Staff friendly & helpful; fairly well stocked, but some items—both general store and pharmacy—out of stock more frequently or for longer than might be expected.

Wendy, pharmacy tech (?) is really rude over the phone, barely ever picks up and when she does, hangs up. Cannot get anything done over the phone. Incredibly annoying Customer service is terrible. Be prepared to waitHave to go in. Talk to John the pharmacist. Hes usually busy but helpful if you can get his attention.

The wait time to speak to someone is enormous. they dont give you an accurate time when your medicine will be available. if you want an update you have to drive to the store and talk to someone. after waiting almost a week for medicine they told me it would be delivered tuesday. of course no call no update. i tried to call them you just sit on hold no one picks up the phone so again i have to drive to the store to get an update and im sure when i get they they will tell me sorry its not ready and give another date when it will arive with no real idea if it will come or not. amazing how much time you waste dealing with them. its like they dont care about you at all. you are just a number not a person with a million things to do and limited time.

I just want you to know that John at the CVS in Tiburon (1599 Tiburon Blvd Tiburon, CA 94920 Store #1483) is the most amazing pharmacist. I went there today to switch my prescriptions over from Walgreens. I have been a Walgreens customer since moving to SF ten years ago but recently moved to Marin and find the Walgreens here to be very lacking. I love CVS, am from Boston MA, just didnt have enough access when living in city. Anyway, I cannot tell you how kind, lovely and attentive he was. He is also from Boston and we made that connection. Further, he was clearly very busy when I showed up at 9am but was cheerful, made time, made a personal connection with me and told me that I would be very happy with his Pharmacy care at CVS. WOW! What a beautiful personal touch on this Tuesday morning. Promote this man!!!!! Thank you!

I’m not going to lie, I use to absolutely hate this pharmacy when I moved to Tiburon about two years ago. However, over the past year they have really become great. The previous people I dealt with that had attitudes no longer seem to be there and I’ve had nothing but great experiences this past year. The pharmacist, John, is really really amazing. He has always helped me manage my prescriptions (and my dogs) get them filled on time/ early, and helped me out tremendously when I was switching insurances. He is really knowledgeable and generally caring. I’m happy to have a pharmacy and pharmacist I can trust as they seem to be few and far between.

I just sat on hold for a full 10 minutes on pharmacy line and finally hung up. Call answered on first ring and woman asked if I could pls hold. Boy she wasn’t kidding.Service needs help and those long receipts that want you to spend more instead of giving fair prices up front is a waste of paper and maddening. No incentive for me to spend more. I wish there was another pharmacy in Tiburon. Avoid if you can. They have more business than they can service appropriately. Costco is cheaper and much more efficient.

The manager kind of treats you like dirt if you don’t look rich or if you’re not a local. Pretty annoying and probably won’t come back here again.

I frequent this store regularly and have always been treated courteously. I am happy they carry a number of basic house supplies and European cookies, fitness bread, and other Euro groceries for prices lower than TJs or WF.

Probably the most inefficient CVS I have had the misfortune of having to waste my time at. The people here are nice, but CVS chooses to be understaffed. Often receive texts informing me prescriptions are ready, but are not. Long hold times on the phone. Long waits at the check register. Long waits to speak to a human. In the era where customer service is what sets purveyors of fungible products apart, why patronize a store that habitually takes customers time for granted?

This store has huge potential but obviously lacks the upper management to set it apart. I saw one employee the entire time I was there. He would creep up on us randomly and ask us if we needed help. It got so weird and he started making me feel so uncomfortable that I decided to pay and leave. Every time we are in there he zones in on my 9 year old daughter. Giving her high fives and asking her what kind of day she’s having..... I don’t like it and he gives me an uneasy feeling. You do not need to find out for yourself. Please take my advice and do not go to this store. For a town so beautiful and full of money CVS gave them a crappy cutout and never looked back.

WAY TOO MANY AND UNANSWERED HOLDS -- ITS REALLY A DISGRACE THAT OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IS SO EXPENSIVE AND SO UNDERSTAFFED!!! negative stars if an option.

Imagine your worst, most painful experience at the DMV- thats EXACTLY what its like to shop at the CVS in Tiburon. The employees obviously dont want to be there, but are too bitter and lazy to get anything better...so, they take out their frustration on customers with a passive aggressive, snarky attitude. Special kudos for most offensive, bad service goes to the skinny dark haired guy with a ponytail, and his dirty blonde mini soprano buddy complete with gold chain working behind the registers.
