my down payment.I went back to this place after a few years and several vehicles. Thinking I would be treated as I was before. But this is not the case. I am now in a lease with a vehicle that is gonna need a motor soon. That repair job will cost more than I owe on the car. (Sarcasm but not a lot)Granted I didnt inspect it too closely and thats my fault. But when I went in to get the warranty to be covered is when I found out I didnt get a warranty. So at this point I will not recommend this establishment from here on out. The more I talk to folks the more I hear horror stories. And thats sad. I had great experiences until now.

Predators preying on innocent people. Dont be their next victim. Almost killed my family! I bought a 2007 Jeep Compass from them, its still on the lot. Javier told me it had a little rust under the hood it was because it came from up east. I used to live up east so I understood that. Well 9 months into the loan there was some issues that came about. So, I took it to a well known mechanic shop. They showed me that the whole sub frame (bottom of the car) was rusted out. That at any point in time the jeep could have separated and we couldve died. Mind you I have two kids. This was my only vehicle. So, to hear that and never was informed about it. I was distraught, I had my 4 year old and 7 year old in that car. Then when I didnt make the payment Maria got an attitude with me. Then the owner called and I told him what happened. Then they said that they would put me in another car. I was ok with that until Clay did a 30% mark up and wanted me to drop more on the down payment. So, now I have this car hitting my credit because they sold me a piece of junk and put my life and my childrens life in jeopardy. Dont buy from them, they are crooks. Its sad that they would do this to someone and they remain open.

I had to use them due to personal circumstances and have had no issues for 2, almost 3 years of on time payments. 1 weeks of being snowed in, trying to call them and getting busy signals. I assumed they were closed because of weather. I went as far as to email through the site as if I wanted to purchase a vehicle, so I could explain I wouldnt be able to get my check till today. unfortunately, due to weather I still couldnt get my check. Their phones are finally working and I get a call with a threat of repossession. They confirm they received the email and basically nothing can be done on their end to assist with speaking to the financial company. I assured they would have their payment when I get my check on Tuesday. still threats of repossession. I guess understanding/compassion falls short here. I will no longer refer anyone. This was a freak situation out of my control and due to a pandemic, I as well as many others, are living pay check to pay check. keep this is mind when considering a purchase.

I looked at a car on line, went to the car lot to test drive someone was already looking at it so we left, was told to call back in a few hours was told by salesperson it was sold, then later that night a got a text saying the people wanting to purchase it earlier fell thru. So I made a point to go test drive it, drove to the dealership twice. Got there when they opened, test drove it, really was a nice car had a few minor issues but was fixable, husband inquired about the oil needing to be changed salesman said we can get that done and cleaned up, then he inquired about a extra key which was a special key. Once we went inside they were trying to charge us for a oil change, charge $200-$250 for a extra key then was wanting to change the price of the car because they had to do some detail and paint on the car, which didn’t look like it was done to me there was were still scratches where he said they fixed it. Long story short they were trying to tack on extra fees without us knowing because of stuff the should of already been done. Then the gentleman kept repeating several times we are already loosing money on this deal, not my fault.Stay away from this place they will try to charge or add extra for anything they can. My momma didn’t raise no fool.

This Dealer treated me very shady. I purchased a truck from them in 2015 and gave them a sizable down payment. I live in AZ and was working in TX for a few months. The day after I bought the truck I was informed that I was being relocated to New Mexico for work. I called the dealer and spoke with the salesman to inform them that I was being relocated for work, incase there were financing issues. He stated ok thats not a problem. 2 months later I get call from the dealer reminding me I was a few days late on my payment. I apologized that it slipped my mind due to moving to New Mexico and back to AZ. She then informed me that I wasnt authorized to take the truck out of state without getting approval. I expressed that I called to notify them and she exclaimed that sales person and finance mgr. no longer work here due to fraudulent activity, and the truck needs to be returned to the dealer. I responded stating I was AZ, she replied Ill have a tow truck come pick it up and transport back to TX. She stated there would be no negative credit bureau reporting. My downpayment or monthly payment werent ever returned they still ended up reporting to the credit bureaus of involuntary repossession 2 years later stating I owe over 11k for a truck that Im sure they resold.At this point they wont return my calls to resolve the issue. They were made whole in this situation, and Im left out of pocket and invalid credit reporting.

I checked out a 2007 Dodge Nitro RT. I test drove it and inspected it for its mechanical soundness. It needs some attention but the staff is very nice and attentive.

