Very spacious, ginormous hardware store. Its interesting that they sell groceries, and their prices are very comparable to other stores. Id be absolutely lost without assistants telling where items. I hope they continue to be mindful of that.

Stopped by to purchase shower cleaner and loaded up! They were fully stocked! Lots of new merchandise on display. The store was immaculate. Plenty of on the street parking. Handicapped accessible entrance and restrooms.

Awesome variety and easy to get in and out with what you need. Writing this review actually reminded me that I need to pick up a few more totes, and a few portable tool boxes. :)

I can’t speak for every department, but Plumbing is full of very sensitive workers. If you apply to work here, be very careful about what you say in Plumbing department... Bc the higher ups here will have you terminated for the most minuscule comments. Most of the other team members are nice and funny. But they can be a little like sheep in that they cannot view things from different points of view and will gang up on you for having a distinct opinion than them on certain topics.

This store has everything you can think of. I think it’s one of the biggest Menards they have. Courteous staff are there to help you find your way.

I bought a glass shower door and a shower floor I found 2 men to carry in my home and gave them $15 each I realized its not what I ordered after it was inside, they weighed over 80 lbs and 2 glass doors I talked to the store Mgr and dept manager, they made the mistake, the person delivering to my car and the guard but I have to bring back Im 70 and cant carry to my car I even offered to pay for a truck but they said no how terrible I spent a lot of money there in 2 weeks infact the last 20 yrs I dont understand?

Good store with two things that could be improved. 1) They could make it easier to find different product groups sections. 2) Given the size of the store the number of employees on the floor, it can take a few minutes of searching around to find an employee to help you.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I had pre-purchase my tire online and set an appointment up for install upon receipt. I get to my appointment at my allotted time and I was told 1 hr wait for 1 tire & rotation. I thought, then why did I make an appointment? half hour later theyre calling my name and im ready to go! everyone was very nice.

Great prices but dont come at 8am. Long lines at the cashier because they only staff 2.

I love coming to this store. Whenever I come i can always find whats needed and if not there are associates that ask me for assistance. Today I came into the store in gardening and it was different because I was looking for items and couldnt get assistance

I bought a Patio Furniture Set from them. And, the dining table came inside a box, but when I got home and opened the box that I was assuming was only one table turned out to be a box of 4 tables. Instead of keeping $150. worth of merchandise I didn’t need, I took back the 3 extra tables...and all I got was a returned phone call from A VERY ARROGANT STORE MANAGER NAMED TYLER!!! I urge and recommend anyone reading this review to go across the street to the Home Depot instead of wasting your time at this location!!! I will never be returning!!!

Menards always has what I need, the store is huge and has everything from hardware to food to entertainment. Their mail in rebates are nothing to sneeze at as well.

I love this Menards. All employees are so helpful and the store is always very well stocked. I went in to get a spray bottle to make my own disinfectant, but I wanted a bottle with a fine mist spray. I found one by Zep for three dollars and change. I was also surprised they had some disinfectant wipes priced at $1.99 for 35 sheets. Thats an excellent deal now days. Always pleased with this location.

Im giving a 1 star rating due to layout of the store. I visited the store today and their supply of products is no issue. However for customers to have to walk all the way back to the store to pick up orders is ridiculous. There are no signs easily visible for a customer to know which way to go. The order pick up is located all the way in the back and unfortunately theres no drive around for customers to access entry which would be closer. It is my hopes that this review catches the attention of not only the regional manager but the corporate to male the cka ges needed. This is not customer friendly especially for those with physical challenges.

From start of buying supplies for our fence installation, they have prices listed on items and tell you a completely different price when you go to order it. Panels we wanted were listed for $79 on the display but when purchasing staff said $99... ultimately they honored what was on the display.Got text confirmation for my delivery the night before stating delivery will be between 7am -12pm and the company delivering my supplies will call when on the way.11:45am day of delivery, supplies are still not delivered, so my workers are waiting. Called the delivery company, doesn’t answer and voicemail is full... call Menards and spoke to one of the girls in the building department. Has me on hold she “walks to the desk” for 10 minutes but doesn’t even have me on hold. Sounds like she has me in her pocket while I can hear her whole conversation with her coworkers about them getting drunk the night before.Close to noon at this point, still no delivery and the lady finally says they are loading my things into the truck right now, which is out of the window they initially give me.Now I’m speaking with someone who claims they are a manager, Troy, who has NO customer service whatsoever. I requested a refund for ONLY the delivery fee considering they couldn’t honor a 5 HOUR WINDOW ....and he claims delivery is late due to “traffic” on a Saturday morning... that I will not be getting a refund bc I’m still getting my delivery. My delivery ended up being after 1pm... my panels ended up being damaged bc whoever loaded them did not put them on skids, so his forklift damaged my fence panels.Delivery guy even stated the staff loading the panels did not strap them down properly, hence why it took them long to load the truck . And might I say even the delivery company was very unprofessional, asking about my ethnicity when confirming my address and name. LOLAbsolutely unprofessional, customer service was terrible and I’ll be taking this to your Corp office.

