I just love Burkes

Went in yesterday to just browse while we were trying to waste some time waiting for our movie. I was highly impressed! It’s a “classier” version of Ross, which I love but is always messy and things are scattered everywhere and half of the time broken. (Let’s be clear here, I’m not bashing Ross, it’s the customers fault it’s like that all the time, I’ve seen some wild things in there.) BUT that’s besides the point. I loved the simplicity of everything, and the range of items. Everything was neatly placed and arranged. I didn’t get a change to check the clothes out, because I’d be there forever, but everything was up to date and what was trending. Gonna visit next weekend and actually purchase a few things! Found one of my new favorite stores though for sure.

Up until today I would have given this store a five. My husband went in to look for a bathing suit and a was told by an employee they didnt carry them. When he said they did (had recently bought one there) she insisted they didnt. Another employee confirmed they did but might have been moved or removed for the season. He later met the first employee in a aisle and she refused to move to one side. So he went around her. Wasnt going to get on her level. Rude employees are why I basically shop online or spend extra for good customer service. Heres hoping she was having a bad day and not this way all the time.

Rude checker turned her back on me and walked off. Her busy coworker had to call her back for line that had formed as she worked to ignore me. Had to point out she left on security tag as she bagged purse, she was working so hard not to look at me. Ugh I am not shopping at stores that dont want me.
