Nice store π some staff very helpful, Mike Miller. Not so for lady in bedding department.
Small store of the high end furnishings chain. Small footprint leads to limited stock on hand. Functions almost as a catalog store. Helpful staff. $$$
Visited this store over the weekend, I came in specifically looking for some shelves that said they were available in the store. I needed to see the shelves before purchasing to make sure I liked them and they fit my space. I approached an employee and informed him I was looking for some shelves, he didnβt even as me what kind he immediately responded we donβt have shelves here. I stated and online it mentioned they were available for pick up today at store. I showed him the shelves I was looking for and he had to go up to the stock room to check. The whole interaction felt as I was inconveniencing him. I sat and waited with my friend and an older blonde lady approached lecturing us we couldnβt drink or tras in the store which we hadnβt been. She was extremely rude and asked me if I wanted the shelves. How am I going to purchase shelves I have not even seen ? So then theyβre finally able to bring down the shelf for me to see and I purchased them. Had they not been on sale I wouldnβt have purchased them because of how rude the employees are. I never have this experience at Nw 23rd.
Syi was phenomenally patient and knows the product line backward and forward. She really helped us feel comfortable and gave us what we needed to make good choices. We were also impressed with the selection of nontoxic furniture.
We personally like this place, we found original pieces for home decoration and the customer service is more than excellent!
My review is not specific to this location, but to Pottery Barn as a company in general. My husband just finished what has now collectively been almost six hours of his time dealing with customer service about a bed we tried to order. I cant explain the entire nightmare - it would take too long - but the bottom line is that weve been charged for shipping on an order that was cancelled TWO MONTHS ago. There were four calls to confirm that cancellation and multiple people ensured we wouldnt be charged. But still, our credit cared was charged over $700 for the item itself and $149 in shipping - all weeks after the cancellation. After several calls and huge frustration, the charge for the item - which, again, we cancelled over two months ago - was returned, but they refuse to return the shipping costs. They say its out of their hands. Really? You have no control over your own policies? Its the worst customer service weve ever encountered. Guillermo should be fired. Saying youre sorry but your hands are tied is ridiculous - this company has basically stolen money from us. We will never buy anything from Pottery Barn or any of its family companies again - Williams Sonoma, West Elm, Mark and Graham, Rejuvenation - were done. Shameful, shameful corporate behavior. Weve been robbed not just of $150 but of the time an aggravation this has caused.
The manager of this store is so unhelpful and rude, do not recommend shopping at this store at all.
I felt very unwelcome at this store. There was a tall blonde woman who was not friendly at all. In fact she βblewβ me off like I was not worth her time. (Maybe because of the way I was dressed?!) I went in there with the intention of purchasing a large 10 seat dining set...just wanted to see it in person first. Instead I left and purchased online. If they work on commission she just missed out on a huge sale. I will not be going into this store again.
Awesome place to buy pottery!
Itβs refreshing to see that Iβm not the only one who had a disappointing experience. It was only when I made a huge purchase that they treated me descent, but by then it was too late. The woman that helps customers load their car was amazing though, so the stars are for her (with the hearing disability).
350$ for an end table that wasnt even made from real wood, it was particle board. Other furniture items were on par with what you would find at office depot. Carpets and towels were triple their Amazon prices, in at least two cases this was for the identical sku. I do not recommend this store.
My wife and I decided to stop by right before the big snow storm hit later that night. When I went there the staff was friendly. The woman who helped me mentioned that it would benefit their store if I went home and made a call to order from their store because my son was getting cranky. I went home and decided to do so. I finished the call and I got a call back because they wanted to make sure the address was right, which they had it wrong. Lucky I thought that a correction was made. I looked up the info that was e-mailed to me and they didnt honor the price online they said they would so they charged me a significant amount more (charged me for shipping when it was free and an extra $20 surcharge). I called the problem in and got a refund. Today is the day, about 5 days later when Im supposed to get our several pieces of furniture we ordered.... and it turns out the shipper was never given an apt number. Not only did the woman screw up our address once, but twice and charged us about $100 more for it. I never should have ordered through their store and should have ordered online which would have COMPLETELY eliminated all of this frustration and continuing disappointment. Our package is supposed to be rescheduled for tomorrow and Im really hoping that the four pieces of furniture come with no damage.
Jennifer Puerner is a designer here and she is awesome! She was very meticulous and helpful. Her excellent suggestions and follow-up are what kept me satisfied with my purchase/experience despite the delivery delay.
I went shopping here recently in hopes of finding some pretty awesome candles and holders for a Mothers Day gift. There wasnt a big selection of candles or holders but the other merchandise was absolutely gorgeous and I found quite a bit of other non candle related items to purchase.
They got some great sales and very helpful sales ladies and probably men also but the ladies helped me
I was really excited to after 12 years, order a new dining room set. Although the store did everything to make our buying experience pleasant; the delivery company (third party) screwed up the entire thing. They not only were calling a wrong number to schedule delivery, but they didnt even attempt to contact the store and notify them of the inability to reach us. Only after me hunting down my order was it found out that the delivery company was calling the wrong area code even though it was written down correctly on their paperwork. After waiting 4 weeks for delivery, I contacted Pottery Barn and was told by a website employee that her notes specified the items were returned as they were unable to deliver. I contacted the store and spoke to management who took the matter over from there. The next day I received a call from the delivery manager stating they would deliver the next day between 1-3 PM. No show!!!!! At 4:00 PM I contacted the store and the store contacted the delivery company only to tell us that although our name was on the delivery roster, the furniture didnt make the truck. WHAT! And if that was not bad enough, the next possible delivery day is 4 days later. Although we are promised a delivery charge credit, I dont feel that the qualify of customer care by the delivery company is up to par. Pottery Barn doesnt sell cheap furniture and having a delivery company not be held accountable for their inability to follow through, I feel that there should have been A). more compensation for our trouble and B). we should have been moved to the FRONT of the delivery roster. Pottery Barn unfortunately has lost our future business as the bedroom furniture and living room items will be ordered through a different furniture store. If you do NOT purchase your items for direct purchase from the store or in store pickup, I highly recommend you do NOT opt for delivery. Purchase from a store that delivers their own product. Although I love Pottery Barn and their store employees and management went out of their way to help us, the final fix was not acceptable.
Great customer service
Ordered a canopy bed for my daughter in January, which is supposed to be delivered in Feb. But I still didnβt get it until today!! The ridiculous thing is even the customer service doesnβt know when itβs available!!! Worst shopping experience ever!!
Love looking around and getting ideas.
Always like to visit and buy the item that helps bring a room together . Sometimes pricy but good quality .
Looking for ceiling fan
I love shopping here. The personal consultations are great...especially if you can work with Jordi.
I LOVE POTTERY BARN hate this one store. The sales people are incompetent. I will always order online. I just purchased a pillow that in this very store they tried to charge me almost double what it cost me to buy and have delivered to my home online. Hi store sucks they make crap up as they go idk maybe they make these mistakes on purpose so they can pocket the extra money they charge. Idk lowered rating to 1 star BIT FOR HIS SPECIFIC STORE
Unlike the employees at the NW 23rd location, I found the staff to be rude, unfriendly and not very helpful. I have had multiple disappointing shopping experiences at this location. Would prefer to make the trip to the NW than this location which is closer to my house.
Nice things, nice service...
Great store and great options.
A little expensive but its winderful to browse
I dont remember coming here
Nice layout and a good selection
Relatively small store. Compared to a regular furniture store like Dania Furniture, it is about 1/20th the size. Okay selection, couldnβt find anything we liked the two times we visited this store.
Beautiful merchandise.
