The business was very neat and clean. We couldnt find what we were looking for. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Put in for car side pickup. Got my notification that it was ready. Called number to give stall #. Waited 15 mins in parking lot. Finally had to go in to get order. Whats the point of carside pickup if you dont even do it. Then, when i come inside, look at me stupid like you have no idea what is going on.

Very disorganized and a lot of there stuff they didnt have prices on it. Personally Im not a crafty. person but I feel they are very over priced. I would recommend going to hobby lobby instead.

The last 2 times I shopped there I had problems because they dont know how to properly display their prices, especially the sale prices. Ill just keep shopping at Hobby Lobby!!!

My only problem with Michaels is that sometimes check out can take forever, and their online pickup needs improving. Ive gotten emails saying that my order was confirmed and another saying it was ready for pick up only to get there and have them tell me it was never placed because the item was out of stock. And always make sure to check their site for coupons because otherwise their stuff is a little overpriced.

I visited the Micheals on 191st for the 70% off beads sale, when I arrived the floor staff made certain that my basket was sanitized, I enjoyed their attentiveness, the cashier was patient and friendly as I sorted through my finds... Great Job : )

Amazing products, great variety, but not the best customer service. In person, I was able to receive help from a kind employee. Before I arrived at this store, I called an employee to ask if they had a specific item. I got hung up on TWICE.

Love the store but not much baby girl scrap book stuff, kinda disappointed

Fast and friendly. Plenty of help on the floor, got exactly what I needed. Lines started getting longer, they immediately opened more cashiers to keep things moving. Great experience overall.

Well stocked over all. The small section dedicated to Drafting Supplies is not well stocked in the three stores that I visited. This may be because of the decline of pen & ink Drafting.

Nice cashier but the place was kind of messy and not well stocked. Seasonal section was not well merchandiser and the ribbon section looked like they were going out of business.

Michaels has great crafts, art supplies, etc. BUT there isnt anyone to ask questions or get help. If you need something you have to stand in the checkout line, then ask your question and the go get what you need and then get back in line to pay.

Very chaotic. Stood in the online order spot where you are supposed to hit button for pickup. No one came for about 5 minutes, hitting button about 5 tines, so went to cashiers lane. There was no process in place for the cashier to get my order. Order was found pretty quickly though, no issues there. Dont have online pickup area if no one is going to oversee it. Just send customers to cashier lane.

Lots of options and have always found what I needed. Curbside pick up is the worst! (I use because my kid cant go in)I Feel bad for the employees that have run back and forth but they need a designated person for that or something. Always a long line with one cashier.

I called in advance to see if this location had the product I was looking for before I drove 30 minutes because this is the closet Michael’s. Reached the Michael’s in Tinely and was informed they never had it in stock. What type of people are you all hiring ? This is very frustrating. On top of all of that they have minimum spray can options.

I love Michaels but the popular items seem to always be out of stock. Went to 2 Michaels looking for a particular mold and both were out.

I really enjoy Michaels. Its pure crafts like Hobby Lobby without the urge to control womens reproductive tract - win-win!I helped a friend make a memory board for a grad school aging and dying class project. Everything but the pictures was from Michaels - fold-out posterboard, double-sided tape, fancy paper, craft scissors, lettering stickers, etc. She got full points on it.(Everyone else made a PowerPoint, despite the syllabus saying it was to be realistic and to be creative!. Whod want a PowerPoint of their life at their funeral...?)My sole complaint with this location was the lack of help. The only sales associates to be found were at the registers - meaning when I needed help finding craft scissors, the only help I got was, Theyre in the scrap-booking area (ie, no help at all). They were *all* very friendly and working just as hard as they possibly could - there just wasnt enough people.

Well sticked. Stopped in looking for some items I saw online but did not order...they had everything. Customer Service top notch.

