He explained everything thoroughly and even went through the pricing, down to the penny. We went to Subaru after my wife did her research and figured out what she wanted. We went in and Karen F. was the sales person that assisted us. She made us feel welcomed and did not pressure us the whole time there. She did not try and push us into another vehicle because they did not have exactly what we were looking. We did test drive the couple of vehicles my wife had on her list and ended up ordering a crosstrek with features we were wanting. Our order arrived within the time frame given.Hani was amazing in the finance department.All in all this was a great car buying experience!
We knew which Subaru Ascent we wanted. We were hoping for a transparent, efficient and financially attractive transaction. Carlos and Damian delivered. We were in & out including a trade-in in under 75min and Damian installed our roof rack. They had my car in the service department for over a month, only to tell me that they couldnt figure what was wrong with my Subaru. They changed the spark plugs, even though I just had new spark plugs installed. The manager actually called me and told me the car still has the issues and they dont know what the problem is. What?? How are you a Subaru dealership, but dont know how to figure out what the issue is.My car was actually in worse shape when I picked it up vs. when it was dropped off. Luckily Subaru Corporate was willing to make things right because of International Subarus incompetence.I took my car to a local mechanic who figured out the issue in less than an hour and fixed it. I couldnt believe it, but the car was great after the local shop fixed it. One hour in a mom and pop shop vs 35 days at International Subaru with no solution.Once the car was fixed, I decided to upgrade to a new Subaru. Received a call from the International Subarus sales department to discuss pricing. When I told the internet sales person that I had a bad experience with their service department, her response was We can take you off our calling list if you prefer. I couldnt believe it. This is the customer service you provide to a customer willing to give you another chance?Went to Gerald Subaru in Naperville who not only treated me with respect, but also came down several thousand below MSRP.I dont like to leave negative reviews, but this dealership doesnt know what they are doing in the service department, and lacks customer service in sales.I wouldnt even go there for an oil change. Btw....if you go there for service and dont get an oil change, they will put down on your paperwork that your oil is excessively dirty. Shadiest service department in town.

Eddy was a great to work with. He helped me buy my car while I was in a different state. There were a lot of extra details to figure out when purchasing a car while in a different state and he helped me with every step - including arranging transportation for the airport for me. He was personal, attentive, and made sure all of my questions were answered. He was very helpful and made me feel that comfortable.
5 star service today took care of all my car issues. fixed the over filled oil change the wheel sensor and noise under the hood. Everybody is friendly and professional. Great experience 👍 👌
Ask to see the results of a compression test before you buy a used car here. This Subaru dealer sold me a car (2013 Outback) that overheated within 2 weeks of owning it. Then they had the nerve to charge me a thousand more dollars to fix it... Everyone Ive spoken to says the dealership should have eaten the cost on that repair because their tests should have indicated a failing head gasket. You can even see the oily black sludge build-up in the coolant reservoir. When Tony showed me the repair history, all I saw was regular oil changes but now theyre telling me how much work they already put into the car before I bought it... so somethings not adding up here.

Best part I wasnt at the dealership all day long an drove off with a great car.
EDIT: Completely helped me out and worked with me, and understood my frustration. They came back around and really did all they could to ensure I get approved and I get the car for what I wanted. Andrew was amazing with his customer service and keeping me in the loop with what is going on even though I was at work. I take back what I said and appreciate their help the whole time.I contacted the dealer regarding a price on a vehicle. I spoke with Molly & she quoted me $13k. I went in to the dealer to purchase the car with the down payment. Before we did the paperwork, I took it for a test drive & I asked her again to confirm the price after the test drive & she confirmed $13k. Than i sat down to go over the paperwork & they told me they can not honor the price they quoted me & they can sell it to me for $15k. I left the dealer because I was irritated that they didn’t honor my quote. I text Molly and asked her if I can contact her manager Carlos. I called him & he sent me straight to voicemail. I right after get a text message from Molly saying“ He just told me that respectfully there is nothing to discuss and you don’t need to call him.If you would like to purchase the car, we will sell it to you. If you do not want to buy it for $14995, the he respects your decision.But he is asking me make that clear.Thank you for understanding”very unprofessional, they seem to just want to give you any price to get you in the door and not honor what they quote you. That message was very clear that they have no intentions of conducting business to sell a car.
We were looking for an SUV for my wife and she was trading in her grand caravan she loved for 10 years. We went to look at an Outback Onyx Edition. We drove the outback for about 1 mile and decided it was too small for us. The interior was awesome especially the dash. Larry the salesman had us try a Ascent. My wife loved it but I figured we could get a better deal down the street at Bettenhausen (We have bought our last three cars from there) on a Cherokee. After the Ascent we drove a Grand Cherokee and a Explorer. We looked hard at a Explorer with leather bucket seats and panoramic roof (we could use a friends and family discount). Nothing compared to the Ascent. We got a great deal on the top Model (Touring ) and couldnt be happier with our first Subaru - Larry was great to work with. We chose the white with java brown leather seats!
I once again followed my salesman Eddy to another location. He does an incredible job helping me pick and choose what vehicle I might like and goes over all the features. The dealership itself was very organized, clean, and had very friendly workers greeting people at they walked in!

