My son and I had a great experience here.We came from another store where they had very little women’s appeal and none in my size. That being boots, gloves, pants and jackets.The help from the staff at Cycle Gear was amazing. The woman working there spend almost two hours helping us get everything from gloves to boots, jackets and helmets. Being very patience, helpful and knowledgeable about the brands, sizes, quality and more.I will only use this store in the future.

My first helmet was shipped super fast and unfortunately it was too big, so I returned in store and Laura was amazing in finding me a new one. It too had to be shipped from another store but I got a call a couple days later and it turned out great! Big thanks to Laura for all her technical help and Deanna for great service!! Will 100% recommend and return in the future.

They have a sign on the front doors that states no public restrooms. However I was a customer and have visited this location at least a few times as well as the Oxnard location that restroom wasnt closed at least not when I visited. I have in the past not purchased goods from businesses that dont have a restroom available. I dont know if its covid or just Lazy employees not wanting to clean the restrooms. If I had a choice to purchase my motorcycle parts somewhere else I would.

I went in to buy a new street helmet. Customer service was tremendous. The sales woman showed me options and didnt push one name brand over another. She was knowledgeable and very informative. I did find a helmet for me. Very happy.

Place is clean and organized, staff knows the products and are helpful. Ordered a helmet a it came in a day later at a good price. I will be going back for more goodies 👍🏻☺️

The Thousand Oaks CG location was well stocked, clean, and staff available to help. Its a little tucked away in the shopping center, so drove right by it the first time. I setup to reserve an item online at 3 different locations - this was the first to have it ready and available - literally as soon as the shop opened I got an email indication that the item was ready for pickup. I like this particular CG location.

The employee who helped me was very knowledgeable about helmets, and took her time with me to get the right one. I also purchased some cold weather gear and am going back for a front tire.

Excellent customer service. Cashier 10955 Chase(?) was knowledgeable and friendly.you had the brake pads o needed in stock locally that the other “Big 2” online sites had on back order.

Great service at the Thousand Oaks, CA store. I bought a Sena communications unit and the salesperson installed the speakers and mics in two helmets for me. I always have a great experience at this store.

I went into the store to buy a helmet. It was important for me to try on the helmets to get the exact size so I dont have problems with headaches or sore ears. They were very helpful with different sizes and manufactures. Very glad I did not try Amazon. I ended up buying two helmets for my Utv. One full face that raises up and a half helmet for when its really hot outside. Both helmets will easily fit my earbuds so I can listen to music while Im driving. I used to be extra large now Im triple X which was difficult to find helmets that would fit me. The staff was great and very helpful. They let me know that in three days there was going to be a sale so I put everything on hold until Monday. I saved 10% which was a nice savings. They are very knowledgeable with their products and I definitely will be back. I know Im not the usual customer because Im in a wheelchair. It would be nice if they opened up the store with some pathways for me to get through to the back. You lost one star on that

Staff could be a little more knowledgeable amd less pushy! For better service it’s worth the drive to the Oxnard store and my personal favorite location is the Culver City store Brian the store manager will always go above and beyond!

Renee was very polite and knowledgeable and sold me a new Shoie helmet AND she installed the Sena comm right there in less than 10 minutes while I shopped for pants. I recommend this place to new and experienced riders.

The people are extremely nice in Oxnard an T.O. but not all that knowledgeable.(no offense) You just hafta know what you need. I think T.O. has a bit bigger selection of riding gear and helmets. Definitely better prices than a dealership, our only other option.

WOW! What an amazing experience I had at Cycle Gear - Thousand Oaks. I walked in to check out a helmet shortly before close on Sunday evening and did not expect that I would be able to get help and buy one. To my total surprise, I was welcomed as I walked in (even though they were preparing to close) and Renee was AWESOME throughout my purchase of a neotech helmet and sena bluetooth. She clearly knew the products, and went above & beyond at every setup from starting with my selection, price search, setting up bluetooth, and answering any questions. I am definitely going back there! highly recommended.

Nice staff, decent selection of gear, but not very knowledgeable about motorcycles. No ability to cross reference part #s (oil/air) filters). Its akin to the auto parts store where some kid asks the multiple pc prompts that have nothing to do with the part youre looking for and has no idea how the system or parts work.The Harbor Freight of bike shops. Its a last resort when you need something (and other shops are closed), but you go into it knowing that youll probably be replacing the item you bought with a quality part later. Disclosure: I have bought a couple items (Dainese, PitBull, Alpinestars) that I have been happy with, but my last encounter reminded me to stock up on expendables from a reputable shop or online. I was able to do half an oil change, thankfully the dealerships are open tomorrow.

I’ve been in here a few times in the past and always got really poor customer service from the guys and girls working there, they didn’t even seem to know the basics or want to help you out. I needed to replace my helmet so decided to give them another shot to my surprise the gal working there Laura was quick to engage in conversation with me and showed me a couple helmets that best fit my riding style and bike.She was super knowledgeable and informative. I never felt like she was being pushy or trying to sell me on things I did not need. She even swapped out my Bluetooth for FREE! Cool thing is their 30 days helmet exchange policy and she even invited me back in so that I could tell her how my new helmet was working out. Thanks Laura!
