I have not had the best luck with Honda of Thousand Oaks in the last couple years and I quite honestly was just about ready to make a further drive just to speak with more pleasant salesmen. BUT working with Omar was a pleasure and a breath of fresh air. In my opinion, there is nothing easy or pleasant about negotiating deals for a new car, but Omar managed to make an unbearable process pleasant! Omar is personable and transparent and made sure he could get me the very best deal given the current chip crisis and limited availability of new cars. He did not encourage me to settle and did not attempt to undermine my knowledge. I was in the market for several months before meeting Omar, and I will never go to anyone else. I finally felt safe and comfortable making a deal with someone I felt wasn’t completely taking advantage of me. I went in to Honda with my guard up with the sole intention of buying out my car lease and selling it to CarMax for a profit since Honda hadn’t been able to offer me a fair price in the past few months. Omar immediately made me feel as though he would attempt to make a fair offer, and it turns out he did! Both Omar and I were able to come to terms on a deal for Honda to buy out my car at a fair price AND managed to find me another new 2022 lease that I am very happy with. Thank you to Omar, I hope Honda appreciates your work as much as I do. I will be referring you to anyone and everyone I know in the market for a car!

Greg came out and greeted / helped me within a minute of finishing up with another customer. Within a couple hours he had called and let me know the car was ready. I cant say enough good things about this dealership and the staff in there. My most recent experience has been as top notch as the one a few years back. Rex from the Sales team is such a thoughtful and professional person to interact with. He helped get the right vehicle (again) for my daughter and the followups that he did were non intrusive and helped close the right vehicle. Thank you Rex! Freddy from finance is another perfect gentleman to work with. It is not a surprise that they are a top rated Honda dealer in the LA region. I would rate these guys a 10/10. My experience was fantastic! It’s nice to go to a dealership that’s not trying to force you to buy a car that youre not interested in, or make you feel like you’re being taken advantage of. Omar had a great attitude, and it was easy to talk to him. He was very thorough in explaining the full details about the buying process of my new 2020 Honda Accord. He made the entire process easy, he didnt surprise me with hidden fees, and he did his best to get me a good APR. Also he made sure that the car was clean, and the gas tank was full before he gave me the keys, plus he gave me a car wash and interior cleaner kit as a gift. I would definitely buy another vehicle from Omar.

The staff upon arrival at the store were so helpful and made me feel safe even amidst the pandemic. I was greeted at my car by my service associate who wore a mask and kept distance. I answered a few questions and then was good to leave me car there. I was picked up and then returned once I got the call. They were super friendly and helpful. And the service didn’t take longer than an hour and a half!

Charged me $300 for a $135 AC system check then wanted $900 to refill the system that was leaking at the loose lower hose connection at the compressor and 12 months ago they replaced the compressor under warranty. Imagined that. I got it fixed and filled elsewhere for under $300. Honda of TO did a great job in the sale of the vehicle but service will never ever get my business again. Sorry! I won’t be treated like a fool.

I came in on Aug 20 as a drive in for my 1st oil change. I wasn’t familiar that I need to schedule an appointment. I forgot her name but she was very helpful and manage to schedule on a Saturday. I left and came back on Saturday for service. Wasn’t long of wait and only took at least 2 hours. The service overall was great but doesn’t offer any discount for a 1st oil change.

My salesperson was great! I had a put a deposit on the vehicle and she made sure to hold the car for me as 4 other people wanted to buy it from the time I put down the deposit until when I picked up the car. My only gripe is that the dealership should give the customer the option of having the front license plate holder installed. I did not want holes drilled into the front bumper!

This place is a rip-off. They inflate their prices for repairing a car that would take approximately one hour of labor, by charging you the the cost for 8 hours of labor. I am saying this based on the fact that I also have a significant amount of knowledge about cars. They charged me nearly $875 for about 1 hour of work. First, you should go to a reliable, honest mechanic and only go to Thousand Oaks Honda Dealership as a last resort. Their parts department quotes $30-50 more for the same exact part than other Honda dealers located in Corona or Anaheim Hills. They are just robbing their customers, and the cost for repairs is just unimaginable.