The absolute worst Subaru Dealer I have ever dealt with. I first went to them after relocating from Seattle, WA. My first experience was an oil change, which was supposed to be express 45 minutes start to finish. I was at the dealer, it took them over 2 hours to even get to my car. That turned me off, but after hearing how good their customer service department was, and how I might have caught them on a bad day, I gave them another chance. It was the 90k service.I made sure I got the time for service, and asked when my car would be fone with an 8AM drop off, Noon was what I was told. I had a family dinner (pre-covid19). Not only was my car NOT done at Noon, but it wasnt ready till AFTER 5 PM. I filed a complaint and left the service department general manager a voicemail and email of the trestment, not once but twice.As a concession they offered me a great discount on getting back brakes done. Yup, you guessed it, car not ready on time, PLUS they tried to charge me the full price not discounted price that the service department personally put in the system for MY brakes. CSR remove that discount. I went off. I got my discount, but they will never get my business again.

Just bought a new Outback from salesman Damian who was awesome and knowledgeable without the high pressure tactics of other dealerships. He really loves his job and spoke highly of the management and I can see why. The finance manager Larry Sweis was also very pleasant to work with. So friendly and kind and no pressure to add anything extra and super helpful with the financing. We drove from Oswego to purchase our car here and will do it again when its time. So much nicer than another Suburu dealer we spent a day at purchasing a Forester with my daughter last month. We were going to buy our Outback from there because it was closer to our home but we were so turned off by their high pressure tactics and trying to add money to the cost of the car after my daughter agreed to the price......ugh!....it was awful. So we came back to International Suburu where we had purchased a couple of cars in prior years and I dont think we will ever go anywhere else no matter how far away we move. I only wish we had brought my daughter here in the first place.

I am in the beginning of the car buying process and visited this location to test drive a CrossTrek Sport. Salesman Tony was AWESOME! He went out of his way to find the vehicle I wanted to test drive and was very knowledgeable on Subaru. I will definitely be purchasing a vehicle from him should I decide on the CrossTrek as my next vehicle.My reason for only giving 3 stars is this: While my dad and I were waiting for Tony to find the vehicle for me to test drive, we decided to look around on the lot and see what vehicles were available. We wandered onto the back lot not knowing we had to have a staff member accompanying us in this area. There was no signage indicating this, or if there was, it was not clearly visible. We made it about 10 feet into the backlot when a member of the service team came out of the garage and quite rudely informed us of needing a salesperson to accompany us. The service member stated, We cant just have random people coming into this area. Being referred to as a random person I thought was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful on his part. I wish I had gotten a glimpse of his name badge as I would have included his name in this review. Even though I made a mistake and entered an area with restricted access, I would have expected a bit more respect as a customer than what I was given.The only reason I am still considering to purchase a vehicle from this dealership is because of the very positive experience I had with Tony. If it was not for him, International Subaru of Orland Park would have lost a prospective sale.

