I love going to Bowers lumber. So far theyve always had what I needed and if it wasnt for them I would never have been able to get my grandmothers house ready for sale. When my saw broke twice they cut everything for me. Who does that. Anyways they trimmed out the old lake house with their wood because their boards were longer and less expensive to buy. I have been going there for years always received A1 treatment. There is no searching or looking or loading yourself they take care of everything. Give them a shot youll never go to Lowes again.

I love being able to support my local businesses, the staff here are always friendly and welcoming. Their selection of lumber is much better than the big name stores.

Bowers is a great place, and much more convenient than the big chain store. No crowds to deal with and the guys who work there actually know something about construction. They sell hard to find items and have access to custom millwork. Although the store has been around since the 1930s they stay up to date with modern building methods. I also get my house keys made here, and they can re-key the locks, saving a good bit of money over time.
