This Starbucks is understaffed every single day. I feel bad for your employees that work here. The drinks are great. But please teach your understaffed employees how to acknowledge a full line of people and apologize for the wait.

If you are going to order Drive-up I highly recommend going to other stores that offer it, such as Target. Jewel-Osco has a policy that you have to pick it up by 8:00 pm. My boyfriend placed an order and was told it would be ready between 7:00 pm 8:00 pm. Then he receives a message that it is ready to be picked up at 8:04 pm. The app will not let you do drive up after 8:00 pm. We then went to the store and couldn’t even pick up our groceries ourselves because they “lock them in the freezer” ??? They said the person who handles drive up left for the night but I guess the manager couldn’t unlock the freezer to get us our groceries. Very poor service. Target allows customers to pick up their items even if they originally choose Drive-up.Update: (changed from 1 star to 3 stars)I spoke with a man named Todd over the phone about this order and he was very sincere and sorry about the situation. Originally, he called my boyfriend, who was busy heading to work this morning, and wanted to know if we were still picking up the order or not. My boyfriend felt he was accusing us of not picking up our order yesterday, but Todd explained to me that he did not mean for it to come off that way. When I spoke with Todd and told him about what happened, he was very apologetic and confused. He was not there yesterday evening but said that someone should have brought us our order. He said we could still pick it up today or receive a refund. I appreciated his honesty and that he was trying to help us regarding this matter.

Nice clean Jewel. Staff is friendly. Always lots of fresh produce, and I like that they have a good selection of heat and eat items like rotisserie chicken, soups, sub-sandwiches, ribs etc. They have ready made salads as well as a good salad bar (before covid). Pretty good butcher shop too.

The young girl that works at the deli counter by the fried chicken was so nice and pleasant it actually left a smile on my face even after I left because of her wonderful spirit, and that unforgettable cute smile, shes like a ray of sunshine one in a million personality

After shopping at Jewel for many years now spending a few hundred dollars every time I go today the 11 of July will be the last day I spend my hard earned money there.this will be the 3rd time lines are out the door, multiple check outs not open and customers bagging their groceries. I pointed out to the shift supervisor named Carol that my wife does not work there as she was bagging not my purchase but elderly couple that were in front of us to speed the process up and all I got was a dirty look as she watched my wife doing what the supervisor should of stepped up to do.They have lost a customer for life now.

Just quick trip to pickup prescription.Pharmacy technician was very efficient and courteous. I felt valued.

This store has a lot of items that are out of stock(that I specifically want). This recently started happening. They were normally stocked. I was angry each time I visited and just left everything I picked up behind. Tyra(black shirt) explained to me why and I feel terribly bad that you guys are dealing with these problems. I just thought the managers weren’t ordering enough or the stockers were fast enough. No one else took the time to explain to me why. It was frustrating to just hear “we don’t have it… our load isn’t here yet… it’s wasn’t on the load today…” She also informed me that I can make a special order for items that are in stocked and that she will gladly order it for me. She’s a sweetheart.

Smaller compared to some of newer supermarkets in the area. Not all floor employees will be knowledgeable of what they carry or in which aisle/section it is. I asked 3 different employees if the store carried gluten-free buns. None of them knew (two of them said they werent sure and one of them said they didnt have a separate a gluten-free section in the store). They did indeed have a small number gluten-free rolls, located in a small gluten-free section...just had to find it myself.

Unfortunately the worst of all the Jewels in the area. Quite possibly the worlds slowest deli. The managers are also very unfriendly, any time you ask for assistance they roll their eyes and seem very put off. This has happened numerous times to the point where you feel like you can’t even ask for help. The produce department are seemingly the only helpful people at this Jewel.

Clean store, great prices, selection of items is good. Fast and friendly service. Parking is rarely packed.

The worst place to shop period.. expensive, poor assortment and FAKE discounts..check other stores like Walmart before you buy from them youll save a lot of money not mentioning the staff are very poorly trained

Thr employees for the most part are nice & helpful. They actually say excuse me when closely passing you by, they know where things are in the store, and ring you up pretty quickly when you get to the register. I enjoy shopping here.

Easy to get to the one on 171st and Harlem. Many other shops in the vicinity to shop at as well. You can bank get your pet groomed while getting your laundry done. See for yourself and get your day completed

Jewel-Osco pretty much has everything that I want when I go into the store good quality and they have the best European French bread they also have beautiful flowers

Store was being restocked while I was shopping. Was being done quickly, efficiently and with friendly people. I was able to get everything I needed quickly and checkout was quick.