I tried to purchase a used Honda Civic Monday April 26, 2021. I spoke with salesperson Molly she started off friendly until time for negotiation. The car was 6200 I asked her how much for the car out the door cash. Her answer was rather financing or paying cash it will be 7303. How is that possible so I left two days later the car was sold for 6100 so maybe 🤔 she just didn’t want to sell it to me. I will never return to this dealership again. The people at International Subaru were very friendly and helpful. I needed a new car and was eyeing a Subaru Legacy. I was dreading going into any dealership to buy a car because I was prepared for salespeople to be all over me, pressuring me to buy one. It was so nice to be able to just walk in and look at the Subaru Legacy without being bothered by anyone. Eventually Karen F came and asked if I wanted to test drive it. It was really nice how I was able to go off on my test drive on my own. By the end of the night, I had bought the Subaru Legacy. The dealership was able to price match and get the car for less than originally listed. Karen was a great salesperson, very friendly and helpful and not rushing me at all. She also followed up with me a few days after I got the car to see how it was going. Janine was also very friendly and helpful in finance. Great people to work with. I was also glad to not have spent hours at the dealership. I was so surprised at how quick and painless the whole process of buying my new car was. Would definitely come here again when it comes time for the next new car!

Our experience with Larry Sweis at International Subaru was the best we have EVER had at a dealership. We tried Toyota and Nissan first and walked into International Subaru just to drive the Forester. I wanted to weed it out of the lineup; I didnt want a Subaru. Larry was our Sales Consultant from start to finish. There was no passing us from a Web Consultant to someone else when you walk in there. Larry set the bar high when it comes to car sales. So my new subaru dies while i am on a road trip. subaru in the state i was in looked at the car. Fuel Sensor. So they order the parts send it to this subaru in my home state. Get to This Subaru in Orland Park. They take car replace fuel pump and fuel sensor. While leaving During the walk around inspection found damage to my bumper. Katie Doogan Jumps right on top of it. Gets her boss. Offers to buff out scratches, repaint car. They gave me a loaner to get around for work. Got My Car Back They did a beautiful job. Dropped off my 2014 WRX for the Takata Airbag Recall. Great experience from start to finish. Rebecca was great, helped take the car in and kept me updated on the status of the recall. The rest of the team I interacted with was very friendly as well. My car was returned to me exactly the same way I dropped it off. Would recommend anyone to take their Subaru here!
I have owned Hyundai elantras for my last two cars and a Ford contour as my first. I visited the international Subaru Orland Park dealership three times to meet with Bill Kappel. He took the time to test drive with me as I found my perfect car. I told him to keep me on a list and let me know when a particular model came in. He kept in touch the following week about a car being on the lot. He showed excellent customer service through maintaining communication and taking the time to find the car that was right for me. Hani Harb was by far the best at explaining my financing options and different warranties. I think that Subaru has a perfect choice for everyone. The two men provided great customer service, and easy car buying experience, and I will definitely be back in the future for my next subaru.

As someone who has had their Subaru serviced at this dealership multiple times I feel confident in saying that everyone who works here is kind, willing to work with you, and all very thorough in their jobs.
I came here after talking to my parents who bought a new car. Apparently the great service is for a new car, as I really regret buying a used one from here and wish I had taken my money elsewhere.Buying a used SUV was a big deal to me as I spent a lot of money, and the disregard for the details is astounding. We had negotiated prior to coming in person, paid cash and still had to wait for HOURS to finish the transaction. They didnt fill up the tank (got it half full) and it wasnt until we were getting the keys to drive away that they told us it only came with one set. Turns out a new key is $260 to purchase and $90 to program. Its the little things that ensure future purchases and recommendations and Im really disappointed. I sure hope the car is better than the dealership.

Hello, today was my visit for the recall on my 2014 Outback air bag:( Great online scheduling and contact availability. So I drove up to the door and was welcomed immediately by a nice young lady inside the docking area. I was then led off to meet Katy inside with a very nice greeting and above and beyond service. I love it when nice people help me! After only a short 2 hour wait and a nice talk with David another customer I was finished. During this time I also met Jeff a salesman who gave me some great car advice and we both shared our love for our Subys:) I enjoy sharing how nice people were at this location and complements to those that hired these people! We never felt like this was a high pressure sale, and we bought a trim/options that suited our needs. We have now purchased two vehicles from International Subaru. In both instances, Sales staff were engaging and helpful, never any pressure. Both our Forester and Outback have been great vehicles. When they have been in for service the Service department has been great.