So I called this place like 3 times in a 2 week period to get a certain truck I wanted. First, the lady who answers the phone seems uninspired. Two, I was working with Mike only for him to tell me my truck sold. Now this is after I offered to go ahead and put my down payment down or whatever and come pick my truck up in a week or so until I have some time off. I called one morning and spoke with Mike gave some information and he told me he would call me back. He sent me a text saying one of the guys sold it last night. Go figure! I called another car lot with the same car, one year newer, same down payment, with less miles and struck a deal! I was not able to see the car and the salesman gave me a video tour of the car, the whole 9! Deal was done within 4 hours on a Monday, and picked my new truck up on Friday! Dont expect that type of service here!

Terrible experience, changed the prices of truck and tried to raise the price so high were i couldnt afford it. He thought... Then tried to offer me a raggedy truck with no A/C. Take your money somewhere else and deal with people who dont judge or discriminate.

I had a great experience with Zach at Texas Best Pre-Owned! I read all of the other reviews which most were not good. So I was a little skeptical. I waited awhile to write this review to give the car a few months with us but still so far so good. I bought the car as a first one for my son so it was for the ultimate precious cargo! In my opinion, Zach is the best thing happening at Texas Best! He was fair, communicated well, and got the deal done fast. He is the only one I would trust to work with there again! Thanks Zach and if youre still there, we will be back to get a car for my other son in a year or so!

Found the perfect truck for my family and I. Drove 3 hours to test drive it and sign the papers. Even called a day ahead to schedule a time to come in and explain my financing(100% financing). After signing all paperwork they said it would take 5 to 7 days before I could leave with the truck. When asked why they said so the lenders check could clear in their acct. Not how thats usually done but I said ok because I wanted the truck. Then they said they would need $1000 to hold the truck the lender and I both committed to buy. When I told them I didnt have 1k because nobody told me about it when I called. They said well we cant promise itll be here in the 7 days it takes for the check to clear.Lol Then 2 days later salesman calls saying they need me to drive back out to sign title paperwork. According to my lender all of that shouldve been done already the 1st trip. After all of this AND MORE I talked it over with the lender and backed out. HORRIBLE CAR LOT. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. Wouldnt recomend them at all.

I have bought plenty of trucks cash but i have never financed one. Zach was my salesman and he was awesome, he walked me thru the whole financing process and made it super easy to understand. Very polite and friendly dude. Didnt feel like a high pressured car buying experience, he made it feel like i was important and that we would get it done no matter what. Couldnt recommend him and all the staff at Texas Best any higher.

Honestly think all the bad reviews are from people who just didnt make their payments and got repoed. Everyone there is super nice and friendly and not high pressure. I went on test drives on 3 vehicles and all ran and drove perfect. Ended up buying a truck and would buy again.

They sold me two cars that I had to take to a mechanic. The miles they advertised will not be the same on the car. By a lot (10k miles )They’re getting three stars for customer service, but I think the amount of money I’m paying and having to fix everything is my fault for not just buying/leasing a newer car with warranty. Buyers beware on pre-owned cars.

I never make reviews but i felt like i had to for this experience. I usually hate car buying experiences but this one was very different. Mike was my salesman, hes only been working their for 2 weeks when i purchased my vehicle but he was very knowledgeable on all the financing aspects and terms. Was in and out of the dealership with keys in my hand in less than a hour! Mike you are doing a great job and keep up your hard work and dedication! BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I looked at an 05 Honda. I loved it and it checked out on a VIN check so I decided to purchase it. I did my financing through a loan company that has done business with them before. I signed the loan and scheduled a time to sign the final papers and pick up the car. When I got there they wanted to run my credit score. When I asked why they informed me that if I didnt have a credit score of at least 700, I would have to wait 7 days to get the car even though they had received the promise to pay from the loan company. Even the loan company could not convince them to release the car. So now I have a car that I have a loan on, insurance on, but is still sitting on their lot WITH the price still on the windshield. They told me they MIGHT release the car to me once they get the check but they made no guarantees. Once again,BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!!

Well after emailing the owner Jaime, I have a new confidence in this place. He agree to refund our money since they sold us a vehicle with a salvage title without telling us . Hopefully he stands by his word and makes this right. IF he follows through, then he will be a very honorable business owner and I will recommend them to anyone .I will post next week after we return the vehicle and post the outcome.