Just got off the phone with assistant manager named Krystal. The experience to say the least was a lesson in what not to do in customer service. Extremely rude and un helpful. I placed an online order that I never picked up. I received an email that said thank u for picking up your order which confused me because I never picked it up. I figured it would automatically cancel and just refund. Well nope someone went in and acted like I picked it up just to get it off the books. When I said I wanted a refund because I never picked up the item I was told that can’t be done. Finally she said well she doesn’t know how to do it and the manager will be in on Monday then went on to say it’s only 2.75. The amount of the purchase is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is this was handled completely inappropriately and in reality. Theft.

Very disappointing experience. I have been a customer at this location since it opened. I have lived in the area for over 20 years. It is so disappointing to see the quality of costumer service diminish as well as over all organization and cleanliness. I remember coming to this store and being received with a warm welcome and exceptional customer service. This was not the case. I politely asked the lady at the front if I would be able to get assistance for a Swarovski crystal butterfly (majority of the crystals have security locks). Shortly after she looked around and then asked another employee to help her find the key. A young women approached me (with no costumer service etiquette). She had a blank stare and simply said she could not find her key and that she would be unable to give us the butterfly. Mind you the butterfly is on a very accessible paper “label” (if I am not mistaken) . I simply asked if she could use scissors to cut it. She said there were no scissors available. This is a craft store. Upon asking for the manager I was informed that the lady that was “unable“ to be of assistance was the manager. I felt like it was a joke. I have managerial experience as well as corporate experience. I am certain that costumer satisfaction is key. I would recommend corporate to pay a visit. Michael’s is known for its quality and costumer service all of which this location is lacking.

I didnt so much as dislike this store as I more so disliked the lack of on duty employees makes the same day curbside pick up impossible. They are always out of something & have poor communication to the customer regarding such. Great location, just needs to improve staff numbers.

They had what I was looking for and I also found some accessories that were half the price of another very popular craft store. I would have given a complete five stars, but the cashier was rather rude in expressing her obvious displeasure at my request to use a coupon for non cricut items.

They asked me was everything okay did I need additional help and finding the things that I needed this is what I like to see when I visit stores to spend my money great job👍

This store used to be my favorite store to get art supplies from. Not sure what happened maybe it was an off day. Today I needed help finding a 11” x 14” sketchbook, a standard in the design field. The drawing section was so disorganized I couldn’t find the drawing instruments I needed. Portfolios where on the floor, none of the drawing pens where in the right spots, and the sketchbooks where all mixed up. I pressed the help button and waited for a half hour. Finally I gave up and walked around looking for a staff member to help me. We walked over to the sketchbook section, where I was originally, and the staff member pointed to a pile of 8.5”x 11” hardbound sketchbooks, when I specified I needed help finding an 11” x 14” sketchbook. She then suggested I go to downtown Chicago to Blick. While I do appreciate the suggestion I would have had the staff member actually look in the back and help me find what I’m looking for if it’s not out on the floor. I know for a fact that Michael’s carries 11” x 14” sketchbooks, as I have bought them from this location for the last 10+ years and the website says they have it, I just couldn’t locate them on the shelf! Never in my life have I ever encountered such a bad experience in an art store. I am posting this review in hopes that the staff will read it and improve on their organization and customer service skills, as I do love shopping at Michael’s and am a regular customer.

Lacked alot of items that were said to be in stock online. Not sure if inventory is ever correct between store and online. A bit messier than other locations too. I recommend to walk in to browse but dont count on finding what you need. Staff were very nice to help you look for items. Unfortunately, they had nothing in stock.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Standing in line for several minutes, 2 cashiers, when it was my time to check out the cashier walked away and commented oh you want help? You can wait. Other cashier dealing with coupon issues. After several more minutes I decided I didnt need the craft items. Original cashier walked back to her station and said oh, I can help you now. I just left. They obviously dont need or want the business. Thanks for saving me about $150, Michaels.

I love, love Michaels. I get lost everything I go in there. I go in and I see so many things that I could start projects everyday. I found what I needed.