I walked into Subaru, and was greeted by very nice salesman, particularly Jeff Nonog. Jeff was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and kind. He assisted me and answered all my questions without any hesitation. Jeff helped me find the perfect car that match my needs and desire. I normally do not write reviews, but this particular salesman deserve recognition. I highly recommend working with Jeff for all your questions and concerns. Great customer service Jeffery Nonog very helpful person. I purchased Subaru Forester Touring very nice small SUV perfect for family of 4. There prices are very reasonable and negotiable. I like this dealership.
Great experience until I found out that they lied about my warranty. Claiming it was a 5 year unlimited mile warranty. I had a warranty issue with my car 2 years and 40,000 miles later to find out they only gave me a 36,000 mile, 3 year warranty and charged me for unlimited. Anyone who lies is not someone who I want to do business with. And you shouldn’t either. I’m disgusted with the people who work here.
Was delighted when International Subaru reached out to me via text to schedule a recall service. They made it so easy to reserve an appt, even picked up and dropped off my vehicle! Protective covering was on the steering wheel when my vehicle came home; nice to see how theyre keeping staff and customers safe during this unsettling time. Bravo International Subaru!

Loved Larry the salesman that sold me my car. Awesome friendly trustworthy gentleman, not sure if he’s still there. But I have say with my 3 service visits I was only happy with 1! After my last service call, I do not plan to return. I went in for an oil change and a recall. The receptionist said she didn’t think the part was in for the recall and I would have to reschedule once it comes in. Okay np but now after an hour and half I ask how much longer? Oh they have the part and it will be another hr or so. I had already made another appointment since originally told would need to come back. And was told the seats were already removed would have to have service completed at this point . So I ended up waiting almost 4 hours. It would not have been a problem if I was originally told that. My previous service was an oil change that took almost 2 hours. After car wash I had to wipe my own car off. I plan on going to a Subaru dealership closer to my home, at least I can take an Uber home if it takes long!!!

First time visiting. Our 4th Subaru purchased at another dealer. We thought wed try them for 6,000 check up. Appointment was fir 10:50a. We were out by 11:38a. Totally satisfied with customer service we received and overall service was so amazing we had to figure out what to do with all the extra time as we were expecting to be there for hours (like our city dealer)😉. I had an amazing experience picking out a new car for the first time, in large part thanks to the lovely folks at this dealership. I was a bit nervous, having never done this and also having heard horror stories about pushy car salesmen and overpricing cars when women are buying.This could not have been further from my reality here. Larry was an excellent salesman. He was thorough but not pushy at all. He gave me my best choices, showed me every car I asked to see (and I asked for a lot of options) and was very knowledgeable about each vehicle I saw. He even pointed out minor flaws in the various cars and asked if missing certain things or features would be an issue for me.Joe in financing was amazing! He did his very best to get me to a number that was extremely reasonable and made all parties involved happy. He laid out all my financial options for several cars, I felt like a complete pain even asking, but he didnt balk at all and was more than happy to run numbers over and over for me).From start to finish this was the best experience Ive had with buying a car. And for my first time buying a brand new car, this was an amazing initial go around. I drove off feeling like I got the best deal possible on a car I absolutely LOVE. I cannot recommend this team highly enough, if you go to this dealership be sure to ask for Larry and Joe!.

Recently purchased the 2019 Subaru Ascent from this dealership. I cant say enough about our sales representative, Bill Parish. He is kind, considerate, honest, always goes above and beyond. He gave us his cell number. He answers calls/texts promptly. He always ends his conversation saying to call him any time (and we have). Hes taken very good care of us. Had a very simple and transparent car buying experience. I came into the dealership with an idea of what I wanted to pay for my 2020 crosstrek and International gave me an even better deal. The staff is very friendly and seemed knowledgable about their line up of cars and were able to answer any questions I had.

The process of purchasing my new car was easy and not stressful at all.Ive owned autos made by Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Chevy, Dodge,and Saturn. My new Outback is by far my favorite car ever. It rides beautifully, the gas mileage is excellent for a car its size, there is plenty of storage room, the back seats are roomy, and the navigation and safety features are what Ive been missing my whole life.I love my new Subaru! Great experience buying a new Forester at International Subaru. We feel we got a fair price and our salesman, Bill Parish, was great to work with. We got exactly the car we wanted. Before we left he went over everything in the car. We will come back here next time we are looking for a car.