Will never buy another vehicle from them. I purchased a Dodge ram from them. The first time I text drove the truck, the battery was dead. After jump starting it, I drove it for a 15 minute test drive. All seemed fine. I went back the following weekend and it was still there. Again... The battery was dead. They jumped it and I drove it once more. After all was said I done I was on my way home with said truck. Low and behold, half way there the check engine light comes on. I call them and Jamie the owner tells me... Thats the risk you take with buying a used vehicle. When I went back up there in person... The sales guy ( keeping his name confidential ) who is a really cool guy informed me that they new something was wrong with it, and it wasnt by accident that the battery was always dead. I ran a test myself by disconnecting the battery and the check engine light comes on after 45 minutes of running EVERY time. I did this 3 times. So after 2600 dollar engine rebuild at my cost.... Buyers beware of this place. They may be all smiles on top... But not very honest business people underneath.PS... I bought it in the summer.... The AC worked great. But the heat didnt because it had a bad heater core. So yup... Guess who had to replace it as well.

This place needs a negative review and shut down. I like to keep small And family owned businessyes in business but this place place is a rip off.They dont honor their warranty, the mechanic has no clue, the owner is never their, and the manager is cluelessclueless. My sons Chevy Cruz has had 3 check engine lights on. This shop disconnects the battery so when you take it in a test drive you want see the check engine lights. This place is shady, the manager is clueless, and the owner doesnt honor is warranty. False advertisement and shady business. My car sat there 2 weeks and then the mechanic wanted to fight because I asked a simple question.Do not buy from them unless you want to be screwed over.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP. People who try and get over on you that’s for sure. My car went from $7700 to $13k I don’t understand how it’s that much and I had to replace the tires brakes and rotors within 1 week of having the car when it had 146k miles on it. Didn’t come with a spare tire either. The only reason I give 1 star is because I can’t put 0. The older white guy told me they were changing my oil and making sure my fluids were right and within 2 days I got a change oil light on my car. They also told me I had “full coverage” insurance through them but when I reviewed my paperwork it says physical damage only not liability. I will never buy another car from them again.

Absolutely terrible dealership. I purchased a car from this dealership that was overpriced (thats on me), but I was in love with it. The forward control needed replaced ($700), there were no bulbs in the headlights ($80 EACH), the tires on the car were too big for that car, the wheels hadnt been aligned and the entire car had been taken apart and reconstructed by someone who obviously had no clue what they were doing. I am 18 years and I am stuck paying on a car that I cannot even drive at the moment. The car has cost me thousands of dollars that I do not have. If you are considering any vehicle this dealership is selling, DONT!!! They clearly lied about their 72 point check, because the car was not even in good enough condition to be being sold. If they have a chance to hide something from you they will, and why would you want people with that kind of character dealing with your hard earned money? This dealership does not even deserve one star. I am taking time out of my day to save you money, trust me. 0/10

One of the most honest and sincere dealerships I have ever been too! They really had went over the vehicle and checked everything out before I had purchased it. My mechanic said it was in exceptional condition and what I really liked was they didnt play any games with me. They told me what the price and payments were and didnt try to change anything. I didnt think I could get financed anywhere, but they did it and it didnt take long before I was driving out. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!

This company fraudulently misrepresented a vehicle in order to trick me into buying it. It died 5 miles off their lot. Upon close inspection not a single iota of the work they claimed was done was actually performed, and in fact they had done work they didnt mention at all so poorly that the competent mechanic I took it to asked me if I had tried to do it myself because it was so blatantly wrong.They then tried to trick me into bringing it back to them to be fixed and they would be happy to finance the cost of the repairs for me. I firmly believe they knew exactly what the issue was and were simply trying to extort money from me.This place is over an hour away from me, even making the original journey here to purchase this vehicle was difficult due to my wife being disabled and actually allergic to the sun (she breaks out in hives within a minute or so and her condition declines rapidly due to medication she is on for her disability). These uncaring and unscrupulous individuals wont even mail me the tags and second key for my broken vehicle, as they had promised during the initial sale of the vehicle, without trying to charge me an exorbitant fee of $25 even knowing that my wife would be the only one able to pick them up, that its not possible for her due to her disability and sun sensitivity, and that I wouldnt make it home in time to get out to them.Zero scruples, zero customer service except to make a sale, and zero heart. Unless you are as equally ruthless and uncaring, stay as far away from this dealership as you can. I have bought a LOT of cars in my day, and this dealership is so bad they make the last guys that were at the bottom of my list look like angels.