Called ahead to make sure the vehicle I wanted to look at was there. Rex was quick to confirm the vehicle was there. Rex and Steven Mozes talked me into making the finally deal with the monthly payments I agreed on. Steven explained why I should get the Honda CR-V in this car market we are in now and I agreed. Rex was really friendly and asked if I wanted water or anything else to drink. Rex made sure the crv was cleaned and the temporary plates got put on perfectly. I had a last minute need to make sure my Honda Odyssey was roadworthy for about 3000 miles of driving in the next couple of weeks. Honda TO service was able to get me in and perform necessary maintenance (including some brake repairs) the same day I called. I have been with them for decades (bought my current Odyssey from them a few years back, and they maintained my previous Odyssey very well for years before that. Very professional and responsive organization.

That gentleman was quite courteous.Was just a minor service. Was able to speak to the rep about the car when the service was done. Overall, not bad. The service done on my car was very good. I have only one car so I had to wait while the car was being serviced. Was told the wait was about 1.5-2 hours but it turned out to be about 3! Was given a 15% discount to make up for the wait time but that discount was given to everyone that day as a promotion. Felt that was dishonest.

The sales staff was very nice and not pushy. My wife found a car she wanted and we bought it. A lot of dealers are over pricing cars right now. The only reason they received a 4 star instead of a 5 star, was because they gave a low trade in offer on a very clean Grand Cherokee and were not willing to budge at all. So we decided not to trade it in and sell private party at a later date. We did look up carvana and carmax while there and there offers were higher.

I will sure not attribute the tag Friendly to the sales guys over here. Other Honda dealerships few miles north, south or east of Thousand oaks offer a friendlier buying experience. Check them out before coming here. Carmax at Oxnard offered right away 2k more than this Honda dealership when evaluated a civic for trade in. These guys are non negotiable and costly.

Richard was nice.Im not too satisfied with the pre-paid service plan. It was pitched to me that everything is covered and here Im paying for an alignment. Also, it seems hard for the employees to bring up this service plan. I need a membership card or something. Richard didnt even know I had it until I mentioned it.I was also disappointed to find that you no longer wash the car after. That was always a nice touch. Mostly, its the service plan. It cost me a lot for mere oil and filter changes. Fool me once, I guess.You need to be more clear on what this service plan covers, because I feel a bit taken.b

Honda of Thousand Oaks offers Exceptionally great service. From the sales and finance to the service departments everyone is great! Our salesman Julian was very quick to greet us and ask us some quick questions about our vehicle in interest. He provided us with all of our options when trading in our lease amongst a variety of other models. He was very knowledgeable and discussed all the vehicles features some of which I had no idea about. Since 2020 wasn’t a regular walk in the park and many vehicles were sitting around the lot for awhile he tested the battery and even made sure that a new battery was replaced just in case so we wouldn’t get stranded anywhere. I’m at that age where people either talk down to me or treat me like i am a kid. Richard treated me with respect and valued my opinion. To start Mark Deguzman was very quick to check the inventory for us and get the ball rolling on the negotiations, even though we were just a walk-in and he had other appointments. I have a 2018 honda accord and it currently has a recall on it.. when I spoke to Jessica the service manager. She said the fuel pump was back ordered. And I needed to call honda to have them expedite it..she gave me no info.. was really rude. I tried explaining to her this was my first time dealing with this issue. She didnt care. All she kept saying was to call honda. Never offered a number.I called honda and they asked me if the dealership gave me a part number...they didnt. She asked me why I was calling and not the dealership..thats a great question I couldnt answer..anyways started my case with honda..this dealership could be better with customer service and more experienced well trained managers.. thank you Jessica for helping.I will not come here..my lease is up and I like to change cars...I will be driving extra to not deal with Management like Jessicas. You might want to move her to working on cars, maybe she will treat the cars better.

Best service center I have ever been to! I have had my car for almost 4 years and have never received the type of service I received at the Thousand Oaks service center. I Purchased my vehicle in NJ brand new and have been diligent about getting service from Honda directly. I relocated to California in June and had my car serviced at another Honda service center location. I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience and immediately began searching for a different location. Honda of Thousand Oaks came highly recommended and had excellent reviews, so I took the chance, and boy am I glad that I did. My service agent was Jess and let me just say, her professionalism and customer service service skills were unmatched. Worked with Fabian in the Internet Sales Department to secure a deal on a Ridgeline. He was great to work with: transparent, flexible, and honest. The deal he provided to us in writing via email was the deal they presented to us when we walked in the front door. While that may seem like a given, we had the exact opposite experience at two dealerships prior to this. I have been a customer since 2006 when I bought my Honda Accord.Once I had a problem with a servicing and Scott Stanley took care of it, and assigned Willie Burr as my service advisor.I was very satisfied with Willie taking excellent care of me and my car.Yesterday I had my car serviced at your place, Richard tried to upsell me on everything, and he then told me my battery was bad.Being that my battery was only 2 years old, I declined to have it replaced.Today I had the battery checked at Hank’s Auto, he told me the battery was fine, and the charging station was fine too.SHAME ON YOU 1000 Oaks Honda.You not only lost a customer for servicing, but you lost a customer when I buy a new car within the year.In addition when I emailed the general manager I never received a response.

