I was going through town and I had flat tire at midnight and I was coming back home ....They were super fast in a less than 28 minutes I was back on my way... thank you so much for the old guy and the the young man in the shop for the great job ( I dont give 5 stars to anyone but your crews deserve it and I wish if I can add more than 5 for there great service)

I took my car to this establishment for a brake inspection. I found this business operates in integrity. I thought something was wrong with my brakes . After inspection it was determined that my brakes were in good condition, I was not putting enough pressure on the brake pedal when I was trying to slow down or stop. I will definitely use Gateway for brake service in the future.

Poor customer service. I was told I needed a new battery. I got the battery replaced and 9 days later (in Dallas) the battery was dead. I bought a replacement battery near my hotel so I could drive home. I went back to Gateway and they offered to replace my battery and refused to give me a refund or even in store credit. They guy told me I should put our battery on and return that one back to Dallas next time you go. They sold me a battery that was defective and want me to drive a 3+hour round trip to return a battery that actually works. Will never return to that place for any service.

Replacedfront wheel bearing quickly and at a reasonable price

My husband and I were going to Branson, MO on Sunday, May 30 when we had a blow out on the Arkansas side of Texarkana. AAA sent a repair truck to fix the flat. The driver couldn’t get the lug nuts off because of they had overheated and were warped. They towed our vehicle to Gateway. We were able to get a rental car and continue our trip. I couldn’t call Gateway in Texarkana until Tuesday morning because it had been Memorial Day weekend and everything was closed. They got the key from the tow truck driver and replaced the flat tire with a new tire with new lug nuts. They contacted the Gateway Tire in Lufkin and told our manager what happened. Our vehicle was ready for us when we came back through on late Friday afternoon. Everyone was super nice, and communication was great. I highly recommend Gateway Tire in Texarkana, TX and in Lufkin, TX! Both places are about taking care of their customers!

I HAVE ALWAYS HAD GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE WHILE DOING BUSINESS WITH GATEWAY. ANYTIME I HAVE CAME IN FOR A FLAT TIRE, BUYING NEW TIRES, OR REPLACING A BATTERY; THE EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN EXTRA HELPFUL. ONE THING THAT KEEPS BRINGING ME BACK IS THEY DONT CHARGE AN ARM AND LEG.

Great work done at a great price! Thought I blew a head gasket coming into town racing a F-250 turned out I blew some hoses and messed up a alternator. They contacted me as they said on Monday since it was Saturday when I did the damage. They got right on and had it ready to go the same day. My second time using them in an Oh-Sxxt moment and I can say they always come through.

These guys are great. I have been in more than once and said something like, pretty sure my brakes and rotors are toast. They check it out and come back and say, nah! Your brakes and rotors are fine, we found a pebble wedged in there. Many shops would seize the opportunity to scam or at least up charge me, perform unnecessary work. I have found Gateway to be just the opposite

Was coming up I-49 when one of the tires on my trailer blew and stupid me didnt have the spare. Left the trailer under watch by my son (22 years old) and run the tire up to Texarkana. They told me it might be a little bit because of the jobs lined up before me. But when it slowed down up front, the gentleman working the counter (hate I didnt get his name) went back and put the new tire on and we were out in about ten minutes. A huge THANK YOU for the great service and getting us back on the road. Highly recommend them.

Was excellent when Tommy was there but he retired and now they now longer let you bring in your own parts & you pay the labor type of deal. We all know these places add to the price of parts to make money. Its always cheaper to buy your parts and pay for the labor. They do good work tho.✌️

Good honest people!Im a dealer in Dallas Texas, I had one of my employees broken down on the road in Texarkana a couple days. Mike, was pretty packed and had his bays full. but assured me that he can get my car in at least for a diagnosis and a word on what damages were looking at. (Texarkana was flooded at the time and all local shops in the area were dealing with the chaos). Unfortunately, the motor was hydro locked, and he gave me advice on what to do and how to approach the situation. They also held the car for me for a couple days until I could arrange a tow from Texarkana to Addison, Texas (Dallas). Thank you guys at Gateway. Stopped in because I thought I needed tires for my car because we are driving to Green Bay. Not knowing anything about tires, I Showed the guy my tires to get the size and he started feeling of the tread and he said “sir you don’t need any tires, these are only half worn” instead of trying to sell me tires I didn’t need he was honest and saved me money. Highly recommend this place!

Refused to mount and balance 4 name brand tires I got cheaper somewhere else then perform an alignment. Owner got sued was the excuse. Okee dokey! Dont worry, I wont be back! Plenty of tire shops around and happy to do the work. Correctly too. No problem!

I called to ask a question about why my wheel was shaking in my car. Tommy was quick to tell me what he thought it could be, gave me a solution and a price. Out of town for training. My tire light came on, I put air in the tire. The next day it is I again. I googled and found Gateway. They were extremely busy and it wad closeto closing. They welcomed me in, offered me water as if it was 9am. I told them the problem, I forgot the gentlemans name but we discussed Dallas traffic. I was in and out in no time. Was in a bind after my alternator went out as I was passing through Texarkana. This shop was amazing! They located an alternator and had me fixed and back on the road in about an hour from the time the tow truck dropped my vehicle off. They were honest, did good work and priced right. Awful experience. Came in to replace a wheel stud. Got an estimate. They ended up breaking two more studs, and wanted to charge me three times more than the time I had been there waiting. As I questioned their unethical practice, the manager Doug Emerson said to his colleague Let us take his car and sell it. Let us call the police. To avoid further unpleasant confrontation, I still ended up paying for more than the time I had been there, and they never took responsibility for the damage they caused during the process. Incompetent people with negative customer service. Stay away!