A couple of years ago we purchased a pickup truck which was a little over priced but we did love it. It was clean, lifts installed, tinted windows and a bed liner. All which were part of the AD to sale. We got there with a check for $15,000 to pay in full which was the sale price. We did inform them we would be coming. Once we got there we had to wait OVER and HOUR for the son (owner) to get there with the truck. We did go out to look at it feeling he might have taken something off but didnt notice anything. However, the owners father said it still needed to be inspected and sent us to get it done. (So unprofessional; this should have been done already) We get to the inspection place and they said they had to remove the tint off the front windows. We were pretty upset. After they finished we noticed the bed liner was missing. We called the dealer and the father said the liner never goes with the truck. My son in law who we purchased it for didnt want to mess with it since they were headed back to North Dakota where they lived. Bottom line this place is very unprofessional and a cheap skate. BEWARE!!!!!!!! We also believe the owner had a substance abuse problem. The father had informed us over his divorce he gave the shop to his son (owner) during the hour wait. I guess so his wife couldnt benefit? Such CRAZINESS!! We will NEVER purchase another vehicle there again EVER. This place doesnt even deserve ONE Star.

Bought a 4Runner here. We paid $1200 up front with a balance of $800 due in approximately 30 days. Come to find out the vehicle has a salvage title which the owner just forgot to tell us. I will be complaining everywhere possible until he makes this right. I was told it is illegal for a dealer to sell a car that is in need of inspection?

Be very careful here. I was unfortunate to buy 2 vehicles here thinking with my bad credit I had to. Big dealers have a lot more pull and can get you a much better loan. A huge issue to me is I bought a truck over a year ago and at the point of purchase I mentioned the gauges didnt work. They said they will fix it. Long story short here I am over a year later and no working gauges ever. I finally gave up and traded the truck in on a brand new truck and got a much better loan. The major issue to me is how did this truck pass safety inspection and was legally sold without a working check engine light. Something seems wrong here. Do yourself a favor and avoid likely issues by shopping elsewhere.

I was never able to get a hold of anyone via email or phone to ask questions about the availability of some of the advertised vehicles which sucked as I ended up driving an hour each way to check out the cars listed. Things were made worse when I was left wandering their lot with no one coming out to see if we needed help until we went to leave. Remember me mentioning they were never answering attempts to contact them over some questions about their listings on the website, well that made the trip worse. The advertised prices on their website are for those who are paying cash only, not for those who will be needing to finance. Those that need to finance will be paying a far higher price plus the fees and interest that come with a loan. Even on the sketchy world of buy here pay here, used cars only places, this was a bad place.

Jason V was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Came to ask questions about a vehicle and deferring money till taxes came in. In 1-1.5 hour my taxes were filed, with $0 out of pocket I left with a Dodge Journey with a warranty for 4 years no cap on miles! Ask for Jason and tell him I sent you!

I would love to rate this place zero stars but I cant. I seen a few trucks online that I was interested in. Jasson told me the red F-150 ext cab lariot was sold. so I came to look at another vehicle. After arriving there at the dealer and looking over the other vehicle I ask Jasson if it was from auction and he answered yes. Atleast he was honest. Upon further inspection of the truck I found metal shavings on the oil dipstick when I checked the oil. I brought this to Jassons attention and he did agree that there was metal shavings in the oil on the dipstick. Not a good sign. On another note he did tell me of other problems about the truck and offered to take money off the asking price and or down payment. I told him I was not interested in the truck any longer because of the metal shavings in the oil. Beware of the vehicles you purchase or show up to look over. Im a mechanic and know what to look for. Alot of there vehicles have wear thats normal but I would feel better if they fixed the problems before they tried to sell them. Especially if theyre only needing ball joints, transmission pan gasket, oil pan gasket, u-joints, etc. I believe you shouldnt have to buy a vehicle from a dealer and take it to a shop almost immediatley.... to the person who bought the Red F-150 . I hope they do you right by fixing it. Im sorry to have seen it online and called about it only to hear it was sold and already hear the motor went out just a few days later. This place seems to be somewhat honest but I dont believe its worth the Hassle. Hope this helps someone......

JUST A WARNING!!!!! THEY DONT SERVICE ANY OF THEIR CARS honestly not sure they even check them out when they get them in. So just plan on doing a lot of work before having a good running car or truck. Buying the car was great Jamie and Javier worked great with me. But the fact I had to put over 900 bucks into the car in less than a week; and still have issues with the car not running right. Its actually at the shop again trying to find out why its misfiring just had new spark plugs wires and fuel filter replaced and still isnt running right...Also the A/C doesnt work in the car but cant afford to get that fixed until I can get the car running right....So bottom line is they clean them up make the cars look great but run like crap.....both truck and car we got from them have had to have alot of work done.....

Do not come here to buy a decent car. They are just fixed up auction cars and the down payments are too high for the type of cars they are selling

5 days late with a payment and they repossess my car.