Extremely long lines, never have shelves stocked with the specials they are offering and prices are high! Produce prices high. I have had milk go bad way before sell by dates. Watch sell by dates too!

My all time favorite thing to buy from is their wing zings by the bucket... this definitely my go-to fried chicken usually twice a week.

Jewel in Tinley is a great spacious store to go to. Such a variety that no other jewel would carry.

Always a drama. Never enough registers open and if there are, baggers are nowhere to be found. Been like that for years...

It was soooooo crowded but I found everything I was looking for with the aid of the employees who were all very nice and knowledgeable about exactly where everything is located in the store. Other than the crowd I had a good experience.

I shop here because i am familiar with the layout and it’s not too big like other grocery stores, but i’ve had problems when asking the employees anything. I had multiple problems in the past getting egg boxes, and getting help in the pharmacy isle is impossible. I just called to see if they had a certain gift card, and the lady told me to just come in and look for myself because they have “hundreds of gift cards”. I explained i wasnt in the area and thought i could call and ask ahead, and she just was silent and hung up on me a few seconds later. Only a good place to go if you dont need any help from staff.

Staff is great, shelves almost always fully stocked, store itself is large and spacious. Produce is fresh and plentiful!

Jewel is usually always a pretty good store to visit. Good produce, usually a good selection of meats, and I love going to the butcher department for thick pork chops and pub burgers. Wish the prices were closer to food for less or Aldi. That is the only reason I dont shop there as much as I would like, the place has always been more expensive, but in recent years it seems to be even higher.

A good Jewel. Any Jewel is great because it is a Chicago classic so I always prefer to shop there when possible. Not the most modern and not open 24hrs, but friendly staff and good selection. The Monopoly game makes things interesting as well. I like that they promote locally sourced items. Hefty Hefty Hefty!

Jewel on 171st & Harlem is AMAZING!! I just left Target in Tinley Park, IL...the Lines are to the BACK OF THE STORE!!!!! I had a plant & a bag of potatoes...no way was I waiting in those lines. I drive right by Jewel to get home & stopped for the EXACT TWO ITEMS & am out of my line in less than 5 minutes...that includes Alex G., the cashier, taking the time to grab me the proper protective bag for my holiday plant!!UNBELIEVABLE THE DIFFERENCE IN MGMT STYLES IN TWO BIG BOX STORES. KUDOS TO TINLEY PARK JEWEL PUTTING THEIR THINKING CAPS ON THE WEEKEND BEFORE CHRISTMAS, ALEX G (cashier) & ALEX (bagger). Merry Christmas!!

Visit on the evening of July 21, 2020BAD customer service. Rude store manager. Dismissive cashiers. This is the first location where the store manager does not speak to customers. No greetings from anyone at this location. The cashier asked for my telephone number for rewards. When I asked how do I sign up, she screamed there is no such thing a Jewel Rewards. This store is not organized and was low on products.

Good grocery store, Im taking away 1 star because I dont like the new layout that removed the middle aisle, you now have to walk the every entire length of the store. Its hard to remember whats down each aisle and it takes longer to shop. Still like the store though.

I really like going to this Jewel-Osco. I especially enjoyed the fresh squeezed juice which they have available. They are well stocked, and whenever I go to look for something I find it. They also have a good selection and variety of products that they sell. The cashiers have always been nice to me and I get in and out of the store pretty quick thanks to the express lane.

Honestly, every time I go to this Jewel I feel like the people at the front desk are always either being rude to one another or being rude to customers. Its obvious that they dont treat all of the cashiers well and its very disheartening to see as a regular who really enjoys shopping at Jewel. Majority of the other departments are always helpful, cheerful, and will have a good conversation with you when you need some help. But for some reason the service desk and some of the cashiers always seem so unapproachable unfortunately. I truly hope this gets fixed because its so uncomfortable that I would rather go to the Jewel in Orland Park or Oak Forest rather than the one nearest to me..

The deli is fantastic. Love the Black Forest Ham. Definitely recommend. Be careful because the prices are very high. You have to shop around the store and use coupons to cut down the gap.

Always a good shopping experience. A few of my items didnt scan the correct price no problem it was fixed immediately with no longer wait.

Generally a good store; however, when I shopped this week there was a tall man stocking produce, whom I did not recognize, who had his mask only over his mouth. That is almost the same as not wearing a mask. He was breathing all over the grapes he was stocking. The usual guys that I have seen in produce for a long time are always completely covered. Covid 19 cases are surging terribly - not wearing a mask over the mouth and nose puts others at risk.

Usually they dont have stuff that we need. They are constantly clearancing out items that dont. Staff is nice but service sometimes can be very slow.