First off let me thank Fabian and his team for getting me into exactly what I wanted. It wasnt easy and almost didnt look like It was going to happen. But these guys got me a great APR well within my budget. Got me in and got me out very quickly. Absolutely nothing but professional and friendly people here. I am certain I have just found my go to dealership. If you are looking for a great used or new vehicle I wouldnt pass this dealership up. Also I promised the finance guy I would mention this... If you are buying a used car please make sure you get gap insurance. I had my previous car stolen and totaled and if it wasnt for gap I would be way under water. Anyway I cant say enough great things about this place except you would be doing yourself a disservice if you pass them up. Five stars guys!! Keep up the great work!! And thanks again!

Thorough service and a safe environment while I dropped off my car for service. Masks mandatory and all staff observed distancing. Richard was my service tech and he was helpful and explained details well.

Honda of Thousand Oaks just serviced my car and did a wonderful job! In addition to the professional service, everyone there was so friendly and helpful, especially the Service Advisor, Greg Matsuzaki! He took the time to explain all of the work in detail and even personally fixed my broken key fob! Who goes the extra mile these days and does that? :-)It was a pleasureable experience and I highly recommend servicing your car at Honda of Thousand Oaks. Make sure you ask for Greg!

Their customer service is not what it once was. The staff is still nice and professional. The change is in making sure the customer is satisfied. 1. They no longer offer courtesy cars. 2. Our Civic has paint peeling by one window and the rubber shredding by another (on opposite side of car)—-and they said they could do nothing. We have historically been loyal to Hondas because they last, the company stands behind their name, and paint doesn’t peel and rubber doesn’t shred. That seems to be changing. We’re in the market for our next CRV. Our last one was from Thousand Oaks Honda. I don’t get the sense that they want or need our business. I hope our recent experience is the anomaly, because we’ve been happy customers for over 10 years.

Avoid this dealership at all costs they want to engage in price gouging charging 1000’s of dollars over an already inflated Msrp for their vehicles. No educated buyer should pay for any vehicle above msrp. Don’t get ripped off by dealers taking advantage of you as a buyer. Many dealers are resorting to this unethical and dishonest practice to boost their commissions. Avoid them cars depreciate dont overpay justvsay NO!! These management practices need to be halted and the best way is to just not buy from them send a message that price gouging is not Ok!!

I had an excellent experience Saturday turning in my leased 2018 Honda CRV and driving a new one home the same day. Everyone was cordial and professional and helped me through seeing the new CRV models and completing the paperwork. Thank you to Gino, Joseph and Peter for taking care of me. I was very pleased with my 2018 model and I am sure that the 2021 model will be just as good.

CASH BUYER BEWARE! Know your rights! Thousand Oaks Honda will tell you they must check your credit when you are purchasing a vehicle with a personal check. DEALERS HAVE NO RIGHT - If you pay with cash or pre-arranged financing, dealers have no right to try to make you consent to a credit check by the USA PATRIOT Act, which is a federal anti-terrorism law, or any other law. Proper identification is all that is required by law. We were able to provide CA DL, US Passport, vehicle registration, and proof of residence. I recommend you consider this and avoid these types of sales tactics. Also consider, if you choose not to buy here and go to another dealership, they too may want to run your credit... when unnecessary! Thousand Oaks is an affluent area, so this is simply BAD BUSINESS. We went to another dealer to purchase a vehicle that was $6,000 more than the Honda, and they did not even ask to run our credit. Happy buyers! Thousand Oaks Honda... not too smart!

I dont like how if people without appointments are there early, they get checked in before people with appointments do. They should have two lines, one for cars with appts and one for cars without appts (help them last) .I also really dont like how Honda does not offer rides home or car washes any more. The service managers are nice though.