AWESOME!! Went to pick up an online order. Person in the framing department was busy with another customer for framing but called someone to assist me. They were there QUICKLY, had me sign, got my order & offered me a box as the didnt have a bag big enough!!! Snapped the containers together & I was done in about 7 minutes!! GREAT customer service!!!

No help from the staff, long lines, no one who works there wants to assist customers.

I love Michaels. They always have great bargain. The only thing I wish for is that they have more employees available to help customers on the floor rather than having to fish for one. Other than that, Michaels is great

I went to pick up some water color paints to paint with my grandpa. I selected a 24pc set that was listed under the $29.99 placement. It was infact $89.99... they need to clean up those sections because many of the products dont match the price tag. And the staff was rude, I went to ask where could I find some mod podge and she scoffed and walked away saying she was busy when infact she was playing on her phone.

The original price was $210 and I have until today on Friday to get the desk that I really want. It was a Next early birthday gift for myself!!😊😊😊 Next, I pickup my art desk at Michaels store on Friday at Tinley park location and they have awesome service. They were nice. I unfortunately couldnt find what I was looking for and I had to try a rep to help find items. There is paint in 3 different areas. Glitter in 2 different areas, maybe 3. Sales are not obvious. And they dont offer to sign people up for a card to get savings.

The store is always like a disorganized garage sale. Never enough people at the register. Only plus is their clearance section. I always find awesome things for super cheap

This is one of the very few stores I will visit just to browse.I can walk the aisles and in a short amount of time find something that will catch my attention and apply to some project or another I am working on.The selection of art supplies do not match a dedicated art store, but it comes close. It does not have all of the tools and options of a dedicated hobby store, but it comes close.The combination art and hobby supplies that it does have, in addition to the other craft supplies makes it a worthwhile destination.

Ive never seen a Michaels that had such little stock. I have to say though the employees were quite helpful especially cuz I had to ask numerous time but the prices were for certain products because nothing was labeled. They do have a lot of sales that doesnt matter if you dont have a lot of products. Not the Michaels of my choice

The stockers or clerk assistants do not wear identifiable tags that one would actually think they are customers. One guy walked up and down isles until we asked do you work here he responded yes. Yet, he was not able to tell us where the zip ties were and pointed us towards packaging. He told the other worker he didnt know what a zip tie was and the worker pointed to one tied to the shelf and proceeded to tell him the store does not sell them. Seeing my frustrations, he retrieve some from the back.

This location is convenient, parking is never an issue. The staff is kind. The store is always clean and tidy. It would serve better tho if they had mobile coupons. I always forget my paper coupons at home then they usually just go in the recycle bin to hopefully be turned into toilet paper. So my only complaint is that they dont offer mobile coupons.

I love Michaels! They always have what Im looking for and then some. I found the cutest stickers at this one for my scrapbooking project I just started. I think this last trip was the only time I didnt find the exact yarn I was looking for, but Ill just check another one closer to my house. I also love all the coupons that they give out and the sales, and their canvases are kind of hard to beat, so I bought a ton of them on black Friday. The place is always playing and the staff is always super friendly if you need help with anything.

It has everything I need, from tie dye to stickers to Christmas and Halloween decorations. The only thing is the prices are too high. The glue is $3.50 but I can get that at Walmart for 50 cent.

I often get very frustrated going to this Michaels because the lines are exceptionally long. They are definitely getting better. However jazz was extremely helpful and super sweet and made the long line worthwhile. Thank you for all of your help

I just got off the phone with manager Sherri/Shelly after being on hold for 20 minutes.She is the rudest person I have ever spoke with.During this tough time she is fortunate to still have a job unlike many other people and her lack of customer service and understanding is pitiful. What a shame to Michaels to have such garbage management be representing their company. Is people like her that lose customers to business. I am assuming that corporate does not follow the same type of service as this person and is willing to at the bare minimum Look at her lack of service and rudeness towards customers. I will be filing a formal complaint. Very unfortunate situation that I just experienced.