Avoid this location, if I can give 0 stars I would. The staff are poorly trained. The manager for the cashier staff is very rude, she has poor listening skills, and her constant eye rolls are purely ridiculous. When a complaint was made about her, it was taken lightly and the supervisor was nonchalant, as if it was a regular occurrence.

Menards Tinley. This is an out dated store that is not set up with any organization. The employees all are slow and unwilling to help. They work in groups and get nothing done. Slow is the only skill these employees have. I would not recommend this location.

I love Menards! They have just about everything I always want and need. There is always help nearby. Like tonight, looking to replace a leaky bathroom sink faucet. A young man named Matt was able to answer my question!Earlier this Spring I needed paint for my home. Again, Menards to the rescue! All my needs, paint, brushes, drop clothes, clean up equipment, you get the picture!Lighting as well, as recently a light switch went bad, got hot as it was old. The store was open still when I arrived. Menards saved me again.Finally, the friendly help, and best yet, the rebates they offer. Menards cant be beat.Love you guys and ladies! 5 stars in my book!

Menards is the best place with the best price. Great customer service also. I want to mention Tony the manager was outstanding in helping me straighten out an order and replacing some items after I made a mistake. Im re-finishing my entire bathroom right now and I just re-finished all the floors in my house. I did buy a higher quality vanity from a cabinet shop but I saved $250 by getting my granite top at Menards instead of a local granite shop. I also saved $100 on my flooring plus I got a $150 rebate which paid for my new toilet. You get better deals and mail in rebates at Menards. But you have to realize theyre not the highest quality when it comes to certain things like cabinets.

Cheap tools to get the job done if needed but considering the brands they carry, dont expect to have those tools intact for more than a month at most. Pretty decent grocery section for a hardware store, very surprising. That pittsburgh grand distiniction slaps real good too. Service is... well serviceable heh. You get what ya need answered nice and quick. Beware of price gouging though especially with the pointless 11% rebate that doesnt go through half the time.

This Menards was just okay. Its definitely not my favorite store. Not sure if I go back to this one.

Service is completely horrible. Most other places will make things easier/ more convenient for the customer. Not so much here.

Only 1 guy in the whole lumber yard. I asked him if i could have 2 roll up doors taken from the top shelf. He ignored me for 30 seconds straight until he finally acknowledged my presence, then rolled his eyes and said in a minute I waited for 25 minutes until someone came over with a lift, and it wasnt even him. Wish I got his name.. The guy had a beard, caucasian, mid to late 20s. I was being very respectful. Rudest employee Ive ever encountered.

The Tinley park location is alot nicer then the Matteson. The store is clean and well stocked. Prices are about the same as Home Depot and Lowes but with 11% rebates put them on top.

Went shopping for synthetic boards for an outside deck. They had many choices to pick from

I was told that a Donna in the plumbing department could help with my clogged butwhole problem, so I called and this duck-sounding guy told me there was no Donna there, and had the nerve to call me buddy. Terrible service, never coming here.

My husband and I travel to this menards all the time. We practically live there whenever we are working on any home improvement projects. The customer service here has always been excellent. One time we bought a hanging light to go over our dining room table. When we opened the box it was missing the instructions and some parts. We bought back the receipt to the electrical department and without question they gave us the parts we needed. Talk about excellent customer service! Another similar thing happened when we bought a shower curtain rod. It was a brushed nickel look, and one of the attaching parts was chrome. Same experience, we bought it back, and they replaced it without question. If it were home depot I guarantee youd be sitting on the phone with customer service for an hour and a half and you MIGHT get a refund or replacement. Menards has a family owned business type mentality. I will continue to keep shopping here to get the best prices for home improvement and the occasional grocery item/cosmetic product!

I went to buy fertilizer today.At the register it was not bringing up the sale price. Briana called over a man in his 30’s bald to override. After showing them the sale price on my phone on their website they still did not believe me. They held up the entire line and asked me to walk them over to the fertilizer section where in fact it was on sale. No apology ... in fact this man was harassing me. I’ve never felt so disrespected. It was almost that he was trying to antagonize me. The sale prices are not worth the way I was treated.

This Menards in Tinley has the BEST associates. Milton, Salem and Beth are so happy to help customers. They are so patient and helpful. Unlime other Menards I have visites this one is the best. We have purchased a dishwasher, range, range hood and fridge from them. All within one short MONTH! Best Menards in Tinley eber!

I’m not going to go into a lot of detail here as I use Menards regularly. It’s a great place to get what you need for home repairs. I have never been disappointed with anything that they sell. I like their 11 percent rebate that they run regularly.
