Went to Shoe Carnival today, 6/25/18, and was very disappointed with the manager. While I was browsing for shoes I heard her yelling across the entire store at another employee to clock out and that she was tired of her mouth. At first I thought she was just joking with the employee, but as I came around an isle she was near the register reprimanding the young employee in front of everyone about cell phone usage. The manager was quite loud and obviously on a power trip. I understand there are rules against cell phone usage while at work, but she should not have yelled at the girl in the middle of the store. Very unprofessional and very rude of this ‘manager’. Anyone could tell you that you reprimand in private and praise in public. Not only is it embarrassing to your employee, but it also makes the environment very uncomfortable for the customers. I promptly left and felt terribly for the employee even if she were wrong for using her cell phone. She did not deserve to be yelled at in front of everyone. I don’t know if I will ever be back.

This seems to be the place that always sell me shoes. Their selection is good, they seem to carry a decent stock of sizes, and they have affordable prices and specials. I wish they didnt constantly make announcements about promotions, though, and treat the store like some kind of live event or promotion. I just want to shop for shoes, not get voices blasted at me the entire time. If their goal is to get people out of the store quickly, then I guess theyre succeeding - I always want to get in and get out fast.

The salesperson was more worried on getting off work than helping me with shoes. The shoes I did found are excellent and the price was awesome.

Shoes marked on sale but didnt ring up for sale price. Store argued that they forgot to take sign down

I went to Shoe Carnival Saturday 3-18-17, in Texarkana TX, it was relatively busy. No problem, as I usually go get my shoes, try them on, and check out with very little assistance. The first box in my size & shoe I wanted was empty. I just thought someone probably stole them. The second box I picked out only had one shoe, so I checked the display...different size. The third box I picked out, also had only one shoe (Not display). I asked the guy at the cash register to help me, and he said, I know where it is. The next 3 boxes I picked out only had ...yes, ONE SHOE...The guy comes back and says, Well, I THOUGHT I knew where it was. So I ask him, whats the deal with only one shoe in the boxes? as I hand him the next box I want to try on (with only one shoe). (I guess theyve been walking out the door or something.) He calls someone on his radio, and tells me somebody will get it for me, and goes back to the front desk....(He was very nice & tried to help, but was needed to check people out .) I was in there for over 45 minutes, and still didnt even have a pair of shoes to try on!!!! I understand you have a problem with theft, but if you are going to make people use a sales associate to try on EVERY pair of shoes, then YOU NEED MORE SALES PEOPLE... maybe one dedicated to the shoe section being stolen (Nike). I cant remember ever buying shoes anywhere else, and I hope this was an isolated incident.

Ive been going to Shoe Carnival, way before we have had on in Texarkana. I just love this place in all aspects.

I took back 2 pair of my shoes for exchange. There was a whole new crew there, they were very nice and cooperative. I did my exchange with no problems or delays and was on my way.

They have the shoes thst feel good on my feet i have bad feet. the store is clean workers r nice and helpfull thers always a sale. i. go there to get most all my shoes

Wide variety of shoes.Put my email on list got a $10off coupon. Bot a nike pair of Nikes under $60. Usually have sale, buy 1 get 1 half price.

We visit shoe carnival about 3-4 times a year and every time we do the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I had bought some reax that started squeaking about a week after I bought them. When I found the time to take them I had misplaced my receipt and discarded the box. Staff went above and beyond helping me get another pair of shoes.

Had a good experience. Friendly staff.got a good deal on three pair of shoes.Went looking for New Balance made in USA but no luck. Bought some nice Skechers at a good price. I plan on getting another pair soon and Ill check out the Shoe Carnival in Texarkana Tx. First.

The manager at this location is very unprofessional. I recently purchased two pairs of shoes and upon leaving the store, I realized that I didnt receive the promotional bogo deal. So, I returned to the cashier who apologized and stated that she would return the shoes and manually do the promotion. She explained that the shoes are showing up in the register as clearance but not on the shelves. She called for the manager to override and he stated no b/c the shoes are clearance. She explained and he assist that they would not override, nevermind​ that she just previously done the same for another customer. I then asked for my money back and asked for corporates number, he insist he couldnt give me corporates number. Well I then called the 800# on the back of their rewards card and customer service game me corporates#. I call corporate left a voicemail and have yet to receive a call. The manager is rude and unprofessional and I can only assume corporate can careless, which means they approve and condone customer abuse
